Paul Byron remains available in 88% of Yahoo leagues. He was just owned in 4% of leagues last week when he was originally mentioned on Waiver Wired. Byron has continued to produce goals on a line with Alexander Radulov and Alex Galchenyuk. Eric Staal is nearly owned in half of Yahoo leagues now at 47%, while Cam Ward has jumped to a 32% ownership after he was taken in just 21% a week ago.

This week’s offerings provide some injury replacement suggestions after Steven Stamkos and Johnny Gaudreau went down with long-term ailments in addition to some other players enjoying hot streaks.

Robby Fabbri (STL) - C, RW - Owned in 34% of Yahoo leagues

Fabbri is worthy of a second straight appearance on Waiver Wired because I like his long-term value. He got off to a slow start, but he has been on a scoring tear since he was a healthy scratch last week. Fabbri has put together a four-game point streak, which consists of three goals and two assists. He has been a great fit alongside Vladimir Tarasenko and he has been seeing plenty of action on the power play, where he has accounted for four points during his scoring spree.

Patrick Eaves (DAL) - RW - Owned in 33% of Yahoo leagues

Eaves is up to nine goals in 18 games and he has generated 15 points. Dallas is getting healthier, but it looks like he will still get plenty of opportunities to continue his hot start. Patrick Sharp and Cody Eakin are back in the lineup to give the Stars more depth. On Saturday, Eaves skated on a line with Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn at even strength and he was on the top power-play unit. He potted his fifth goal on the man advantage to stretch his point streak to five consecutive contests. Eaves has scored a goal in each of those matches and he has racked up seven markers in his past seven outings.

Teuvo Teravainen (CAR) - LW, RW - Owned in 17% of Yahoo leagues

Teravainen has put his seven-game scoring drought behind him with three goals and three assists in his last four appearances. He registered a four-point performance against Washington on Nov. 12 for the bulk of that production. Teravainen has skating alongside Victor Rask, who co-leads the Hurricanes with 14 points in 16 games this season, which should help him continue his improved play.

Sam Bennett (CGY) - C - Owned in 16% of Yahoo leagues

Bennett has moved onto the top line for the Flames with Johnny Gaudreau sidelined. He notched one goal and one assist on Friday during his second outing with Sean Monahan and Troy Brouwer. He also accounted for six shots to help him snap a six-game pointless slump. Bennett has plenty of talent and real opportunity to succeed with Gaudreau sidelined for around six weeks with a fractured finger.

Vladislav Namestnikov (TBL) - C, LW - Owned in 14% of Yahoo leagues

Namestnikov had been skating on the top line with Steven Stamkos and Nikita Kucherov. Now that Stamkos is injured, Namestnikov has been seeing time as the center of the top line between Kucherov and Ondrej Palat. Tyler Johnson did steal some time with Kucherov on Saturday, but Namestnikov picked up an assist on a goal by Palat and he was on the top power-play unit. Even if Namestnikov loses that even-strength spot to Johnson in the long term, he will still get chances to play with Alex Killorn, Brayden Point or Jonathan Drouin, so he should still be able to contribute points. It’s a situation worth monitoring. If Johnson is available in your league then I would go after him first because I like his offensive potential more. Keep an eye on Valtteri Filppula, who is owned in 13% of Yahoo leagues, as well because he could see plenty of additional minutes with Stamkos sidelined.

David Perron (STL) - LW, RW - Owned in 12% of Yahoo leagues

Perron wasn’t doing much offensively in 2016-17 aside from his three-goal, four-point effort against Calgary back on Oct. 22. That has changed recently with two goals and four helpers over a four-game point streak. Perron continued his newfound success on Saturday with a goal and six shots versus Nashville. He has moved up the depth chart and he has been skating alongside Paul Stastny and Jaden Schwartz, who has heated up as well. Perron has also been playing on the top power-play unit.

Chad Johnson (CGY) - G - Owned in 12% of Yahoo leagues

Johnson started three games in a row for the Flames because of Brian Elliott’s recent struggles. He turned aside 47 of 48 shots in back-to-back wins against Minnesota and Arizona prior to allowing three goals on 24 shots to Chicago on Friday in a 3-2 loss. Calgary plays four times next week, so Johnson and Elliott could be sharing some playing time until the team sorts out their issues in the crease.

Martin Hanzal (ARI) - C - Owned in 6% of Yahoo leagues

Hanzal returned from a lower-body injury this week and responded with one goal and two assists in three matches. He potted the game winner in overtime against San Jose on Saturday and added a power-play assist. That gives him seven points in 12 appearances. Hanzal also owns a 55.6 winning percentage on 261 faceoffs and he has generated 26 hits. He has been playing between Radim Vrbata and Max Domi on the Coyotes’ top line. Hanzal can bring a lot to the table when he’s healthy, but staying in the lineup has been an issue for him for a long time. He is worthy of a flyer at this time.

Sam Gagner (CBJ) - C, RW - Owned in 5% of Yahoo league

Gagner has racked up four goals and one assist in a four-game point streak. That gives him seven goals and 10 points in 14 matches this campaign. He could be an option in very deep leagues, but his spot as a bottom-six forward suggests that his hot play won’t last even though he has been taking advantage of his opportunities lately.

Brandon Sutter (VAN) - C - Owned in 4% of Yahoo leagues

Sutter stretched his goal-scoring streak to four straight games on Saturday. He has recorded 15 shots and one assist during that span. He has been skating on the top line with Daniel Sedin and Henrik Sedin during his hot streak, which has moved him into third place on the Canucks point list. Sutter has done well in his new role since Jannik Hansen’s injury.
