LOOK FOR A FAST START IN MOTOWN

The Wizards hope to snap their five-game losing streak on the road as they travel to Detroit to take on a Pistons team that has Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond listed as questionable.

Both the Wizards and Pistons have gotten out to quick starts this season. Detroit scores 30.6 points per game in the first quarter at home, while the Wizards average 28.2 ppg on the road.

In what projects to be a high scoring game, take the Over on the first quarter total of 58.5.

HIS FAVORITE OPPONENT

In the most recent meeting between the Spurs and Rockets, the final score was 135-133 in favor of the Spurs who pulled off the upset win at home. The Rockets hope to avenge that loss, this time in Houston.

In that earlier meeting this season, Rockets big man Clint Capela shot 9-of-9 from the floor for 22 points. Dating back to last season, Capela has been able to put up some of the best numbers of his career against San Antonio, averaging 16.8 points and 17 rebounds per game.

Expect similar numbers today and bet Over his points, rebounds, assists total of 27.5.

SOFT IN THE PAINT

The lowest game total of the night is set at 209.5 as the Bulls travel to Oklahoma City to take on the Thunder who are 6.5-point favorites at home.

The Bulls have struggled to defend opposing centers all season surrendering an average of 23.2 points on 56.3 percent shooting and 17 boards per game to the position. Although these two teams have yet to meet up this season, OKC's Steven Adams averaged 20.0 ppg and 9.0 rpg against Chicago last season. Bet Over his points, rebounds, assists total of 24.5.

GRIZZLIES FINDING THEIR GROOVE

The Heat are 5.5-point favorites as they travel to Memphis. The Grizzlies have struggled at home winning only one of their most recent eight games at FedExForum. However, the Heat average just 107.3 ppg on the road, almost 11 ppg less than what they put up at home.

The Grizzlies have shot the ball well recently and are coming off a game where as a team they converted on 57.1 percent of their field goals while scoring 128 points. Expect Memphis to keep things close and cover the spread.

SHOOTING FROM DEEP

Despite winning the last 10 games in the head-to-head, the Portland Trail Blazers are just 1-point faves as they travel to Phoenix to take on the Suns.

The Suns allow opponents to shoot 36 percent from beyond the arc and Blazers guard Damian Lillard comes in converting 36.2 percent of his three-pointers.

Look for Lillard to take lots of shots and bet Over his 3-point made shots total of 2.5.
