Don't underrate Grizzlies' defense vs. Bucks

Tonight is the last night of games until next Wednesday due to the All-Star break and injuries will be an issue. They always are right before the All-Star break. As a matter of fact, handicapping the league is tough right before the break. I would go easy on the bets tonight. Trying to scoop up an NBA All-Star Top Shots pack is likely a better idea.

Stephen Curry and Draymond Green have both already been ruled out. In fact, I was on our Live Odds page as the news was announced and within minutes the Warriors went from a 6-point underdog vs. the Suns to an 11-point underdog. The Suns as 6-point favorites were a target of mine, but I'm not laying 11. I can see those big swings happening in more games tonight, as well.

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Memphis Grizzlies (+6) Total: 234

The Bucks and Grizzlies meet tonight in Memphis to close out the first half of the NBA season for each team. If the NBA playoffs were to start today the Bucks would be the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference and Memphis would be getting ready to face the Denver Nuggets in a Western Conference play-in game. Both teams are right where we thought they would be.

The total in this game opened up at 236 and has since been bet down. Right now, it's sitting at 234 on PointsBet and some shops have already gone down to 233. I personally do not trust NBA line movement, but its good to see this number moving in the same direction that I'm thinking.

The Memphis Grizzlies have gone Under the number in each of their last five games and in home games this season they are 7-10 to the Under. The Milwaukee Bucks are top 10 in the league in cashing Over tickets, but they have not been playing to the Over recently. in their last 10 games, the Bucks are 5-5 on the total. Milwaukee is not as good as it's record indicates. The Bucks tend to have stretches where they struggle to score and the Grizzlies are a top-10 team in the league in defensive points allowed. Couple that with this being the final game before the break and I can see the Under cashing pretty easily this evening.

Edge: Under 234
