DRAFT is back for another season of quick and exciting daily fantasy action. Their DFS platform offers poolies with a chance to participate in a format that most of us have grown very accustomed to over the years. You can compete in a live snake draft in which the participants take a player with each pick. Unlike other DFS games, this gives you the opportunity to use your knowledge to craft a team that no one else will have because the players you select cannot be chosen by your competition.

The draft is quick as you are allotted just 30 seconds per pick and you take five players. Your team is comprised of three forwards, a defenseman and a goalie.

Your strategy can be dictated by the positions being selected ahead of you. For instance, if you are going last and everyone else has a goaltender then you can wait until your last pick to make that selection. Of course, selecting players going up against weaker competition or players who are riding hot streaks are always popular strategies as well.

Editor's Note: If you love Fantasy Football you have to be playing on DRAFT. It's daily fantasy football snake drafts instead of salary caps. All the fun of season long drafts but with no management and they last for just one week. They take minutes to complete and there's even auction drafts! No more setting lineups or constantly worrying about pros, just draft and win! Right now DRAFT is giving Rotoworld readers an exclusive FREE entry into a real money draft when you make your first deposit! Here's the link

Remember, there are new pools available to play in but the players in my rankings will fall off the table as soon as the puck drops in their respective game.

Familiarize yourself with the rues and enjoy! It’s a great game! Wednesday’s four-game slate features some four-person drafts as well as plenty of three-person drafts. There are also head-to-heads and Dream Team formats to participate in.

Forward Rankings:

The first line of the Boston Bruins and the best forwards on the Capitals should be highly sought-after players for Wednesday’s slate. Pastrnak earns the top spot because he has compiled seven goals and two assists during a four-game point streak. Ryan Getzlaf would be a good stack with Rakell if he is able to return from a groin injury.

Defense Rankings:

Mark Giordano just missed the cut, but he would be a good option as well. Carlson hasn’t earned a point in the last two games, but he had three multi-point efforts before that. Lindholm has been red hot with one goal and five helpers during a four-game point spree. Petry got a bit banged up on Monday, but recorded his fifth point in his last three outings. If he is healthy then he has plenty of upside.

Goaltender Rankings:

These four netminders were selected because of their likelihood of emerging victorious on Wednesday night. Holtby went 2-0-0 versus the Rangers last year with a 2.00 goals-against average and .939 save percentage. Gibson, who had an injury scare at Tuesday’s practice, has been outstanding this season and should be able to hold the Islanders’ offense at bay. Rask hasn’t been brilliant this campaign, but posted a 2-0-0 mark versus the Flames in 2017-18 with a 1.46 goals-against average and .949 save percentage. Allen hasn’t lost to the Canadiens in the last two seasons (3-0-0 record, while permitting seven goals).

Now, let’s also look at some players to consider for FanDuel and DraftKings. Keep in mind that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 4W, 2D, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL).

Tomas Tatar (MTL) - W - $4,600 (FanDuel), $5,800 (DraftKings)

David Perron (STL) - W - $5,400 (FanDuel), $5,400 (DraftKings)

Jordan Kyrou (STL) - W - $3,300 (FanDuel), $3,200 (DraftKings)

Elias Lindholm (CGY) - W - $5,700 (FanDuel), $5,700 (DraftKings)

Hampus Lindholm (ANA) - D - $4,400 (FanDuel), $5,600 (DraftKings)

Tatar has collected three goals and three assists in the past two games thanks to two straight three-point performances. If his hot streak continues then he has big bang for the buck potential. Perron has been meshing well with Brayden Schenn, scoring four goals in the last three contests. Kyrou could be a great value play. He skated alongside Tarasenko and O’Reilly at Tuesday’s practice. Calgary’s Lindholm has been hot on the top line with four goals and two assists during a four-game point streak, while Anaheim’s Lindholm has picked up one goal and five helpers over a four-game point spree.
