Power Play Report

Dallas starring on the pp

by Michael Finewax
Updated On: October 4, 2018, 4:04 pm ET

I was looking over the shots on goal each team has on the power play and was surprised to see how high some teams were (Toronto) and how low others were (Tampa Bay).

The Leafs were second in shots with 275 on 177 power play opportunities while Tamp Bay were 27th in the NHL with only 188 shots despite having six more power play chances than Toronto.

The thing is that both teams have 33 power play goals.

Toronto – 275
