Welcome to AM's Perfect XI - Week 27 player picks. This column focuses on Togga's Perfect XI game, which you can play via their IOS and Android app. Find the apps here and make sure you update regularly to take advantage of the constant enhancements: https://www.playtogga.com

We've set up a Rotoworld PL Private League which allows you to challenge myself and the rest of the RW PL team over the course of the season. To join it download the app and then click the below link from your device, or find us from the Featured Leagues tab:

Each week I provide a Perfect XI of my own for the upcoming gameweek, recommending 11 players to consider along with some honourable mentions. The players listed won't necessarily be the exact 11 selected for my own Perfect XI fantasy side. The point of this column isn't to tell you exactly who to pick; it's to present some ideas and get your brain whirring. I'll be listing a combination of the must-haves and slightly riskier options, alongside the odd hunch. Hopefully you'll find this useful whether you're playing Togga's game or looking at potential transfers for your official Fantasy Premier League team.

In Week 26 I went with ...

Coutois, Alonso, Baines, Walker, McAuley, Hazard, Eriksen, Brunt, Mane, Lukaku, Costa

148 points seemed like a decent return but a lack of Harry Kane meant it was a below average score at the top of the leaderboard and so my side dropped back out of the Top 100 once again.

Week 27 kicks off at 12:30 GMT on Saturday as EFL Cup winners Manchester United host out-of-form Bournemouth. It's important to have your fantasy team locked in ready for the early game but remember in Perfect XI you can swap out a player right up to one minute before their match kicks off and bring in an alternative player whose match is also yet to kick off. This flexibility will allow you to avoid the pain of a surprise benching or unreported last minute injury and a big fat zero. Ensure you keep your eyes on the RW PL Twitter account for line-ups one hour prior to matches.

Here are your fixtures:

Saturday 4th March
Manchester United v Bournemouth
Leicester v Hull
Stoke v Middlesbrough
Swansea v Burnley
Watford v Southampton
West Brom v Crystal Palace
Liverpool v Arsenal

Sunday 5th March
Tottenham v Everton
Sunderland v Manchester City

Monday 6th March
West Ham v Chelsea

Wednesday 8th March
Manchester City v Stoke

Please note Manchester City v Stoke will NOT be be included as part of Week 27 in Perfect XI. That fixture will form part of Week 28, which means no double gameweek in this format.

David De Gea - at home to Bournemouth. A clean sheet for DDG seems likely with Eddie Howe's men in relegation form of late.

Honourable Mention: Willy Caballero away at Sunderland, Lee Grant at home to Middlesbrough

Antonio Valencia - at home to Bournemouth. Attacking points aplenty alongside a likely clean sheet.
Gareth McAuley - at home to Crystal Palace. The veteran defender can't stop scoring for the Baggies.
Christian Fuchs - at home to Hull. Fuchs and his team-mates looked rejuvenated against Liverpool.
Nicolas Otamendi - away at Sunderland. A likely clean sheet and always a threat from set pieces.

Honourable Mentions: Erik Pieters at home to Middlebrough, Kyle Walker at home to Everton, Marcos Alonso away at West Ham, Ryan Bertrand away at Watford

Gylfi Sigurdsson - at home to Burnley. The top midfield pick, Siggy offers a constant threat from set pieces and open play.
Chris Brunt - at home to Crystal Palace. Delivers the best deadball in the league and racking up the assists.
Kevin De Bruyne - away at Sunderland. Due an influential performance in Week 27 after some quiet displays of late.
Riyad Mahrez - at home to Hull. A simple hunch that we'll see a return to last season's form for the champions.

Honourable Mentions: Paul Pogba at home to Bournemouth, Christian Eriksen at home to Everton, Eden Hazard away at West Ham, Sadio Mane at home to Arsenal

Sergio Aguero - away at Sunderland. An in-form Aguero against the Black Cats defence is a no-brainer.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic - home to Bournemouth. The confidence / arrogance will be in full flow after his Cup winning display.

Honourable Mentions: Jamie Vardy at home to Hull, Fernando Llorente at home to Burnley, Manolo Gabbiadini away at Watford, Harry Kane at home to Everton

That's it for Week 27. Check out the Rotoworld Features page to see a whole bunch of great content to get you ready for the weekend ahead. Feel free to comment below to us know how you're getting on so far. And of course, good luck to all managers this week.
