Monday's NBA card has 12 teams in action headlined by a Bucks versus Timberwolves matchup that has last year's MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and Milwaukee as 7-point favorites on the road.  Monique Vág brings you the best betting notes, props and predictions from around the league to help you win your wagers on the hardcourt.

The Wizards host the Detroit Pistons as 2-point favorites. In the absence of Blake Griffin, Andre Drummond is having an incredible start to the season averaging 22.1 points on 61 percent shooting, and 18.7 rebounds per game.

Today he is up against a Wizards team that has struggled versus opposing bigs surrendering 27.5 points on 56.1 percent shooting and 17.3 rebounds per game.

While Drummond is in a great spot to find success, his points, rebounds, assists total is set incredibly high at 44.5. Look into betting the Under.

The Milwaukee Bucks travel to Minnesota today as 7-point chalk. They have gotten out to quick starts this year averaging the third-most points per game in the first half with 60.8.

Early success has also been a trend for the Timberwolves who enter today averaging 58.8 first-half points, and are coming off a game versus the Wizards where they put up 70 by halftime. Bet the first half game total Over 110.5.

Milwaukee's Eric Bledsoe has about the same number of field goal attempts per game as last year, however his shooting percentage is way down from 48.4 percent last season to 40.8 percent this year.

That said, the T-wolves have been one of the worst teams at defending opposing point guards surrendering an average of 31.6 points, 7.4 rebounds and 9.5 assists per game to the position.

We expect Bledsoe to capitalize off the struggling Timberwolves defense. Bet Over his points, rebounds, assists total of 22.5.

The Rockets have seemingly cooled down their hot shooting after putting up 159 points on Wednesday night, following that with 116 and then 100 points. Today Houston faces a Memphis defense giving up an average of 119.4 ppg.

With most of the Rockets' scoring coming earlier on in games, averaging of 62.8 ppg in the first half, look for another quick start. Take Houston on the first half moneyline.

The Pelicans enter Brooklyn tonight having surrendered the second-highest points in the paint per game with 57.3. This big number is good news for the Nets who rank sixth in the Association in points in the paint with 52.3 ppg. Look for their hot shooting to continue as they enter Monday's matchup averaging 118.7 points a contest.

With both teams defensively ranking near the bottom of the league in opponent points per game, and finding their groove offensively thus far, look for another high-scoring matchup and bet Over the game total of 238.
