Power Play Report

Power play opportunities

by Michael Finewax
Updated On: October 4, 2018, 4:04 pm ET

The bottom eight teams, when it comes to power play opportunities are Anaheim, Boston, the Rangers, the Islanders, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Minnesota and St. Louis.

The Ducks are two points out of a playoff spot while the Flyers are four. The other six teams have a playoff spot at this time.

I would have thought that teams at the bottom of the pp opportunities would have poorer records. Apparently not this season.
