Tonight, we have a ten-game NBA slate. I still think the money spot is seven-game slates, but this ten-game slate has a lot of good games. We're still waiting on some injury news from the Lakers mostly, but we already have a lot of value on this slate. As always, make sure to check out all the news before lineup lock.
Derrick White @ Atlanta Hawks
I really like the Spurs tonight against the Hawks, and even though it's not sneaky, it might be lower owned than it should because it's a ten-game slate. After being limited in his first couple games back from injury, White has played at least 29 minutes in three straight games. He has at least 35 fantasy points in each of those three games. Atlanta is allowing the most fantasy points per game to opposing point guards, and the Spurs have the highest implied team total on this slate.
DeMar DeRozan @ Atlanta Hawks
I did say I like the Spurs today, and that includes the combo of White and DeRozan. I've never been a big DeRozan fan, but he's a completely different player this season. The Spurs are making a playoff push, and with as bad as they've been on the road, I like the chances of this game staying close. DeRozan in 35ish minutes against the Hawks seems like a no brainer to me. Like I said above, the Spurs have a high implied team total (highest on the slate), and the Hawks allow the most fantasy points per game to opposing shooting guards.
Nicolas Batum vs. Miami Heat
If you're not paying up for LeBron, then attacking the value is what small forward is going to lead too. Since the All-Star break, Batum has played at least 36 minutes in every game, and while they didn't use him a lot to start the season, he's being used down the stretch. He has at least 14 actual points in five of those six games, and his price is still very fair on DraftKings. While Miami is a good defensive team, they're allowing the tenth most fantasy points per game to opposing small forwards.
Tobias Harris @ Chicago Bulls
Joel Embiid is expected to miss tonight's game, which should lead to Tobias Harris having a bigger role in this offense. Embiid has missed the last six games, and Harris has played at least 34 minutes in each of those games. Harris has over 40 fantasy points in three of the last four games. Jimmy Butler revenge is going to be a thing tonight, and while I don't mind a good narrative, I want to keep looking at the guys that have received bumps with Embiid off the floor, which is Harris and Simmons.
Alex Len vs. San Antonio Spurs
With Dedmon doubtful, I'm going right back to the well on Alex Len tonight. John Collins is expected to play, and the only concern I have is this game going small. The Spurs continue to struggle on defense, and they've really struggled on the road this season. With Dedmon not expected to play, I'm projecting Alex Len for 26-30 minutes tonight. This is my favorite game stack of the slate, and Alex Len is a cheap way to get exposure to the Atlanta Hawks side of the ball.
