Michael Porter Jr. posted his third consecutive monster double-double in the Orlando bubble on Thursday night, going for 27 points, 12 boards, two steals, a block and four 3s against the Blazers in the type of performance we're now starting to expect. Through four games during the restart, MPJ is now averaging a robust [double-checks numbers] 26.3 ppg, 10.0 rpg, 0.8 spg, 1.0 bpg and 3.8 3s — and that includes a quiet first game where he only scored 11.

If you just look at his last three games in the bubble, the numbers balloon to this: 31.3 ppg, 13.0 rpg, 1.0 spg, 1.0 bpg and 4.3 3s on 62.3 percent from the field and 93.8 from the line.

While Porter Jr.'s numbers certainly could take a hit if and when the Nuggets are back at full strength, the 22-year-old is showcasing some superstar fantasy potential right now. Here's one other number I dug up:

This season, Porter Jr. has played 24 or more minutes in a game 12 times. When he clears that bar — 24 minutes or anything more — his numbers sit at 20.0 ppg, 10.0 rpg, 0.8 spg, 0.8 bpg and 2.9 3s.

It's been fun starting him in DFS while the salary was low. Those days are probably over. Hopefully the MPJ bonanza is far from done.

On the latest episode of the Rotoworld Fantasy Basketball Podcast, Ryan Knaus joins me to discuss the latest from Porter Jr. and other surging players (including T.J. Warren and Jusuf Nurkic), plus the fallout from Ben Simmons' knee injury (hello Shake Milton and Al Horford), and a look ahead to some DFS options this weekend.
