Islanders Score Four on Major

It was a great power play week for the New York Islanders who scored six times with four coming on one power play as Tyler Bertuzzi of the Red Wings took a match penalty with 6:33 left in the third and the Islanders trailing 5-2.  Four minutes and 38 seconds later it was 6-5 Detroit. Barzal picked up three of his five assists on the night during the power play. That’s how you pile up the points.

Clayton Keller: 11 points in 168:50.

Max Domi: 7 points in 148:57.

The Coyotes were 1-7 this week and are 27-163 this season. Ekman-Larsson and Stepan set up Christian Dvorak for the lone goal.

Patrice Bergeron: 16 points in 145:04.

Brad Marchand:  13 points in 121:28.

Danton Heinen: 10 points in 107:39.

The Bruins were 1-12 this week and are 36-167 in 2017-18. Krug scored for the second week in a row with Ryan Spooner and Bergeron picking up the assists.

Kyle Okposo: 12 points in 179:47.

The Sabres were 3-10 this week and are 29-171 this season. O'Reilly had two goals with Eichel also finding the back of the net. Okposo and Ristolainen each had a pair of helpers with Reinhart getting one. Eichel is out indefinitely with a high ankle sprain and his spot on the first unit was taken by Evan Rodrigues on Sunday.

The Wild were 3-8 this week and are 36-167 to date. Koivu had a pair of goals with Eric Staal getting one. Suter had two assists while Granlund, Dumba, Zach Parise and Spurgeon also had one helper.

The Capitals were 4-8 this week and are 37-171 this season. Carlson had a goal and two assists with Backstrom and Ovechkin each getting one and one. Lars Eller also scored with Kuznetsov assisting on two. Oshie finished the scoring with an assist.
