We had a full slate of day baseball today and, thankfully, there is a night game tonight for those of us that need a little more action. The Rockies and Diamondbacks meet in Colorado to close tonight's Major League Baseball slate.
Arizona Diamondbacks (-121) vs. Colorado Rockies (+100) Total: 11.5
The Diamondbacks and Rockies played a 13-inning game last night to start their three-game series and the Diamondbacks were able to secure a 10-8 victory. Tonight, Arizona will send veteran starter Madison Bumgarner to the mound for Game 2 of the series.
Madison Bumgarner is coming off a horrible opening day start where he gave up six earned runs and walked three in four innings pitched vs. the San Diego Padres.
The Rockies will counter with Antonio Brown. Psych. I'm just joking. The Rockies will start Antonio Senzatela, who also struggled during his first start of the season, giving up seven earned runs in 3.1 innings pitched vs. the Dodgers.

This game opened up with the Rockies as a -114 home favorite, but PointsBet currently has them as an even-money underdog and is reporting that 61% of the tickets and 63% of the handle are backing the Diamondbacks. The Total in this game opened up at 11.5 and some shops are juiced to the Under. However, PointBet is currently -110 on both sides of the Total.
Both of these teams are sending questionable starters to the mound tonight in a hitters environment. When this game gets into the bullpens, I think the scoring will really open up. Our MLB Bettin Tools have a slight lean to the Under. I think there will be plenty of runs in this game, but I see a 6-5 final score.
Edge: Under 11.5
