Joonas Donskoi went from a 17% ownership last week to 46%.  Adam Fox, who was also featured on Waiver Wired a week ago, saw his ownership balloon from 24% to 42%, while Tristan Jarry went from 15% to 39%.  Brett Connolly is still available in 80% of Yahoo leagues and Christian Dvorak can be had in 84% of Yahoo leagues.

Colorado lost rookie sensation Cale Makar to injury on Saturday, which could open the door for Samuel Girard (owned in 13% of Yahoo leagues) to see time on the top power-play unit.

Dylan Strome (Chicago) - C - Owned in 33% of Yahoo leagues

Strome has been productive since returning from concussion protocol.  He has one goal and two assists in the last two games.  Strome has picked up where he left off before he was hurt when he had two goals and eight helpers during a nine-game stretch from Nov. 7-Nov. 23.  He is playing between Alex DeBrincat, who has started to heat up, and Patrick Kane.  If he’s available then he is worth scooping up.

Jason Zucker (Minnesota) - LW, RW - Owned in 28% of Yahoo leagues

Zucker has seven goals and six assists in the past 17 games, including nine points (six goals, three assists) in his last 10 outings.  He is tied for the team lead with 21 points in 30 contests and ranks second on the Wild with 11 goals.  Minnesota has a busy schedule with four games on tap for this upcoming week.

Alex Tuch (Vegas) - LW, RW - Owned in 28% of Yahoo leagues

Tuch has heated up with four goals and three assists during a four-game point streak.  He didn’t have a point in seven appearances prior to his recent hot streak, but he is healthy now and he has been firing on all cylinders.  Tuch has been skating on the third line, but he has seen time alongside Jonathan Marchessault and William Karlsson for stretches, which includes time on the power play.

Phillip Danault (Montreal) - C - Owned in 21% of Yahoo leagues

Danault has continued to pile up points on Montreal’s top line with Tomas Tatar, who leads the team in scoring, and Brendan Gallagher, who leads the Canadiens in goals.  Danault’s 23 points in 30 games ties currently has him tied with Gallagher and Shea Weber for second on the club.  He has generated two goals and 11 helpers in the past 13 contests.  That includes one goal and three helpers during a three-game point streak.  Danault is on pace for the first 60-point season of his NHL career.

Alex Killorn (Tampa Bay) - LW, RW - Owned in 14% of Yahoo leagues

Killorn is a player who has been recommended on Waiver Wired a few times in recent weeks.  He missed two games due to a lower-body injury, but that hasn’t slowed down his offensive production.  Killorn has seven goals and 10 assists in his last 14 outings.  He has two goals and three helpers in two games since his return from injury.  Killorn has enjoyed success alongside Anthony Cirelli at even strength and his presence on the top power-play unit has yielded good results.  He sits fourth on the team with eight points on the man advantage.

Pavel Francouz (Colorado) - G - Owned in 11% of Yahoo leagues

Francouz was forced to step in for an injured Philipp Grubauer on Saturday night.  He stopped all 16 shots he faced to help Colorado defeat Boston by a score of 4-1.  Francouz has won his last three appearances, while blocking 88 of the 92 shots he has faced.  Grubauer managed to return to the bench after being hurt and his status is unclear at this time, but if he misses any time then Francouz’s makes for a great replacement.

Calle Jarnkrok (Nashville) - LW, RW - Owned in 11% of Yahoo leagues

Jarnkrok has four goals and three assists in the last eight games.  He is back on a line with Filip Forsberg and Ryan Johansen after spending some time alongside Matt Duchene.  Jarnkrok has 10 goals and 19 points in 28 matches, which puts him on pace for a career year.  With the exception of a cold stretch from Nov. 2-Nov. 19 when he posted one goal in seven contests, Jarnkrok has been fairly consistent in 2019-20, while seeing time with Nashville’s top players.

Zach Hyman (Toronto), C, LW - Owned in 9% of Yahoo leagues

Hyman has scored three goals in the past two games.  He has five goals and one assist in 12 matches since making his season debut on Nov. 13.  Hyman missed the first 19 games of the 2019-20 campaign after tearing his ACL in the playoffs.  He was back alongside Mitch Marner and John Tavares on Saturday night against St. Louis.  Hyman netted two goals in the match, including a shorthanded marker.  He had a personal best 21 goals and 41 points in 71 games last year, while playing with Tavares and Marner.

John Marino (Pittsburgh) - D - Owned in 5% of Yahoo leagues

Marino has been having a quietly productive rookie season.  He has accounted for three goals and 10 assists in his last 19 appearances after going pointless in his first nine outings.  Marino had a six-game point streak from Nov. 16-Nov. 27 before going on a four-game scoreless skid.  He bounced back with one goal and one assist on Saturday versus Detroit.  Marino has been logging time alongside Kris Letang at even strength and ranks fourth among first-year players in average ice time per game (19:34).  He has also been credited with 39 hits and leads the Penguins with 35 blocks through 28 matches.

Scott Laughton (Philadelphia) - C, LW - Owned in 1% of Yahoo leagues

Laughton has four goals and two assists in the past six games.  He has been clicking with Kevin Hayes (owned in 12% of Yahoo leagues), who has eight points in his last 10 contests, on Philadelphia’s third line.  Laughton also has 40 hits and 24 shots in 17 games this season.  He could be worthy of a flier in deeper leagues.
