NHL Plays will highlight the best and the most underrated daily fantasy options among forwards, defensemen and goaltenders.

Please note, these players were chosen early in the day, so make sure to check Rotoworld’s player news for any lineup changes, injuries and potential changes in the crease for starting goaltenders.

Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 4W, 2D, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL) and Yahoo has a $200 budget for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 2G).

Wednesday night has three games on tap.

Gabriel Landeskog (Colorado) - W - $7,100 (FanDuel), $6,000 (DraftKings), $24 (Yahoo)

Landeskog has scored two goals on seven shots in three games since returning to the lineup from a lower-body injury.  He has three goals and nine points in 13 career matches against Philadelphia, which includes two goals and one helper in two contests last year.

Nicklas Backstrom (Washington) - C - $6,700 (FanDuel), $5,200 (DraftKings), $23 (Yahoo)

Backstrom had an impressive return to the lineup on Monday night from an upper-body injury.  He produced one goal, one assist and three shots in the contest.  His return also helped spark Alex Ovechkin.  Backstrom had one goal and three assists in three outings versus Boston last campaign.

Anthony Duclair (Ottawa) - W - $5,000 (FanDuel), $4,500 (DraftKings), $18 (Yahoo)

Duclair offers plenty of bang for the buck potential for Wednesday night.  He has five goals and two assists during a four-game point spree.  Duclair has racked up 21 shots on target over that stretch.  He is up to 15 goals on the year through 31 matches.

Bargain Bin: Joonas Donskoi (COL) - W - $4,900 (FanDuel)/$5,100 (DraftKings)/$17 (Yahoo), Scott Laughton (PHI) - W - $3,900 (FanDuel)/$2,700 (DraftKings)/$14 (Yahoo), Phillip Danault (MON) - C - $5,500 (FanDuel)/$4,900 (DraftKings)/$17 (Yahoo), Jean-Gabriel Pageau (OTT) - C - $5,500 (FanDuel)/$5,500 (DraftKings)/$19 (Yahoo)

John Carlson (Washington) - $7,500 (FanDuel), $7,200 (DraftKings), $31 (Yahoo)

Carlson doesn’t come cheap, but his spectacular play this season could make him worth the price.  His four-game point streak (three goals, four assists) came to an end on Monday, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if he got back on the scoresheet on Wednesday.  Carlson has one goal and three assists in his last six outings versus the Bruins.

Bargain Bin: Ivan Provorov (PHI) - $5,500 (FanDuel)/$5,200 (DraftKings)/$18 (Yahoo), Torey Krug (BOS) - $5,400 (FanDue)/$4,700 (DraftKings)/$22 (Yahoo), Ryan Graves (COL) - $4,100 (FanDuel)/$4,100 (DraftKings)/$18 (Yahoo)

Pavel Francouz (Colorado) - $7,700 (FanDuel), $7,800 (DraftKings), $31 (Yahoo)

Francouz will look to bounce back from a sub-par outing against Calgary on Monday if he gets the start against Philadelphia.  Phillipp Grubauer (lower body) may be available to return Wednesday night and if he plays then he is good option as well.

Bargain Bin: Anders Nilsson (OTT) - $7,700 (FanDuel)/$7,000 (DraftKings)/$26 (Yahoo), Cayden Primeau (MON) - $7,200 (FanDuel)/$7,600 (DraftKings)/$28 (Yahoo)
