(5:52 PM ET): Not much happening from the Jets fantasy options, as Brandon Marshall leads the way with three catches for 35 yards. Chris Ivory has just 22 yards on 12 carries (1.8 ypc). Oakland has been surprisingly tough on the run this season.

(5:46 PM ET): The Oakland Raiders are pouring it on the New York Jets with a 28-6 lead in the third quarter. Derek Carr just connected with Taiwan Jones for a 59-yard score and is now up to 261 yards passing with four touchdowns.

(5:32 PM ET): Earlier today, Jameis Winston completed 16 of 29 passes for 177 yards and a touchdown as the Bucs knocked off Atlanta. This marked Winston's third-straight game without an interception as the rookie hasn't thrown a pick since Week 4. A home matchup with the New York Giants is on deck for Winston and Tampa Bay.

(5:26 PM ET): We finally have a touchdown in the Dallas/Seattle game as Russell Wilson just connected with TE Luke Willson for a score. Wilson is now at 108 yards on 8/13 passing with the touchdown.

(4:29 PM ET): Derek Carr just hit Andre Holmes for a short touchdown pass in the earlier of the two late games. No score yet between Dallas and Seattle.

(4:23 PM ET): Drew Brees just tied the NFL record, throwing his SEVENTH touchdown pass of the day. Brees is at 511 yards with the seven TD passes and will likely have a chance to add more to his stat line in overtime as the Saints and Giants are tied at 49.

(4:10 PM ET): Jacob Tamme (12) leads all fantasy tight ends in targets this week, with overtime still to come. Tamme has 10 catches and 103 yards with a touchdown. Heath Miller (11) is second, and has eight catches for 81 yards on the day. Miller's stock should rise with the return of Roethlisberger.

(4:05 PM ET): A.J. Green just put the Bengals ahead of the Steelers with a touchdown grab. Green is at 118 yards on 11 catches with the score. Lots of action in the latter stages of these early games, as Tavon Austin just hauled in a long touchdown and a pick-six put the Giants ahead of New Orleans 49-42. Julio Jones also found the endzone to tie up the NFC South battle between Atlanta and Tampa Bay.

(3:57 PM ET): BOTH quarterbacks in the New Orleans/NY Giants game have six touchdown passes as the Giants just tied the Saints 42-42. Eli Manning is at 345 yards and Drew Brees is at 414 yards to go along with their 12 combined touchdown passes. There are still nine, yes nine minutes left in this game.

(3:50 PM ET): Stefon Diggs just scored a clutch touchdown for Minnesota as his stellar rookie season continues. Five catches for 91 yards and a score today for Diggs, who has not tallied UNDER 87 receiving yards in any of his four games this season.

(3:45 PM ET): Eli Manning is doing his best to keep up with Drew Brees, throwing his fifth touchdown pass to go with 280 yards and no interceptions.

(3:38 PM ET): Houston backfield update: Alfred Blue has eight carries for 24 yards and Chris Polk is at 18 yards on seven attempts. Blue has the edge in receptions five-to-one and appears to have the slight edge in this backfield with Arian Foster out.

(3:34 PM ET): Very quiet day from the Cincinnati offense, as Andy Dalton is just 14/22 for 125 yards. Jeremy Hill has 55 yards on 10 carries and Giovani Bernard has just one touch on the day. A.J. Green is the only Bengals fantasy option that is producing, with 104 yards on nine grabs.

~

(3:28 PM ET): The Drew Brees show continues and the Saints quarterback is now up to 408 yards and six touchdown passes in three quarters of play. Brees could be on his way to a historic performance with an entire quarter left in this game.

(3:22 PM ET): * INJURY UPDATE * Steve Smith is now down with an injury, and appears to be in quite a bit of pain. Updates to come, but there may be no players left by the end of the day at the rate that these injuries are piling up.

(3:19 PM ET): Tennessee has managed just six points today, and backup quarterback Zach Mettenberger has not helped their cause. Mettenberger is 14/20 for 94 yards and an interception. In the Titans' backfield, Antonio Andrews is leading the way with 16 carries for 64 yards. Just two carries for Dexter McCluster and no sign of Bishop Sankey.

(3:17 PM ET): Philip Rivers just uncorked a bomb to Malcom Floyd for a touchdown and Floyd is now up to 92 yards and two touchdowns on four catches. Rivers is at 246 yards with three scores and no interceptions.

(3:12 PM ET): Colin Kaepernick is just 13/25 passing today for 99 yards, but TE Vernon Davis has been the leading 49ers recevier today with six grabs for 24 yards.

(3:08 PM ET): Nate Washington just caught a long touchdown pass and is following up his big Week 7 performance nicely today. Washington has 74 yards and a score on four catches, but appeared to be injured on the TD catch.

(3:05 PM ET): * INJURY UPDATES * Kendall Wright is questionable to return, Josh McCown is back in for the Browns.

(3:02 PM ET): After a week where Melvin Gordon was held out until the second half, he has handled nearly all of the San Diego running back work today. Gordon has 55 yards on 17 carries while Danny Woodhead and Branden Oliver have just one carry each. It appears that Gordon may be regaining the trust of his coaches.

(2:58 PM): * INJURY UPDATES * Tough to keep up with the injuries today as they are mounting at an incredible pace. Keenan Allen, Eddie Royal, Kendall Wright, and now Josh McCown are all banged up. Johnny Manziel is warming up on the Cleveland sideline.

(2:53 PM ET): Odell Beckham is going bonkers in New Orleans, catching his third touchdown of the day. Beckham is up to 82 yards on six catches with the hat trick.

(2:51 PM ET): Justin Tucker is fantasy's leading kicker so far today, with three field goals on the day with a long of 48 yards.

(2:49 PM ET): Arizona and Cleveland are at halftime, and Andre Ellington's "expanded" role has been far from a reality today. Ellington has two carries on the day and it appears Bruce Arians wasn't entirely truthful in forecasting an increase in work for the running back. We will see what the second half holds.

(2:47 PM ET): * INJURY UPDATES * Matt Forte is walking into the locker room, but no injury news has surfaced yet as to the extent of a possible injury. Also, Le'Veon Bell has been downgraded to OUT for the day.

(2:36 PM ET): With most of the early games at halftime, let's take a look at the target leaders of the active games:

A.J. Green (7): 7 rec, 61 yds

Alshon Jeffery (7): 5 rec, 50 yds, TD

Larry Fitzgerald (6): 5 rec, 42 yds

Tight End

Heath Miller (6): 4 rec, 31 yds

Vernon Davis (6): 5 rec, 23 yds

Gary Barnidge (6): 3 rec, 15 yds, TD

~

(2:30 PM ET): Stay tuned for halftime target leaders.

(2:27 PM ET): The Cleveland backfield remains divided as usual, with Isaiah Crowell handling six carries, Robert Turbin receive two carries, and Duke Johnson providing the most production through the passing game. Duke has 68 yards on two catches.

(2:22 PM ET): Keenan Allen just found the end zone as his stellar season continues. Allen has caught all five of his targets today for 35 yards and the score. Down in New Orleans, Drew Brees continues to destroy the Giants' secondary and now has 300 yards and four touchdown passes in the FIRST HALF.

(2:17 PM ET): * INJURY UPDATE * Khiry Robinson is down and apparently injured as injuries are piling up today around the NFL. Updates to come, but Mark Ingram should see more touches moving forward today.

(2:13 PM ET): Todd Gurley is a an absolute beast and just ripped off a 71-yard touchdown run. Gurley is at 86 yards on the day as STL leads SF 10-3.

(2:10 PM ET): Brian Hartline has two catches and two touchdowns on the day, which doesn't help any fantasy owners but should set up the Arizona Cardinals to throw quite a bit moving forward as Cleveland leads 21-7.

(2:07 PM ET): The San Francisco backfield has been awful today. Mike Davis has seven carries for -2 yards and Kendall Gaskins is at -2 yards on one carry. The matchup isn't easy, but this situation has been brutal without Hyde and Bush.

(1:59 PM ET): * INJURY UPDATE * Le'Veon Bell is down and appears injured with a leg injury. Updates to come but this is awful news for one of the NFL's best players.

(1:56 PM ET): Arizona's John Brown was "active" today but has yet to see a target from Carson Palmer. Also, Drew Brees just found a ridiculously wide open Marques Colston for a touchdown and now has 239 passing yards and three touchdowns in 19 minutes of play.

(1:54 PM ET): The NYG/NO game is turning into a shootout in a hurry as Odell Beckham now has two touchdown receptions to tie the game at 14. Drew Brees and Eli Manning are going to be huge fantasy producers today.

(1:48 PM ET): TE Gary Barnidge continues his incredible play with a touchdown reception. Barnidge now has six touchdowns on the season.

(1: 44 PM ET): Right on cue, DeAndre Hopkins snags a touchdown as Houston gets on the board. Hopkins looks to be bouncing back nicely from his lowest fantasy output of the season last week (6 rec, 50 yds).

(1:43 PM ET): With Arian Foster out, Chris Polk has three carries to Alfred Blue's one so far today. Not much action between the Titans and Texans so far.

(1:41 PM ET): * INJURY UPDATE * Reggie Bush is questionable to return with a knee injury.

(1:40 PM ET): Drew Brees is on fire so far today with 162 yards and two scores in the first quarter. Brees just connected with Brandin Cooks for a score, as Cooks is slowly beginning to stack up some solid fantasy performances in recent weeks.

(1:35 PM ET): The St. Louis defense just notched a safety against San Francisco. The Rams D/ST has been a top fantasy play this season and is performing well again today.

(1:29 PM ET): * INJURY UPDATE * Reggie Bush is down after slipping on the sideline after a punt return in St. Louis. No update yet on his injury or status but Mike Davis and Kendall Gaskins are the only running backs left for San Francisco with Carlos Hyde already out.

(1:24 PM ET): Willie Snead just caught a long TD pass from Drew Brees on a flea flicker. Snead is coming off his worst performance of the season in Week 7 (3 rec, 25 yds), but has otherwise been a great option for Brees and fantasy owners this season.

(1:19 PM ET): We will keep an eye on the San Francisco backfield today with Carlos Hyde injured. Two carries for Mike Davis so far, but the matchup is tough for the 49ers backs today.

(1:13 PM ET): Antonio Brown is already happy about the return of Ben Roethlisberger as he just caught a short touchdown pass. Odell Beckham also just found the end zone as top-tier fantasy wideouts are off to a fine start this afternoon.

(1:11 PM ET): Carson Palmer gets the Cardinals on the board with a TD pass to Troy Niklas. Josh McCown (shoulder) is active for Cleveland, so we will see if he can keep pace with this Arizona offense.

(1:07 PM ET): Arizona coach Bruce Arians insisted that RB Andre Ellington would be more involved today in the Cardinals' offense, so we will keep an eye on that backfield today. Ellington has one carry early in Arizona's first drive.

(1:05 PM ET): San Francisco's Torrey Smith with an early 11 yard catch. He should be in line for more work today with Anquan Boldin and the 49ers likely trailing St. Louis today.

(1:00 PM ET): Welcome to Week 8! The games are about to kickoff after the Chiefs and Lions got things started this morning in London.
