Targets and Touches

Week 6 AFC Targets/Touches

by Justin Bailey
Updated On: October 4, 2018, 4:04 pm ET

Targets and Touches will only have players’ six most recent games, regardless if they were active or on a bye. The data will be in descending order of games played. NFC will debut on Tuesday, and the AFC will be posted on Wednesday. You can read the Week 6 NFC report here.

All targets and touches data is compiled from Pro Football Reference. Cornerback data is sourced via Pro Football Focus.

Note: I decided to include more players into the Targets and Touches format for the rest of the season. For simplicity, cornerbacks who see at least 50 percent of the prior week’s snaps will be included.

Baltimore Ravens

Targets: Mike Wallace (6, 6, 6, 10, 11, 9), Dennis Pitta (4, 12, 8, 5, 8, 10), Steve L Smith (9, 6, 11, 11, 3, 0), Breshad Perriman (2, 5, 4, 5, 5, 8), Kyle Juszczyk (3, 2, 1, 7, 5, 6), Kamar Aiken (2, 1, 1, 4, 3, 6), Justin Forsett (3, 5, 7, 0, 0, 0), Terrance West (2, 3, 1, 0, 3, 6), Crockett Gillmore (1, 3, 0, 2, 7, 1), Chris Moore (2, 2, 1, 4, 0, 0), Javorius Allen (0, 0, 0, 3, 1, 0), Kenneth Dixon (0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 2)

Carries: Terrance West (12, 11, 10, 21, 11, 23), Justin Forsett (10, 14, 7, 0, 0, 0), Joe Flacco (4, 1, 3, 1, 1, 1), Javorius Allen (0, 0, 0, 3, 4, 0), Kenneth Dixon (0, 0, 0, 0, 3, 2), Mike Wallace (1, 0, 1, 1, 0, 0), Breshad Perriman (0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0), Kyle Juszczyk (1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0)

RZ Targets: Mike Wallace (0, 2, 1, 1, 2, 1), Dennis Pitta (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 4), Kyle Juszczyk (0, 0, 0, 3, 0, 1), Steve L Smith (1, 0, 0, 2, 0, 0), Terrance West (0, 0, 0, 0, 2, 1), Breshad Perriman (0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 1), Crockett Gillmore (0, 0, 0, 0, 2, 0), Javorius Allen (0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0), Kamar Aiken (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1), Kenneth Dixon (0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 0)

RZ Carries: Terrance West (1, 1, 0, 5, 1, 6), Joe Flacco (0, 0, 1, 1, 0, 1), Justin Forsett (0, 1, 1, 0, 0, 0), Kenneth Dixon (0, 0, 0, 0, 2, 0), Javorius Allen (0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0)

CBs Thrown At (via PFF): Tavon Young 7, 11 (5-31, 7-123-2), Shareece Wright 4 (2-60), Will Davis 5 (3-90-1)

Observations: Dennis Pitta saw heavy volume for the Ravens, leading them with 10 targets. He also snapped his zero targets in the red zone streak after piling up four on Sunday. However, he didn’t muster much production with 36 yards on six receptions. Most notable is Terrance West playing 60 percent of the RB snaps and handling 23 carries, while scoring twice. Kenneth Dixon also saw two carries.

Carries: LeSean McCoy (16, 15, 17, 19, 18, 19), Tyrod Taylor (5, 2, 9, 5, 5, 8), Mike Gillislee (0, 0, 3, 6, 2, 6), Jonathan Williams (0, 0, 3, 0, 0, 5), Reggie Bush (3, 0, 0, 0, 1, 2), E.J. RZ Targets: Charles Clay (0, 0, 1, 1, 1, 1), Robert Woods (0, 0, 0, 1, 1, 1), Greg Salas (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0), Justin Hunter (0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 0), LeSean McCoy (0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0), Marquise Goodwin (0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 0), Mike Gillislee (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0), Nick O'Leary (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1), Walt Powell (0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0)

RZ Carries: LeSean McCoy (3, 0, 2, 2, 4, 5), Mike Gillislee (0, 0, 2, 0, 1, 1), Tyrod Taylor (1, 0, 2, 0, 1, 0)

CBs Thrown At: Stephon Gilmore 4, 8, 8, 2, 6, 2 (2-51, 7-129, 3-48, 1-6, 4-55, 1-53-1), Ronald Darby 2, 8, 4 (1-16, 7-87, 0-0), Nickell Robey 7 (3-35

Observations: It’s going to be tough for WRs in this offense to see much volume when their passing volume is so low. Tyrod Taylor has four games with 26 or fewer pass attempts and less than 180 passing yards. LeSean McCoy left the game at with a knee injury after already scoring two TDs, but he came back for thirds later in the game.

Cincinnati Bengals

Targets: A.J. Green (13, 8, 11, 12, 8, 10), Brandon LaFell (4, 8, 3, 6, 11, 5), Giovani Bernard (4, 11, 5, 4, 6, 5), C.J. Uzomah (5, 8, 4, 5, 5, 2), Tyler Boyd (3, 8, 4, 3, 5, 5), Tyler Kroft (0, 4, 0, 0, 3, 2), Jeremy Hill (0, 5, 0, 1, 1, 1), James Wright (1, 1, 1, 0, 0, 1), Alex Erickson (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0)

Carries: Jeremy Hill (9, 11, 17, 21, 4, 13), Giovani Bernard (5, 5, 5, 10, 9, 15), Andy Dalton (3, 2, 6, 6, 6, 2), James Wright (2, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0), Rex Burkhead (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 2), Brandon LaFell (0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0)

RZ Targets: A.J. Green (3, 0, 1, 1, 0, 3), Brandon LaFell (0, 3, 1, 1, 2, 1), C.J. Uzomah (2, 2, 0, 1, 0, 0), Giovani Bernard (1, 1, 1, 1, 0, 1), Tyler Boyd (1, 0, 1, 1, 0, 0), Jeremy Hill (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0), Tyler Kroft (0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 0)

RZ Carries: Jeremy Hill (3, 1, 3, 2, 0, 2), Giovani Bernard (0, 1, 2, 3, 0, 4), Andy Dalton (0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 1), James Wright (1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0)

CBs Thrown At:  Adam Jones 3, 8, 10, 0, 5, 1 (3-31, 2-26, 8-108-1, 0-0, 4-45, 0-0), Dre Kirkpatrick 2, 7 (1-21, 6-51-1), Joshua Shaw 7 (7-93)

Observations: Giovani Bernard started the game over Jeremy Hill and out-snapped him 66 percent to 31 percent. He also handled four red zone carries to Hill’s two. I think it’s safe to bench Hill until further notice. Bernard is in the RB2 conversation.

Observations: Terrelle Pryor continues to be a threat nearly one-third of the way through the season. Pryor has 25 more targets than anyone else on the team as he represents 28 percent of the Browns’ target share, along with 30 percent of the targets inside the red zone. Isaiah Crowell has yet to top 23 rushing yards in the last two weeks and has fallen back into the low-end RB2 range.

Denver Broncos

Targets: Emmanuel Sanders (8, 8, 13, 13, 9, 6), Demaryius Thomas (6, 7, 7, 7, 7, 10), C.J. RZ Targets: Emmanuel Sanders (1, 3, 5, 2, 2, 0), Demaryius Thomas (1, 0, 2, 2, 1, 3), C.J. Observations: C.J. Anderson played 78 percent of the snaps against the Chargers, but received just 10 carries and managed 37 rushing yards. Devontae Booker received half as many carries on one-third of the snaps and out-rushed him with 46 yards. Anderson could be a volatile option going forward, and Booker should be owned in all formats.

Houston Texans

Targets: DeAndre Hopkins (8, 11, 8, 6, 9, 15), Will Fuller (11, 7, 7, 9, 6, 0), Ryan Griffin (2, 2, 10, 5, 6, 5), C.J. Carries: Lamar Miller (28, 25, 21, 19, 8, 24), Alfred Blue (1, 5, 2, 3, 6, 2), Brock Osweiler (4, 2, 1, 1, 0, 2), Jonathan Grimes (0, 1, 3, 0, 0, 0), Jay Prosch (1, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0), Braxton Miller (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0), Tyler Ervin (1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0)

RZ Carries: Lamar Miller (2, 5, 0, 1, 0, 3), Braxton Miller (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0), Brock Osweiler (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1)

CBs Thrown At: A.J. Bouye 4, 3 (3-41, 2-20), Kevin A. Johnson 7, 9 (5-40, 6-51)

Observations: Will Fuller was deemed active for this game, but didn’t play a single snap. Jalen Strong started opposite of DeAndre Hopkins and played 97 percent of the snaps. However, he was targeted twice on Brock Osweiler’s 39 pass attempts. Finally, Lamar Miller saw some positive regression as he scored two touchdowns and carried the ball 24 times for 149 yards.

Indianapolis Colts

Targets: T.Y. Hilton (12, 11, 11, 10, 11, 9), Dwayne Allen (6, 4, 5, 4, 6, 2), Phillip Dorsett (6, 5, 4, 3, 3, 5), Josh Ferguson (2, 5, 4, 10, 4, 0), Jack Doyle (4, 5, 6, 1, 3, 4), Frank Gore (6, 3, 3, 6, 2, 1), Chester Rogers (0, 1, 2, 3, 6, 4), Donte Moncrief (7, 3, 0, 0, 0, 0), Robert Turbin (2, 1, 0, 3, 0, 4), Quan Bray (0, 1, 0, 0, 3, 0), Erik Swoope (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 3)

RZ Carries: Frank Gore (0, 1, 2, 2, 0, 3), Robert Turbin (0, 2, 1, 1, 0, 2), Andrew Luck (0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 2), Josh Ferguson (1, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0)

CBs Thrown At: Vontae Davis 7, 7, 6, 8 (5-55, 4-26, 3-37, 4-31),  Darius Butler 7, 5 (5-33, 4-27-1), Rashaan Melvin 5 (3-50)

Observations: Dwayne Allen left the game with an ankle injury, and Jack Doyle followed that up with a 4-53-1 stat line. If Allen were to miss time, Doyle would become a TE streaming candidate. He represents 10.5 percent of the Colts’ target share in the red zone.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Targets: Allen Robinson (15, 5, 11, 10, 0, 6), Allen Hurns (5, 10, 8, 4, 0, 11), Marqise Lee (4, 7, 7, 6, 0, 6), T.J. Yeldon (6, 9, 3, 5, 0, 2), Julius Thomas (5, 7, 5, 0, 0, 4), Marcedes Lewis (2, 3, 3, 2, 0, 1), Rashad Greene (2, 3, 0, 1, 0, 0), Arrelious Benn (0, 2, 0, 2, 0, 1), Chris Ivory (0, 0, 1, 1, 0, 2), Denard Robinson (0, 2, 0, 0, 0, 0), Bryan Walters (0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0), Corey Grant (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0), Neal Sterling (0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0)

Carries: T.J. Yeldon (21, 7, 6, 14, 0, 6), Chris Ivory (0, 0, 12, 8, 0, 11), Blake Bortles (2, 3, 3, 7, 0, 3), Denard Robinson (3, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0)

RZ Targets: Allen Hurns (1, 3, 1, 1, 0, 2), Allen Robinson (1, 0, 3, 2, 0, 1), Marqise Lee (0, 0, 2, 1, 0, 1), Marcedes Lewis (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 1), Corey Grant (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0), Denard Robinson (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0), Rashad Greene (1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0), T.J. Yeldon (1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0)

RZ Carries: T.J. Yeldon (4, 0, 1, 1, 0, 0), Chris Ivory (0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 3), Blake Bortles (0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0)

CBs Thrown At: Jalen Ramsey 4, 5, 6, 9, 9 (3-23, 3-25-1, 4-15, 7-107-1, 4-73), Prince Amukamara 2, 7 (1-5, 3-57), Aaron Colvin 6 (6-37)

Observations: Things were trending upward for T.J. Yeldon after he was thought to have secured the starting role. He started this game and played 61.5 percent of the snaps, but Chris Ivory handled 42 percent of the Jags’ touches. Yeldon will be tough to rely on with Ivory mixed in and the lack red zone work for Yeldon limits his upside.

Kansas City Chiefs

Targets: Jeremy Maclin (7, 15, 7, 8, 0, 3), Travis Kelce (7, 7, 7, 8, 0, 3), Chris Conley (7, 4, 5, 7, 0, 4), Spencer Ware (8, 3, 1, 5, 0, 2), Albert Wilson (5, 3, 0, 8, 0, 1), Tyreek Hill (1, 2, 4, 7, 0, 2), Charcandrick West (6, 2, 3, 0, 0, 0), Demetrius Harris (3, 1, 3, 1, 0, 2), Ross Travis (1, 0, 2, 1, 0, 0), Jamaal Charles (0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 2), Knile Davis (0, 0, 0, 3, 0, 0), Anthony Sherman (0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 1), DeAnthony Thomas (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 2)

Carries: Spencer Ware (11, 10, 20, 13, 0, 24), Charcandrick West (3, 6, 3, 0, 0, 3), Alex Smith (4, 2, 3, 1, 0, 3), Jamaal Charles (0, 0, 0, 2, 0, 9), Tyreek Hill (0, 1, 1, 1, 0, 0), Jeremy Maclin (1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0), Knile Davis (0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0)

RZ Targets: Travis Kelce (1, 1, 3, 3, 0, 0), Chris Conley (1, 1, 2, 1, 0, 0), Tyreek Hill (1, 0, 1, 2, 0, 0), Jeremy Maclin (1, 1, 0, 1, 0, 0), Albert Wilson (1, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0), Spencer Ware (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 1), Charcandrick West (1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0), Demetrius Harris (0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0), Jamaal Charles (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1), Ross Travis (0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0)

RZ Carries: Spencer Ware (2, 0, 2, 3, 0, 5), Alex Smith (1, 1, 0, 0, 0, 2), Jamaal Charles (0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 3), Charcandrick West (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1)

CBs Thrown At: Marcus Peters 7, 11, 5, 7, 6 (5-42, 5-98-1, 2-17, 5-86, 3-32), Steven Nelson 6, 2, 9, 3, 4 (5-31, 1-20, 1-9, 2-42-1, 3-38), D.J. White 8 (5-68)

Observations: The Chiefs said they were going to “sprinkle” in Jamaal Charles and that’s just what they did with his nine carries and 23.5 percent of the snaps. He also received four red zone touches. After five straight weeks of receiving seven or more targets, Jeremy Maclin and Travis Kelce each saw three targets. Alex Smith attempted 22 passes as their running game stumbled over the Raiders. I’d expect Kelce and Maclin to get back on track in Week 7 against the Saints.

Miami Dolphins

Targets: Jarvis Landry (10, 13, 12, 10, 3, 9), DeVante Parker (0, 13, 6, 3, 3, 7), Kenny Stills (5, 4, 8, 3, 1, 3), Dion Sims (0, 1, 4, 2, 3, 2), Damien Williams (2, 0, 3, 2, 2, 2), Jordan Cameron (3, 7, 1, 0, 0, 0), Jay Ajayi (0, 4, 0, 2, 1, 2), Arian Foster (5, 0, 0, 0, 0, 2), Kenyan Drake (0, 2, 2, 0, 3, 0), Dominique Jones (0, 0, 0, 0, 2, 2), MarQueis Gray (0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 3), Leonte Carroo (2, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0), Isaiah Pead (0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0)

Carries: Jay Ajayi (0, 5, 7, 6, 13, 25), Arian Foster (13, 3, 0, 0, 0, 3), Kenyan Drake (0, 2, 9, 2, 2, 0), Ryan Tannehill (5, 6, 1, 0, 0, 2), Damien Williams (2, 0, 1, 2, 1, 6), Isaiah Pead (0, 0, 5, 3, 0, 0), Jarvis Landry (0, 0, 2, 0, 1, 0)

RZ Targets: Damien Williams (0, 0, 1, 0, 1, 2), DeVante Parker (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 2), Jarvis Landry (1, 0, 1, 0, 0, 1), Dion Sims (0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 1), Jay Ajayi (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 2), Arian Foster (1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0), Jordan Cameron (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0), Kenny Stills (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1), Leonte Carroo (1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0)

RZ Carries: Jay Ajayi (0, 0, 2, 0, 5, 6), Arian Foster (1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 2), Ryan Tannehill (2, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0), Damien Williams (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 2), Kenyan Drake (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0)

CBs Thrown At: Byron Maxwell 5, 8 (3-22-1, 4-29), Bobby McCain 3 (2-14)

Observations: Jay Ajayi handled 25 carries for the Dolphins and out-carried Arian Foster by 19. Foster played 15 percent of the snaps in his first game back from his hamstring injury. Ajayi should be considered the RB1 in Miami for now. It’s hard to trust many of the pass-catchers with Jarvis Landry representing 31 percent of their target share. Devante Parker is the next closest with 20 percent, but in the last four weeks he has two games with three targets.

New England Patriots

Targets: Julian Edelman (7, 11, 6, 4, 10, 7), James White (7, 4, 2, 5, 6, 9), Martellus Bennett (5, 6, 3, 6, 8, 5), Chris Hogan (4, 6, 3, 2, 5, 1), Rob Gronkowski (0, 0, 1, 2, 7, 9), Danny Amendola (4, 4, 2, 2, 2, 2), Malcolm Mitchell (5, 2, 2, 0, 3, 0), LeGarrette Blount (0, 0, 0, 3, 0, 2), Brandon Bolden (0, 0, 0, 3, 0, 0), D.J. Foster (0, 2, 0, 0, 0, 0), Matthew Slater (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0)

Carries: LeGarrette Blount (22, 29, 24, 13, 18, 13), James White (1, 4, 3, 4, 5, 7), Jacoby Brissett (0, 4, 8, 4, 0, 0), Julian Edelman (3, 0, 3, 1, 0, 1), D.J. Foster (0, 1, 0, 0, 6, 0), Jimmy Garoppolo (4, 0, 0, 0, 2, 0), Tom Brady (0, 0, 0, 0, 2, 2), Brandon Bolden (1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0), Chris Hogan (0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 0), Matthew Slater (0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 0)

RZ Targets: Julian Edelman (0, 2, 1, 0, 2, 1), Martellus Bennett (0, 1, 1, 0, 2, 2), Danny Amendola (1, 2, 1, 0, 0, 0), Rob Gronkowski (0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 3), James White (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 2), Chris Hogan (0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0)

RZ Carries: LeGarrette Blount (1, 4, 6, 2, 7, 3), Julian Edelman (0, 0, 2, 0, 0, 0), D.J. Foster (0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 0), Jacoby Brissett (0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0), Jimmy Garoppolo (1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0), Tom Brady (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1)

CBs Thrown At: Logan Ryan 9, 7, 9, 16, 3, 4 (7-65-2, 6-66, 6-67, 3-24, 12-101, 2-24, 2-52), Malcolm Butler 7, 12, 5, 6, 3, 7 (3-61, 9-157, 1-3, 3-24, 2-26, 3-17-1)

Observations: The biggest thing to note from the Patriots since Tom Brady’s return is the usage of James White. Pre-Brady, White didn’t play more than 38 percent of the snaps in any game. With Brady back, White played 48 percent of the snaps in Week 5 and 61 percent in Week 6, while LeGarrette Blount snap percentage dipped to 39 percent in both weeks. White has strong value in all formats with Brady back.

Targets the last two weeks with Tom Brady: Edelman 17, Gronk 16, White 15, Bennett 13.

New York Jets

Targets: Brandon Marshall (8, 9, 10, 12, 15, 6), Quincy Enunwa (8, 6, 11, 7, 7, 5), Bilal Powell (4, 2, 7, 9, 8, 4), Matt Forte (7, 3, 4, 3, 2, 3), Eric Decker (7, 8, 6, 0, 0, 0), Robby Anderson (0, 0, 2, 6, 2, 6), Charone Peake (0, 0, 0, 3, 1, 10), Jalin Marshall (0, 4, 4, 0, 0, 3), Austin Seferian-Jenkins (0, 0, 0, 0, 2, 0), Brandon Bostick (0, 1, 0, 0, 1, 0), Braedon Bowman (0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0), Kellen Davis (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0)

Carries: Matt Forte (22, 30, 15, 14, 12, 9), Bilal Powell (4, 1, 4, 4, 4, 3), Ryan Fitzpatrick (4, 5, 3, 2, 1, 1), Geno Smith (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1)

RZ Targets: Brandon Marshall (3, 0, 4, 1, 2, 1), Bilal Powell (1, 2, 2, 1, 0, 0), Eric Decker (2, 1, 1, 0, 0, 0), Quincy Enunwa (1, 0, 3, 0, 0, 0), Matt Forte (0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0)

RZ Carries: Matt Forte (6, 8, 2, 1, 1, 0), Ryan Fitzpatrick (1, 2, 0, 0, 0, 0), Bilal Powell (1, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0)

CBs Thrown At: Darrelle Revis 8, 5, 6, 2, OUT, 5 (8-83, 2-90-1, 5-45, 2-17, OUT, 4-40), Marcus Williams 6, 5, 4, 3, 9, 4 (4-91, 3-22, 2-29, 3-36-1, 6-127-1, 4-34), Buster Skrine 3, 4, 5, 5, 4, 10 (2-24, 2-20, 5-45, 5-56-1, 4-21-1, 7-69)

Observations: The Jets’ offense looked like a mess on Monday night football. They mustered 230 yards of total offense with two turnovers. No WR saw more than six targets, including Brandon Marshall. Matt Forte was in on 39 percent of the snaps, while Bilal Powell played 72 percent. Powell has established himself the passing-down back. Things may not get easier for the Jets as they play the Ravens in Week 7.

Oakland Raiders

Targets: Amari Cooper (11, 9, 9, 6, 12, 13), Michael Crabtree (9, 5, 11, 12, 7, 4), Seth Roberts (4, 6, 6, 3, 3, 6), Clive Walford (5, 7, 3, 4, 0, 2), Jalen Richard (2, 1, 1, 3, 7, 3), DeAndre Washington (1, 1, 1, 3, 6, 1), Latavius Murray (2, 6, 1, 2, 0, 0), Andre Holmes (1, 3, 1, 0, 3, 2), Lee Smith (0, 4, 1, 1, 0, 0), Jamize Olawale (0, 2, 1, 0, 1, 0), Mychal Rivera (0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 2), Taiwan Jones (2, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0), Johnny Holton (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0)

Carries: DeAndre Washington (5, 6, 6, 5, 9, 10), Latavius Murray (14, 8, 10, 8, 0, 0), Jalen Richard (3, 7, 6, 2, 8, 4), Derek Carr (2, 2, 1, 3, 2, 3), Jamize Olawale (1, 1, 1, 1, 6, 0), Johnny Holton (0, 1, 1, 0, 0, 0), Taiwan Jones (1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0)

RZ Targets: Michael Crabtree (0, 1, 0, 2, 2, 1), Seth Roberts (2, 1, 1, 1, 1, 0), Amari Cooper (1, 1, 0, 0, 2, 1), Andre Holmes (0, 2, 0, 0, 1, 1), Clive Walford (1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0), Jalen Richard (1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0), Jamize Olawale (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0), Latavius Murray (0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0), Mychal Rivera (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1)

RZ Carries: Latavius Murray (1, 3, 0, 1, 0, 0), DeAndre Washington (1, 0, 0, 0, 2, 1), Jamize Olawale (1, 0, 0, 0, 1, 0)

CBs Thrown At: Sean Smith 5, 7, 7, 7, 5, 4 (3-172-1, 6-67-2, 1-19, 4-47, 3-87, 4-36), David Amerson 5, 6, 11, 6, 5, 6 (5-40, 3-40, 4-38, 3-61-1, 4-148-1, 5-57)

Observations: Amari Cooper has finally taken over Michael Crabtree in target share. The last two weeks Cooper has seen 25 targets, to Crabtree’s 11. Cooper also trails Crabtree in red zone target share by a mere one target. The main difference is Crabtree has turned his seven red zone targets into four touchdowns, while Cooper has yet to convert a red zone target into six points. DeAndre Washington out-snapped and out-carried Jalen Richard, but neither did much regarding fantasy value. Both RBs are in the low-end RB3 range while Latavius Murray is out.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Targets: Antonio Brown (11, 11, 18, 5, 11, 8), Sammie Coates (3, 5, 4, 8, 11, 4), Jesse James (7, 5, 4, 2, 8, 3), Le'Veon Bell (0, 0, 0, 6, 11, 7), DeAngelo Williams (9, 5, 7, 1, 1, 0), Eli Rogers (7, 3, 5, 0, 0, 5), Xavier Grimble (0, 4, 0, 2, 2, 3), Markus Wheaton (0, 0, 5, 1, 3, 0), Darrius Heyward-Bey (0, 2, 1, 1, 0, 2), David Johnson (0, 1, 0, 1, 0, 1), Cobi Hamilton (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 2), Fitzgerald Toussaint (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0)

Carries: DeAngelo Williams (26, 32, 8, 4, 1, 3), Le'Veon Bell (0, 0, 0, 18, 20, 10), Landry Jones (0, 0, 0, 2, 2, 1), Ben Roethlisberger (1, 1, 1, 1, 0, 0), Fitzgerald Toussaint (3, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0), Daryl Richardson (0, 1, 1, 0, 0, 0), Sammie Coates (0, 1, 0, 1, 0, 0), Antonio Brown (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1), Darrius Heyward-Bey (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1)

RZ Targets: Jesse James (2, 1, 0, 1, 1, 0), Antonio Brown (0, 1, 0, 1, 2, 0), Sammie Coates (0, 0, 1, 1, 2, 0), Eli Rogers (2, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0), Markus Wheaton (0, 0, 1, 0, 1, 0), Xavier Grimble (0, 1, 0, 1, 0, 0), DeAngelo Williams (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0), Le'Veon Bell (0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 0)

RZ Carries: DeAngelo Williams (3, 2, 2, 1, 0, 0), Le'Veon Bell (0, 0, 0, 0, 2, 0), Ben Roethlisberger (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0), Daryl Richardson (0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0)

CBs Thrown At: Ross Cockrell 6, 8, 2, 4, 11, 7 (4-34, 3-40, 2-20, 4-44, 7-96-1, 3-18), William Gay 3, 7, 8, 9, 1, 6 (2-17, 4-48, 6-43-1, 5-52, 0-0, 4-62),

Observations: Sammie Coates was dealing with a broken finger and a lacerated hand before Sunday’s game. He failed to catch any of his four targets. You know it’s a bad day when Antonio Brown catches four of eight targets for 39 yards. The Steelers’ offense will take a hit without Ben Roethlisberger behind center. I'd expect Le'Veon Bell to see the least amount of change in production.

San Diego Chargers

Targets: Travis Benjamin (8, 6, 7, 7, 11, 5), Tyrell Williams (5, 6, 9, 8, 6, 3), Hunter Henry (2, 0, 5, 7, 4, 8), Dontrelle Inman (3, 3, 4, 11, 3, 1), Antonio Gates (4, 5, 0, 0, 5, 6), Melvin Gordon (0, 3, 7, 7, 1, 2), Danny Woodhead (7, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0), Dexter McCluster (0, 0, 3, 3, 0, 2), Keenan Allen (7, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0), Derek Watt (0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 1), Griff Whalen (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1), Kenneth Farrow (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0), Sean McGrath (0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0)

Carries: Melvin Gordon (14, 24, 16, 19, 16, 27), Danny Woodhead (16, 3, 0, 0, 0, 0), Kenneth Farrow (0, 4, 0, 0, 0, 2), Philip Rivers (2, 1, 1, 1, 0, 0), Dexter McCluster (0, 0, 0, 1, 1, 0), Kellen Clemens (0, 2, 0, 0, 0, 0), Derek Watt (0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 0), Travis Benjamin (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0)

RZ Targets: Tyrell Williams (1, 3, 2, 2, 0, 2), Antonio Gates (1, 3, 0, 0, 1, 2), Dexter McCluster (0, 0, 3, 2, 0, 1), Hunter Henry (1, 0, 0, 2, 1, 2), Travis Benjamin (3, 1, 0, 0, 1, 0), Melvin Gordon (0, 1, 1, 0, 1, 1), Danny Woodhead (2, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0), Dontrelle Inman (0, 2, 0, 0, 0, 0), Griff Whalen (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1)

RZ Carries: Melvin Gordon (3, 8, 3, 6, 4, 5), Danny Woodhead (3, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0), Dexter McCluster (0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 0), Kenneth Farrow (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0)

CBs Thrown At:  Casey Hayward 6, 4, 1, 5, 9, 7 (3-39, 2-38, 0-0, 4-44, 6-83-1, 4-21), Steve D. Williams 7, 7 (3-54, 3-22), Craig Mager 5, 12 (4-24, 9-80)

Observations: Antonio Gates was active Thursday night and played 48 percent of the snaps. Hunter Henry still played a vital role in this offense, leading them in targets, receiving yards and catching Philip Rivers only passing touchdown. Henry may still be valuable even with Gates back in the lineup. The Chargers have the Falcons next, who have hemorrhaged points to TEs this season.

Tennessee Titans

Targets: Tajae Sharpe (11, 7, 7, 7, 4, 3), Delanie Walker (5, 6, 0, 8, 8, 2), DeMarco Murray (7, 7, 5, 2, 6, 2), Rishard Matthews (4, 6, 8, 2, 4, 3), Andre Johnson (7, 2, 3, 5, 4, 0), Kendall Wright (0, 0, 0, 3, 1, 9), Harry Douglas (5, 0, 4, 0, 0, 0), Anthony Fasano (0, 3, 0, 1, 1, 1), Derrick Henry (2, 1, 0, 0, 0, 2), Jace Amaro (0, 0, 4, 0, 0, 0), Phillip Supernaw (0, 1, 1, 0, 0, 2), Jalston Fowler (0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0)

Carries: DeMarco Murray (13, 12, 16, 25, 27, 21), Derrick Henry (5, 9, 10, 3, 7, 2), Marcus Mariota (4, 2, 3, 4, 7, 7), Matt Cassel (0, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0), Tajae Sharpe (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1)

RZ Targets: DeMarco Murray (5, 1, 1, 0, 2, 0), Tajae Sharpe (1, 1, 1, 1, 0, 0), Andre Johnson (1, 1, 0, 0, 1, 0), Delanie Walker (1, 0, 0, 1, 1, 0), Harry Douglas (1, 0, 2, 0, 0, 0), Rishard Matthews (1, 0, 0, 0, 1, 1), Anthony Fasano (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1), Jalston Fowler (0, 0, 1, 0, 0, 0)

RZ Carries: DeMarco Murray (1, 0, 2, 6, 3, 4), Marcus Mariota (1, 0, 0, 0, 1, 2), Derrick Henry (0, 1, 0, 0, 1, 0), Tajae Sharpe (0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1)

CBs Thrown At: Jason McCourty 9, 9, 6, 3, 3, 10 (3-52, 5-53, 2-26, 1-6, 2-61, 6-52), Perrish Cox 4, 10, 10, 7, 0, 12 (3-31, 6-85, 6-89, 5-47-1, 7-81-1), Brice McCain 0, 5  (0-0, 4-44-1)

Observations: Kendall Wright was targeted nine times despite only playing 22 snaps and running 14 routes. It was a weird week when Delanie Walker receives two targets after seeing 16 targets in the last two weeks. Obviously, Anthony Fasano scored a touchdown to top it off. Murray struggled on the ground with 65 yards on 21 carries but salvaged his fantasy day with his TD. The Titans get the Colts next where Walker and Murray can look to get back on track.
