NFL Week 8 parlay and teaser picks

Updated On: October 25, 2019, 6:51 pm ET

We had another solo winner with our NFL teaser and parlay picks for NFL Week 7, and now have a heated race atop our “leaderboard” as the schedule pulls into the midway mark in Week 8.

We were a Buffalo return touchdown on an onside kick away from multiple teaser winners in Week 8, but there's no use crying over how bad the damn Dolphins are...

For those of you not in the know, here’s the skinny: Six members of our Covers Team are going head-to-head-to-head-to-head-to-to-head-to-head this season, providing their favorite “accumulator” for the weekly NFL odds. Picks must give at least a three-game parlay or three-game teasers (standard 6-point wiggle) for full-game spreads and totals this football season. Odds used will be our Covers Line (the ultimate industry consensus odds) at the time of publish.

With a case of beer and office bragging rights up for grabs, things are going to get interesting as we roll into November. Here are our favorite parlay and teaser plays for NFL Week 8:

ANDREW CALEY, SENIOR PUBLISHING EDITOR (-1.8 units)

THREE-TEAM TEASER (+160)

INDIANAPOLIS +1.5
CHICAGO +2
TAMPA BAY-TENNESSEE OVER 39.5

What the Colts have done is impressive. But is Flacco still the QB for the Broncos? Yes? Cool. Colts win. The Bears should take care of business vs a banged up Chargers D. And the Bucs and Titans both stink vs the pass. And I can't believe I'm saying this but Tannehill looked OK.

LAST WEEK:

JACKSONVILLE +2.5✅
MIAMI +23✅
BALTIMORE-SEATTLE OVER 42.5✅

ROB HANSEN, ALERTS/SOCIAL MEDIA EDITOR (-4.4 units)

THREE-TEAM TEASER (+160)

L.A. RAMS -6.5
L.A. CHARGERS-CHICAGO OVER 35
SEATTLE -1

I'm going against some of my golden rules of NFL betting this week. Never bet a big favorite in London, never bet an Over at Soldier Field in Chicago, and never bet a West Coast team playing an early game in the Eastern time zone. Just like "Costanza"... I'm doing the opposite.

LAST WEEK:

PHILADELPHIA-DALLAS OVER 42.5✅
NEW ORLEANS-CHICAGO Over 32✅
DETROIT +7.5❌

BRANDON DUBREUIL, HOST OF PROP SHOP PODCAST (-4.4 units)

THREE-TEAM TEASER (+160)

L.A. CHARGERS +10
N.Y. JETS +12
PHILADELPHIA +8

Gimme the points! I like the Chargers this week at +4 against the terrible Mitch Trubisky so teasing them to +10 is a no-brainer. As for the Jets and Eagles, I think we’re getting a few extra points here as they both looked awful last week but are in nice bounce-back spots against teams that struggle against good competition.

LAST WEEK:

MIAMI +23✅
GREEN BAY +0.5✅
N.Y. JETS +15.5❌

JASON LOGAN, SENIOR INDUSTRY ANALYST (-3.5 units)

THREE-TEAM TEASER (+160)

N.Y. JETS-JACKSONVILLE UNDER 46.5
N.Y. GIANTS +12.5
NEW ENGLAND -6

Push that Patriots spread through some key numbers and sandwich it with bets involving New York teams. I like the Giants with the extra padding and don't expect much from the Jets and Jags: two solid defenses flanked by two terrible offenses.

LAST WEEK:

SAN FRANCISCO-WASHINGTON UNDER 47✅
MIAMI-BUFFALO UNDER 47❌
INDIANAPOLIS +5✅

ROHIT PONNAIYA, PUBLISHING EDITOR (-7 units)

THREE-TEAM TEASER (+160)

MIAMI +20
NEW ORLEANS -4.5
INDIANAPOLIS +1.5

We get it, Miami is terrible. But why the hell are the Mason Rudolph-led Steelers 14-point chalk? The Saints have barely missed a beat without Drew Brees, going 5-0 with Teddy Bridgewater as their starter. Indy looked great in Week 7 and now sits at 4-2. Taking them to win at home against Denver looks like a safe bet.

LAST WEEK:

NEW ENGLAND -3.5✅
MIAMI +23✅
MIAMI-BUFFALO UNDER 47❌

PATRICK EVERSON, SENIOR WRITER LAS VEGAS (-7 units)

THREE-TEAM PARLAY (+600)

SAN FRANCISCO -5.5
PHILADELPHIA +2
INDIANAPOLIS -4.5

I’m not getting anywhere with these three-team parlays, but WTH, here we go. 49ers –5.5 vs. Panthers, on expectation that San Fran breaks out after slogging to a win in the rain at Washington. Eagles +2 at Bills, because Philly has to start winning (or not, who knows?). And Colts -4.5 vs. my Broncos, because Denver is awful.

LAST WEEK:

SEATTLE -3❌
NEW ORLEANS +3.5✅
INDIANAPOLIS -1✅
