We have a full Saturday slate of Major League Baseball games to bet on today, including a matchup where the American League rival Sox meet in Boston this afternoon. The odds you'll see here in this column are powered by PointsBet

Chicago White Sox (+100)  vs. Boston Red Sox (-121) Total: 9

The Red Sox and White Sox begin their four-game series with this contest after being rained out last night. Dylan Cease will get the start for Chicago while Nick Pivetta goes for Boston.

Pivetta has a 2-0 record in a pair of starts this season, which includes a four earned runs in six innings outing vs. the Orioles his last time on the mound. Outside of those runs, he has been very good this season with 11 batters struck out in 11 innings pitched. As a bonus, Boston has scored 25 runs in Pivetta’s two starts.

Dylan Cease has not been blessed with the same luck as Pivetta. He has only given up four earned runs in his two starts, but the run support has been lacking.

The Total on this game opened up at 9 and still sits there, though juiced to the Under at -115. The Red Sox are 8-5 to the Over so far this season, while the White Sox are 8-5 to the Under.

Edge Finder Tip: The Under has cashed in five of the last six White Sox games.
