Josh Jackson has been on something of a garbage-time tear lately, putting up 17.0 ppg, 2.5 apg, 1.5 spg, 2.8 3s in just 21 minutes a game over his last four. The caveat is that the closest game during that stretch was a 17-point win on Saturday night over Atlanta, so it's fair to wonder whether this recent stretch from Jackson is sustainable.
However, during a thin week on the waiver wire, when two of the teams with intriguing options (Detroit and Phoenix) both only have two games, Jackson is worth considering. He's one of the players that Steve Alexander joins me to highlight on the latest episode of the Rotoworld Fantasy Basketball Podcast. We also look at a surge from Donte DiVincenzo, who has an increased opportunity with Giannis Antetokounmpo out, and try to figure out what to make of an insane weekend from Aron Baynes (including 37 points, 16 rebounds, nine 3s and two blocks on Friday night).
During the second half of the show, we're joined by Brian Rosenworcel from Guster to talk Derrick White and the latest drama surrounding the Nets and the Knicks.
