Zach Parise jumped from a 21% ownership to 30% after he was featured on Waiver Wired a week ago.  Frank Vatrano was sitting at 17% last week when he appeared on Waiver Wired and now he’s owned in 26% of Yahoo leagues.  Adam Fox has been a popular addition during the break, as his ownership has hit 39%.

Oliver Bjorkstrand (Columbus) - LW, RW - Owned in 32% of Yahoo leagues

Bjorkstrand returned to action prior to the break from a rib/cartilage contusion and an oblique strain.  He scored four goals in two games and was credited with nine shots during that span.  Bjorkstrand has nine goals and 11 points in his last six outings.  He leads the Blue Jackets with 16 goals and 131 shots this season.  Bjorkstrand is certainly worth scooping up if he’s available.

Joel Armia (Montreal) - RW - Owned in 23% of Yahoo leagues

Armia also came back from extended injury absence prior to the break.  He picked up one goal, eight shots, four hits and two blocks in two games after returning from a hand injury.  Armia ranks third on the Canadiens with 13 goals.  He is also has 96 hits in 37 games this campaign.  Montreal has a busy upcoming schedule with four games on tap for this week.

Anthony Cirelli (Tampa Bay) - C - Owned in 22% of Yahoo leagues

Cirelli had three goals and three assists over a three-game point streak going into the break.  He scored the first hat trick of his career to end a nine-game goalless slump.  Cirelli is on pace to flirt with the 60-point plateau this season.  He has had some chemistry with Ondrej Palat lately, but he also sees action alongside Steven Stamkos and Nikita Kucherov at times.  Cirelli and the Lightning have a busy schedule this week with four games.

Cam Fowler (Anaheim) - D - Owned in 22% of Yahoo leagues

Fowler has been hot and cold this season, but he’s supplied nine points (three goals, six assists) in the past 14 games.  He quarterbacks the top power-play unit of the Ducks and the team has a busy upcoming schedule with four contests on tap.  Fowler is tied for the team lead in power-play points (seven) and he's tied for fourth on Anaheim in scoring with 25 point following 48 contests.

Jake Allen (St. Louis) - G - Owned in 21% of Yahoo leagues

The Blues play four games this coming week, including two back-to-back situations.  Allen could split starts with Jordan Binnington during that stretch, which makes him a good pickup.  He has posted solid numbers this season with a mark of 8-3-3 to go with a 2.22 goals-against average, a .927 save percentage and one shutout over 17 appearances.

Christian Dvorak (Arizona) - C, LW - Owned in 18% of Yahoo leagues

Dvorak appeared on Waiver Wired last week and he’s still sitting at an 18% ownership.  He will return from the break with two goals and two assists during a four-game point streak.  Dvorak has four goals and six points in nine outings this month.  He is up 30 points in 51 games this season.  Dvorak should be in store for a strong second half with Taylor Hall skating alongside him on Arizona’s top line.

Tyler Johnson (Tampa Bay) - C, LW, RW - Owned in 14% of Yahoo leagues

Johnson is having a difficult season, but he went into the break with four goals and four assists in 11 games.  That includes one goal, two helpers and five shots in his last four contests.  Johnson is back in Tampa Bay’s top-six forward group and he’s worthy of a flier with the Lightning set to play four times on the road this coming week.  He has been more productive away from home this season with six goals and 14 points in 23 contests.

Jake Virtanen (Vancouver) - RW - Owned in 11% of Yahoo leagues

Virtanen has been flying under the radar in the midst of a career year for him offensively.  He already has 14 goals and 28 points through 49 matches.  Virtanen has been logging time alongside Elias Pettersson and J.T. Miller, who are Vancouver’s top-two point producers.  He has also been chipping in on the Canucks’ second power-play combination.  Virtanen has eight goals and 19 points in the past 24 games, including one goal and two assists in the last two contests.  Vancouver is another team that plays four times this week.

Justin Williams (Carolina) - RW - Owned in 6% of Yahoo leagues

Williams made his season debut with the Hurricanes on Jan. 19 after he signed with the team on Jan. 8.  He scored the shootout winner versus the New York Islanders and followed that up with a two-goal performance against Winnipeg on Jan. 21 prior to the break.  Williams has eight shots and one power-play marker since his return to Carolina.  He has been logging time as a bottom-six forward, but he has been skating on the team’s top power-play unit.

Kailer Yamamoto (Edmonton) - RW - Owned in 6% of Yahoo leagues

Yamamoto will make a third straight appearance on Waiver Wired, which is a rarity.  He’s back again because Edmonton didn’t play any games after he was featured last week and it’s worth reminding everyone about him.  Yamamoto has made an impact since he was called up from the minors in late December.  He has three goals, three assists. 23 hits, 10 shots and four penalty minutes.  The 21-year-old forward has been playing alongside Leon Draisaitl and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins during even strength play.
