Paul Stastny is currently owned in 42% of Yahoo leagues after he was sitting at 35% a week ago.  Jaden Schwartz jumped from 28% to 34%, while Nick Schmaltz’s ownership ballooned from 26% to 40%.  Alexander Kerfoot went from 15% to 34% and Jakob Silfverberg’s ownership increased from 19% to 44%.

Gustav Nyquist (CBJ) - LW, RW - Owned in 23% of Yahoo leagues

Nyquist has accounted for one goal and four assists in the last seven games.  It didn’t take long before he was moved up to the top line with Pierre-Luc Dubois and Cam Atkinson.  He is also occupying a spot on the top power-play unit.  Nyquist currently has the second-most points on the team with six after 11 games.  He’s certainly worthy of more fantasy consideration, especially after he had 60 points last season.

Eric Staal (MIN) - C - Owned in 20% of Yahoo leagues

Staal only had one assist in the first seven games of the year, while playing through a minor injury.  It’s unclear if whatever was ailing him is gone now, but he has been much better of late with three goals and two helpers in the past four matches.

Alex Goligoski (ARI) - D - Owned in 15% of Yahoo leagues

Goligoski has generated one goal and five assists in 10 contests this season.  He also has 18 shots, 13 hits and 14 blocks to go with a plus-5 rating.  Additionally, Goligoski is tied for the team lead in power-play points with Phil Kessel and Nick Schmaltz at three apiece.  He provides some pretty good category coverage and he has been a 40-point contributor before.  Goligoski is trending towards returning to that mark this year.

Hampus Lindholm (ANA) - D - Owned in 12% of Yahoo leagues

Lindholm appeared on Waiver Wired back in Week 1 when he was owned in 5% of Yahoo leagues.  He has continued to produce and now he’s up to nine assists in 12 games following a three-point performance on Saturday night.  Lindholm is tied for the team lead in points, while contributing one on the power play and two shorthanded.  Additionally, he ranks second on the team with 16 blocks.

Thatcher Demko (VAN) - G - Owned in 9% of Yahoo leagues

Demko proved he is worthy of more playing time when he stepped up during the absence of Jacob Markstrom a couple of weeks ago.  He started three games from Oct. 15 to Oct. 19, while posting a 2-1-0 record with a 1.65 goals-against average and .943 save percentage.  Vancouver plays four times this coming week, including a back-to-back set.  Demko should get at least one start and could possibly play twice if Markstrom gets a break.

Joel Armia (MTL) - RW - Owned in 8% of Yahoo leagues

Armia has a team-leading six goals over nine appearances this season.  He has added two assists and 26 shots during that time.  Armia’s 23.1 shooting percentage likely isn’t sustainable, but he has been playing well with an increased role in 2019-20.  He has been skating alongside Jonathan Drouin and Max Domi, while recording two goals and one assist in two games since returning from a lower-body injury.  Armia also ranks second on Canadiens with 24 hits (2.7 per game).

J.T. Compher (COL) - C, RW - Owned in 7% of Yahoo leagues

Compher has been promoted to Colorado’s top line with Nathan MacKinnon and Gabriel Landeskog because Mikko Rantanen is sidelined week-to-week due to a lower-body injury.  Avalanche coach Jared Bednar didn’t want to break up what has been a successful second-line combination, so Andre Burakovsky and Joonas Donskoi are still playing with Nazem Kadri.  Compher has also played with MacKinnon and Landeskog in the past.  He has recorded an assist in each of the past two games since moving up, including one on the power play.  Compher has been skating on the top unit with the man advantage in Rantanen's place. He has six points through eight outings this campaign.  Compher is a great replacement for Rantanen owners and he’s worthy of a flyer for other fantasy GMs at this time.

Oskar Lindblom (PHI) - LW - Owned in 6% of Yahoo leagues

Lindblom is tied for the team with five goals and he’s tied for second on the Flyers in points, with seven through nine matches.  He has earned two goals on the power play and has three points on the man advantage.  Lindblom has also been credited with 20 shots.  He has been playing alongside Sean Couturier and Travis Konecny on the second line.

T.J. Brodie (CGY) - D - Owned in 5% of Yahoo leagues

Brodie has produced six assists in 13 games this season.  He has collected four helpers in the last four games.  Brodie also ranks fourth on the Flames with 16 blocks.  Calgary plays four times this coming week, which makes Brodie an attractive short-term pickup.  He has topped 30 points in each of the last three years.

Calle Jarnkrok (NSH) - LW, RW - Owned in 3% of Yahoo leagues

Jarnkrok has registered three goals and nine points in 11 games this season for the high-scoring Predators.  He has been a great fit alongside Ryan Johansen and Viktor Arvidsson on the top line.  Jarnkrok has also been playing on the top power-play unit, which led to two points in Saturday’s overtime win over Tampa Bay.  Jarnkrok has collected two goals and two assists during a three-game point streak.  He likely won’t maintain the 67-point pace he is on, but somewhere in the 50-55 range could be a possibility if he keeps his newfound roles.
