Week Seven is here and thanks to the London game, our football Sunday is supersized today. Much of the attention today will be on the injured stars who are active despite limited practice time this week. Among the players listed as questionable who will suit up as LeSean McCoy, Jamaal Charles, Terrelle Pryor and Tyler Eifert. We'll be tracking how these players fare, along with all of the other news of the day.
(7:37PM) That will wrap up our time today on the Live Blog. Good luck in your fantasy matchups and enjoy the final two games of Week Seven.
(7:36PM) After the Falcons went for a risky fourth down conversion and failed, the Chargers completed their comeback with a field goal from PK Josh Lambo for the overtime win.
(7:19PM) Atlanta put up a strong effort with just a few seconds remaining, including a huge catch by WR Julio Jones, but the Falcons and Chargers are headed to overtime after PK Matt Bryant missed a long field goal as time expired. Jones is up to nine grabs for 174 yards.
(7:12PM) The Chargers couldn't get into the end zone, but they did get a game-tyine field goal from PK Josh Lambo and with just 18 seconds left, this game between San Diego and Atlanta is likely headed for overtime.
(7:04PM) If the game was in doubt, Tampa Bay rookie RB Peyton Barber just ended it as he ran for a 44-yard score, putting the Bucs up 34.17. Starter Jacquizz Rodgers has already been dominating the 49ers with 154 yards on the ground and Barber adds 7/67 to that.
(6:59PM) With under four minutes left and driving to seal the game, QB Matt Ryan of the Falcons just threw an interception, giving the Chargers life. It was Ryan's first pick of the day.
(6:55PM) The Falcons are hanging onto a slim lead over San Diego, but they'll have to do that without RB Tevin Coleman, at least for now. Coleman was forced from the game and into the locker room with a hamstring injury. He has 74 total yards and touchdown on the day.
(6:52PM) QB Tom Brady fired a pass to TE Rob Gronkowski for 37 yards and RB LeGarrette Blount followed that up with a 5-yard touchdown run, extending the Pats lead to 11, 27-16. Gronk is up to four receptions for 93 yards and a touchdown.
(6:48PM) The Chargers are still in the game and just scored again and again, it was RB Melvin Gordon. This time though, it came through the air on a pass from QB Philip Rivers. After failing to score a single touchdown in his rookie year, Gordon now has ten touchdowns for the season.
(6:44PM) Crisis averted! The Steelers star Brown is back from the locker room and back on the field.
(6:41PM) Here is a development that could be bad news for many. Steelers WR Antonio Brown was spotted lying on the ground on the sidelines in great pain. A few minutes later, Brown was forced to go to the locker room, though he did walk under his own power. With Brown out of the lineup, WR Cobi Hamilton is making plays, sporting a 3/36 line all in the past few minutes.
(6:31PM) Speaking of that Patriots/Steelers game, QB Tom Brady just hit TE Rob Gronkowski for a 36-yard score, opening the lead to seven points after a missed extra point. Gronk has only two catches on the day for 49 yards. WR Julian Edelman leads the Patriots with eight catches for 49 yards.
(6:28PM) The Steelers continue to hang with the Patriots as they are currently down just one point, 14-13. QB Landry Jones has 184 passing yards and one touchdown, RB Le'Veon Bell has totaled 118 yards on 20 touches and WR Antonio Brown has five receptions for 93 yards. They've had multiple promising drives, but have found the end zone just once, on a Jones pass to WR Darrius Heyward-Bey.
(6:10PM) WR Mike Evans has another score. After QB Jameis Winston was forced to scramble out of the pocket, he spotted his go-to WR standing in the end zone for the touchdown, adding to the Tampa lead. Evans now has a 6/77/2 line on the day.
(6:03PM) The Falcons continue to lead San Diego, with WR Julio Jones catching six passes for 118 yards. RB Tevin Coleman has 57 total yards and a touchdown. QB Matt Ryan has 171 passing yards and a score early in the third quarter.
(5:56PM) Finally, here are the top scoring fantasy TEs for the week...
TE1- Jack Doyle
TE2- Delanie Walker
TE3- Vernon Davis
TE4- Gary Barnidge
TE5- Lance Kendricks
(5:47PM) Here are your top scoring fantasy WRs up to this point for Week Seven...
WR1- Davante Adams
WR2- AJ Green
WR3- Randall Cobb
WR4- TY Hilton
WR5- Michael Crabtree
(5:34PM) The Chargers will be in comeback mode for the next few minutes of game action and that begins with the second touchdown of the day for RB Melvin Gordon, bringing the score to 27-17 with one minute remaining until halftime. Gordon has 34 rushing yards along with the two scores. The big plays of the day have often been made by WR Tyrell Williams, who has 113 yards on just four grabs.
(5:28PM) It was a rough start for the Buccaneers, but they are in the lead after a scoring pass from QB Jameis Winston to WR Russell Shepard. Winston now has 165 passing yards and two touchdowns on the day with less than one minute left until halftime.
(5:26PM) Here are the top scoring fantasy RBs for the week, so far...
RB1- Matt Forte
RB2- Jay Ajayi
RB3- Jeremy Hill
RB4- DeMarco Murray
RB5- Spencer Ware
(5:24PM) A strip of QB Philip Rivers was recovered and returned for an Atlanta score, giving the Falcons a 27-10 lead. Look for plenty of rush attempts from Tevin Coleman and Devonta Freeman the rest of the day, unless Rivers and the Chargers can get back in the game.
(5:18PM) Bucs RB Jacquizz Rodgers is on his way to another big game in relief of the injured Doug Martin and Charles Sims. Rodgers already has 102 rushing yards on the day as the Bucs fight back against the 49ers.
(5:16PM) He may have lost his QB, but he hasn't lost his deep ball. WR Antonio Brown hauled in a 51-yard pass from QB Landry Jones, putting the Steelers in the red zone. Brown now has four catches for 88 yards on the day.
(5:13PM) Some scores to catch up on...RB LeGarrette Blount's rushing touchdown gives the Patriots a 14 point lead, RB Tevin Coleman also scored on the ground and the Falcons now lead 20-10. Coleman is up to 57 total yards on the day.
(5:00PM) A pair of quick touchdowns. First, WR Mike Evans gets the first points of the day for Tampa Bay on a short pass from QB Jameis Winston. Then, veteran TE Jacob Tamme catches Matt Ryan's touchdown pass, putting the Falcons in the lead.
(4:57PM) Falcons WR Julio Jones is at it again. Early in the second quarter, Jones already has four receptions for 93 yards and his 50-yard grab has Atlanta in the red zone and threatening to take the lead.
(4:55PM) Time to take a look at some of the top fantasy performers of the week so far. Here are the top Week Seven FF QBs...
QB1- Andrew Luck
QB2- Drew Brees
QB3- Tyrod Taylor
QB4- Aaron Rodgers
QB5- Kirk Cousins
(4:48PM) There is still no official report about the injury to WR Mike Evans, but it has been reported that he is expected to return to the game. Good news for the Bucs and all fantasy players.
(4:45PM) The New England Patriots and QB Tom Brady continue to utilize their RBs in the passing game. Brady found RB James White, who took it 19 yards for the first score of the game. White already has two grabs for 32 yards and the score, good for 11.2 PPR fantasy points in the first quarter.
(4:43PM) After Tampa Bay gave the ball to San Francisco, the 49ers quickly found the end zone as QB Colin Kaepernick hit RB Shaun Draughn for the diving touchdown. The Niners are up 14-0 already and we'll soon learn if WR Mike Evans can return to the game.
(4:40PM) Unfortunately, it is a common sight for the Buccaneers. QB Jameis Winston has turned the ball over, throwing an interception and giving it back to the Niners. Also, on the same play, WR Mike Evans suffered an injury and needed attention on the field.
(4:38PM) Steelers WR Sammie Coates surprisingly played last week, but failed to crack the box score. This week, he's active again but already has been sent to the locker room after aggravating his hand injury. This likely means even more targets for Antonio Brown.
(4:36PM) We knew what to expect from Steelers starting QB Landry Jones after he struggled last year. Jones seems to be forcing the ball to WR Antonio Brown, and his latest pass was picked off by the Patriots defense. Brown has two receptions for 28 yards.
(4:33PM) With all of the early games now complete, we're down to three later afternoon games. The Falcons are hosting the Chargers in what is expected to be a high-scoring affair. The Chargers are off to an early 7-3 lead on the Melvin Gordon run. The Bucs come off their bye and are in San Francisco to face the Niners, who have an early touchdown lead. Finally, AFC powers New England and Pittsburgh are matching up, thought QB Ben Roethlisberger is out for at least a couple of weeks.
(4:20PM) The Raiders have opened up their lead over Jacksonville on another touchdown run from RB Latavius Murray, his second of the day. Murray has 59 yards on 18 carries, but those two scores have propped him up as a fantasy scorer. He's dominated the touches ahead of rookies DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard, who have combined for six carries for 17 yards.
(4:18PM) The Bills are in trouble, but certainly not giving up. They scored on a RB Reggie Bush run, then converted the two-point conversion on a Bush catch, bringing the team within three points. They failed to recover the onside kick, giving Miami the ball with under one minute to play.
(4:14PM) After the Luck to Doyle score gave Indy the lead, Titans QB Marcus Mariota was stripped and the Colts defense ran it in to give the Colts a 11 point lead, likely sealing the game with under two minutes left.
(4:12PM) The Chargers have taken a lead on their first drive of the day thanks to a run from RB Melvin Gordon. The big play on that drive for San Diego was a 49-yard garb by WR Tyrell Williams from QB Philip Rivers.
(4:10PM) A pair of quick scores as RB Mike Davis, playing in place of starter Carlos Hyde, scored from nine yards out on the 49ers first drive. More importantly, the Colts scored with less than two minutes remaining, giving them the lead. QB Andrew Luck found TE Jack Doyle for the score. That was Luck's third touchdown pass of the day.
(4:08PM) The Vikings are going to suffer thier first loss of the season, but QB Sam Bradford just found WR Cordarrelle Patterson for his second touchdown in as many games. Patterson took a shot but held on the the score. He has seven receptions for 67 yards, both team highs.
(4:04PM) A pair of games have gone final as the Bengals won the battle of Ohio 31-17 and The Jets knocked off Baltimore, 24-16.
(4:02PM) The Jags haven't really been in the game all day, but the score looks much more respectable after the QB Blake Bortles to TE Julius Thomas. That's only the third catch of the day for Thomas for 20 yards. It is also Bortles' first TD pass of the day, along with his 228 passing yards.
(3:54PM) The Saints are still trying to battle back at Kansas City and QB Drew Brees threw a bullet to WR Brandon Coleman for the score. It's Brees' third touchdown pass of the game and brings the Saints to within three points with just under three minutes left.
(3:52PM) The Lions wasted little time as they marched down, answering the Cousins score. QB Matthew Stafford hit WR Anquan Boldin for the touchdown to regain the lead with just 16 seconds remaining. That's Stafford's first touchdown of the day to go along with 266 passing yards.
(3:47PM) The Redskins have taken the lead over Detroit after a 19-yard scamper from QB Kirk Cousins for the touchdown. With Robert Kelley and Chris Thompson seeing most of the work out of the backfield, starter Matt Jones may have been benched.
(3:46PM) With Ajayi on the bench, backup RB Damien Williams carried the ball in for the score, giving the Dolphins a 21-17 lead over Buffalo.
(3:44PM) He's done it again! Miami RB Jay Ajayi has now rushed for at least 200 yards in back to back games as he's up to 212 yards on the game, with five minutes remaining. He did suffer an injury on his most recent run, forcing him to the sidelines. He's just the fourth player ever to post two consecutive 200-yard rushing games.
(3:40PM) A quick check on some of the injured stars of the day. Bengals TE Tyler Eifert is still sitting with his one reception for nine yards. Browns WR Terrelle Pryor has just two catches for 18 yards. Bills RB LeSean McCoy was forced from the game and is unlikely to return. Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles carried the ball once for no yardage.
(3:34PM) The Titans have come back to tie the game with the Colts on a pass from QB Marcus Mariota to TE Delanie Walker. The TE is having his best game of the season with five grabs for 44 yards and the score.
(3:33PM) Bengals RB Jeremy Hill is having one of the best games of his career, rushing for 168 yards on nine scores, but he was forced to leave the game with an arm injury.
(3:26PM) I mentioned early on today that Titans QB Marcus Mariota was off to a good start, but he has done little since then. Mariota has just 123 passing yards on the day and has run the ball just once after having seven carries each of the past two games.
(3:24PM) With RB Matt Jones having some trouble hanging onto the ball, rookie RB Robert Kelley is seeing some increased playing time and he scroed on a one-yard pass from QB Kirk Cousins, his first score of the game. Jones is disappointing all around today, running for just 27 yards on 10 carries.
(3:20PM) The Eagles have opened a surprising 18-3 lead on the league's last remaining undefeated team, the Minnesota Vikings. The latest score was a QB Carson Wentz pass to WR Dorial Green-Beckham for five yards. This is an ugly game for fantasy owners as both quarterbacks, Wentz and Sam Bradford, are each barely over 100 passing yards on the day.
(3:15PM) Miami RB Jay Ajayi rumbled for over 200 rushing yards last week and he's having another huge game today. Ajayi already has 140 rush yards and a touchdown as the Dolphins attempt to come back against division rival Buffalo. We now have to consider Ajayi a legit fantasy option each week.
(3:13PM) I mentioned the Jets were driving and RB Matt Forte got the job done, taking the ball in for the score from one yard out. The Jets now lead Baltimore 24-16 and give the ball back to QB Joe Flacco, who has been very shaky today.
(3:11PM) One of the storylines of the day was the injured players who gave it a go. One of those was Bills RB LeSean McCoy, who has 11 rushing yards on eight carries and is now doubtful to return to the game after apparently aggrevating his hamstring injury. This will be another situation to watch all week long.
(3:08PM) Jets RB Matt Forte has been just plain bad for the past few weeks, but he's back in Week One form today. He has 110 total yards already and is leading the Jets in the red zone again. His backup Bilal Powell, who has been seeing plenty of work in the pass game in recent weeks, hasn't made a catch on the day, but does have four rushes for 18 yards.
(3:03PM) Bills QB Tyrod Taylor threw the ball up and sppedy WR Marquise Goodwin ran under it for a 67-yard touchdown, extending the Buffalo lead over Miami. That gives Goodwin three catches for 84 yards on the day.
(3:00PM) Bengals WR AJ Green already had one 48-yard reception on the day, the touchdown catch late in the first half. He just made another as Cincy is again driving on the Browns. Green now has 154 yards on the day on seven receptions. It's the huge day we all expected from Green and QB Andy Dalton.
(2:58PM) It has been a quiet day for the Saints and QB Drew Brees, but he just hit RB Mark Ingram with a short pass for a touchdown, Brees second of the day. Ingram now has 63 total yards on the day.
(2:55) The Browns won't go away but the Bengals just keep piling on. RB Jeremy Hill broke through the line and took a run 74 yards for a touchdown. Hill now has 132 yards on just five carries. Meanwhile, RB Giovani Bernard has 38 total yards on nine touches today. Also of note in that game, TE Tyler Eifert made his first catch of the season for nine yards, but he has been limited on the day.
(2:53PM) The Browns have already lost their QB and now the same is true of the Jets as they have ruled out Geno Smith for the remainder of the game. In his place, former starter Ryan Fitzpatrick has 89 yards and a score in a close contest against Baltimore.
(2:51PM) The Lions and Redskins are locked in a defensive battle, but Detroit just took control after scoring the first touchdown of the day. RB Zach Zenner pushed the pile into the end zone for the go ahead score. He now has 24 yards on seven carries.
(2:43PM) With Cody Kessler out, rookie QB Kevin Hogan looks like he belongs. After he was forced out of the pocket, he scrambled for a 28-yard score. That brings the Browns within four points and gives Hogan 72 rushing yards on the day.
(2:40PM) With many of the games now at halftime, let's look at the top overall fantasy scorers from the early afternoon games.
AJ Green- 22.6
Michael Crabtree- 22
TY Hilton- 19
Spencer Ware- 18.4
Brandon LaFell- 18.3
Andy Dalton- 17.3
Andrew Luck- 17
(2:31PM) The Raiders offense is picking up. After their fifth redzone trip of the game, QB Derek Carr found veteran WR Michael Crabtree for the touchdown late in the first half. The Jaguars are not putting up much of a fight, now down 20-6. Crabtree already has seven grabs for 90 yards and that score. His teammate Amari Cooper has just one catch on the day for four yards.
(2:27PM) A quick injury update from the Browns...rookie QB Cody Kessler has been diagnosed with a concussion and will not return. Look for another rookie, Kevin Hogan to finish out the game. WR Terrelle Pryor is presumably next in line for any QB snaps, if needed, but he has been limited today. Pryor has just one reception for 13 yards on two targets.
(2:23PM) With the time in the first half winding down, QB Andy Dalton's hail mary pass was hauled in by star WR AJ Green for the 48-yard score. That gives Green a first half line of 6/106/1, catching all six of his targets. The Bengals lead the Browns 21-10 at halftime.
(2:19PM) QB Ryan Fitzpatrick entered the game and quickly led a scoring drive that resulted in a short touchdown catch by RB Matt Forte, giving the Jets a 14-13 lead. Geno Smith has been called questionable to return after being sent to the locker room with a knee injury.
(2:17PM) The mentioned how the Browns were using rookie QB Kevin Hogan earlier and now they don't have any choice. Starter Cody Kessler was forced from the game and is being evaluated for a concussion. Along with his 44 rushing yards, Hogan now has 25 passing yards.
(2:15PM) The struggles of the Jacksonville Jaguars continue as the game approaches halftime. QB Blake Bortles has completed just three first half passes for a total of 15 yards. The breakout star of 2015, WR Allen Robinson, has one reception for five yards. This is becoming an offense to avoid altogether.
(2:07PM) The touchdowns are coming quickly. In Kansas City, QB Alex Smith founds rookie WR Tyreek Hill who made an acrobatic catch for a touchdown. The Bengals opened their lead when QB Andy Dalton hit WR Brandon LaFell after busted coverage by the Browns. Raiders RB Latavius Murray scored the first touchdown of the day for Oakland. Finally, WR Josh Huff returned a kickoff 98 yards for the score and the Eagles then went for two, putting Philly in the lead.
(2:05PM) New Jets starter Geno Smith's tenure may not have lasted long. He's being checked out for a knee injury and former starter Ryan Fitzpatrick is warming up.
(2:01PM) After back-to-back clunkers, Browns RB Isaiah Crowell is back and playing well. He has 45 yards on seven carries and an early score, bring Cleveland witnin three points.
(1:54PM) Lately, QB Andrew Luck has been waiting until garbage time to collect his stats, but he's just thrown his second touchdown of the game, this one going to WR TY Hilton for a 37-yard score. Hilton looks to be in for a big day, already sporting a 3/68/1 line for the game.
(1:51PM) With RB Dwayne Washington out for the week, the Lions are using the combination of Justin Forsett and Zach Zenner. Forsett has 39 yards on six touches while Zenner is up to 21 yards on five rushes.
(1:48PM) The Browns are doing anything they can to stay in the game with the Bengals. Rookie QB Kevin Hogan has come in the game on three different occasions, rushing for 38 yards. Hogan has yet to attempt a pass. Cleveland is down 7-3, but nearing the red zone.
(1:42PM) The move to QB Geno Smith is paying off so far. He just connected with WR Quincy Enunwa for a 69-yard score. Nice!
(1:38PM) There were many conflicting reports regarding the health of Bills RB LeSean McCoy entering the day, but he has been in the game through the first quarter. McCoy has three carries for seven yards. Many thought his backup Mike Gillislee might be a nice fantasy option today, but he has yet to touch the ball.
(1:34PM) Last week, RB Frank Gore earned his first 100-yard game of his Colts career and this week, he already has a receiving touchdown from QB Andrew Luck, giving Indy a 7-6 lead. In that game, there were some concerns about WR TY Hilton being gimpy, but he's already seen four targets on the day, catching just one for 24 yards.
(1:31PM) With RB Jamaal Charles dealing with an injury, RB Spencer Ware continues to star for Kansas City. He just took a short pass from QB Alex Smith and went 46 yards for a touchdown. He already has 74 total yards on just five touches on the day. Charles has yet to touch the ball.
(1:29PM) A quick update from Philly, the Eagles defensive score was overturned, though the team did keep the ball after the Bradford fumble. The Eagles have the ball around midfield.
(1:28PM) The Browns/Bengals games includes two of the banged up players we'll be focusing on today. Both Browns WR Terrelle Pryor and Bengals TE Tyler Eifert have seen one early target, but both were unable to make the catch.
(1:25PM) It has been a turnover-fest in the Eagles/Vikings matchup and one of them has resulted in a score. Both QB Carson Wentz and QB Sam Bradford have each already thrown an interception and each team has also lost a fumble. The latest, a strip of Bradford, resulted in a defensive score for Philadelphia.
(1:20PM) The home/road splits for the Saints offense is a real thing, but QB Drew Brees and WR Brandin Cooks are doing their best to turn that around on the road at Kansas City. Brees found Cooks for a short score to give the Saints the lead. Cooks has hauled in both of his targets for 21 yards early in the game.
(1:18PM) For Oakland, RB Latavius Murray is making his return to the lineup, but it was actually rookie RB DeAndre Washington who drew the start. It likely won't matter as the pair, along with RB Jalen Richard, are expected to continue to share touches out of the backfield.
(1:16PM) With QB Geno Smith in as the new starter for the Jets, the Ravens defense was pegged by many fantasy players this week and they are paying off early. A fumbled punt attempt led to an easy Baltimore touchdown and they lead the Jets 7-0 early. Smith and the Jets get the ball back.
(1:14PM) After a career day last week, Dolphins RB Jay Ajayi is looking good once again. The first drive for Miami included six touches for 48 yards as the team had to settle for a field goal. No sign of veteran RB Arian Foster yet.
(1:10PM) Titans QB Marcus Mariota is picking up where he left off in the past two games. He's been on a hot streak and just found OL Taylor Lewan for the 10 yard touchdown. The point after attempt failed, so Tennessee leads 6-0 early.
(1:07PM) The first touchdown of the afternoon games didn't take long. After a long run by RB Jeremy Hill, his teammate RB Giovani Bernard takes it in for the score and gives the Bengals and early lead on in-state foe Cleveland.
(12:58PM) I mentioned the morning game across the pond. In a battle of ugly offensive performances, the Giants got the win thanks to a career high four interceptions thrown by Rams QB Case Keenum. HC Jeff Fisher insists the team will stick with Keenum as their starter rather than going to rookie QB Jared Goff. WR Odell Beckham of the Giants was held in check with just five catches for 49 yards.
(12:53PM) One surprise inactive is Lions rookie RB Dwayne Washington, who was expected to make his return today. Instead, the Lions will stick with a combination of RB Zach Zenner and veteran RB Justin Forsett. This is clearly a backfield to avoid.
(12:50PM) Other players who are active today include: QB Joe Flacco, WR TY Hilton, RB Arian Foster, TE Julius Thomas, WR DeSean Jackson, WR Stefon Diggs and RB Latavius Murray.
