As I promised last week, the playoffs start in most leagues with three weeks remaining so here is every team’s schedule in the last 21 days.

Arizona – 4,4,3

Boston – 4,4,3

Buffalo-3,3,4

Calgary-3,4,3

Carolina-3,5,4

Chicago-3,4,3

Colorado-3,4,4

Columbus-3,4,4

Dallas-4,4,3

Detroit-4,4,4

Edmonton-4,3,4

Florida-3,4,4

Los Angeles-3,4,4

Minnesota-4,4,3

Montreal-3,3,4

Nashville-3,5,3

New Jersey-4,2,4

NY Islanders-3,4,4

NY Rangers-4,3,3

Ottawa-3,3,5

Philadelphia-4,4,3

Pittsburgh-4,3,4

St. Louis-3,4,4

San Jose-4,4,3

Tampa Bay-3,4,4

Toronto-4,3,5

Vancouver-4,3,4

Washington-3,4,4

Winnipeg-4,2,3

If you have to set your lineup before the start of the playoffs, here is the breakdown.

12 Games – Carolina, Detroit, Toronto

11 Games – Arizona, Boston, Colorado, Columbus, Dallas, Edmonton, Florida, Los Angeles, Minnesota, Nashville, New York Islanders, Ottawa, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, St. Louis, San Jose, Tampa Bay, Vancouver, Washington

10 Games- Anaheim, Buffalo, Calgary, Chicago, Montreal, New Jersey, New York Rangers

9 Games – Winnipeg

When the schedule was released, Toronto was the only team who were playing 12 games but a postponement between Detroit and Carolina forced the game to be played on March 27.

Winnipeg only plays nine times in the last three weeks while in the penultimate week Winnipeg and New Jersey only play twice.

Now to The Week Ahead.

WEEK OF MARCH 13-19

5 Games - Carolina

4 Games -  Arizona, Calgary, Chicago, Colorado, Columbus, Florida, Los Angeles, Minnesota,  New Jersey, New York Islanders, Ottawa, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh,  St. Louis, Tampa Bay, Winnipeg

3 Games – Anaheim, Boston, Buffalo, Dallas, Detroit, Edmonton, Montreal, Nashville, New York Rangers, San Jose, Toronto, Vancouver, Washington

St. Louis plays all four games on the road.

Calgary plays all four games at home.

Arizona, Carolina, Edmonton, Los Angeles, New Jersey, the New York Islanders, Ottawa, Philadelphia and San Jose play three games at home.

Boston, Buffalo, Chicago, Colorado, Columbus, Dallas, Florida, Minnesota and Winnipeg play three games on the road.

INJURIES

Tyler Johnson is day-to-day with a lower body injury. (Click here to see the rest of the injury list.)

Note: A tired team is one that has played the day or night before and is going against a team that did not play the previous day or night. The reverse is true for a rested team.

ANAHEIM

Games this week

vs. St. Louis, vs. Buffalo, @ San Jose

Rested Team: vs. Buffalo (Friday)

Tired Team: @ San Jose (Saturday)

Notes

I’ve written a lot this season about Corey Perry, not much of it good, and has not been a good season to take him in pools as he has only 12 goals this season including only five in his last 37 games. He has gone 10 or more games without a goal three times this season and since you picked him likely in the first three rounds, he has really hurt your fantasy team. Ryan Getzlaf hit the 40 assist mark for the season Tuesday and it was the ninth time in his career that he has done so. Patrick Eaves has two goals and four points in five games thus far with the Ducks. The Ducks hoped to have John Gibson back after  their bye week but he is still not practicing due to a muscle strain.

ARIZONA

Games this week

vs. Colorado, @ Los Angeles, vs. Detroit, vs. St. Louis

Rested Team: vs. Detroit (Thursday)

Tired Team: None

Notes

The Coyotes play four games this week including three games in four nights. Mike Smith should get the call in three games with Louis Domingue playing once. Smith hit the 300 games played mark for Arizona this past week and is closing in on the franchise record of 311 games held by Bob Essensa. The Coyotes are supposedly in the Phoenix area for the short term but could be moving elsewhere if they cannot get public financing to build a new arena either downtown or in the Scottsdale area. It would be a shame as the minor league system is burgeoning with players and it came to fruition this past season when Scottsdale native Auston Matthews was selected first overall in the Draft. Teemu Pulkkinen scored in his only game with Arizona but was made a healthy scratch in the next two games.

BOSTON

Games this week

@ Vancouver, @ Calgary, @ Edmonton

Rested Team: None

Tired Team: @ Edmonton (Friday)

Notes

The Bruins are in Western Canada through Friday before getting the weekend off.  The play three games in four nights and the race is so close in the East, the Bruins may have to go with Tuukka Rask for all three matchups. If not, Anton Khudobin will get one start. I thought that last season was a career year for Brad Marchand with 37 goals and 61 points but he has been even better this season with 32 goals and 70 points with 15 games still to go. The Bruins made a great pick in 2014 when they selected David Pastrnak at 25. He has 27 goals and 57 points in only 60 games. Matt Beleskey has been a healthy scratch in six of the Bruins last ten games.

BUFFALO

Games this week

@ San Jose, @ Los Angeles, @ Anaheim

Rested Team: None

Tired Team: @ Anaheim (Friday)

Notes

Like the Bruins, the Sabres are out West all week but Buffalo is in sunny California. They also play three games in four nights so look for Anders Nilsson to get the start once with Robin Lehner getting the call twice. Jack Eichel is on an 11 game points streak and has 16 points in those games. He has 18 goals and 45 points in 46 games and is tied with Ryan O'Reilly for the team lead in points. O'Reilly leads all NHL forwards in ice time at 21:43. Kyle Okposo is week-to-week with a rib injury. It has not been Nicolas Deslauriers year as he has yet to pick up a point in 34 games.

CALGARY

Games this week

vs. Pittsburgh, vs. Boston, vs. Dallas, vs. Los Angeles

Rested Team: vs. Dallas (Friday)

Tired Team: None

Notes

Calgary is home for all four games. The Flames are the hottest team in the NHL at this time as they are 13-2-1 in their last 16 contests. The trio of Johnny Gaudreau, Sean Monahan and Mikael Backlund have been leading the way as Gaudreau has 13 points in his last eight while Monahan has 10 an Backlund eight. Brian Elliott has taken over as the number one goaltender and he has sparkled of late going 11-1-1 in his last 13 decisions. The Flames picked up a couple of injuries to the blueline on Thursday as Michael Stone left with an upper body injury while Dougie Hamilton left with a lower body injury. Consider both day-to-day.

CAROLINA

Games this week

@ New York Islanders, vs. New York Islanders, vs. Minnesota, vs. Nashville, @ Philadelphia

Rested Team: None

Tired Team: @ Philadelphia (Sunday)

Notes

The Hurricanes get that five game week that helps so many fantasy squads with weekly transactions. Look for Cam Ward to play three times with Eddie Lack tending the net twice. The Canes also play a home-and-home series with the Islanders to start the week and if there is any rough stuff, well, the Hurricanes really do not have anyone to take care of things. Sebastian Aho is one of the unsung rookies in a spectacular crop. He hit the 20 goal mark on Thursday and has 38 points. Jeff Skinner leads the Canes in points with 43, Jaccob Slavin in a plus-15 on a poor Carolina team.

CHICAGO

Games this week

@ Montreal, @ Ottawa. @ Toronto, vs. Colorado

Rested Team: None

Tired Team: None

Notes

The Blackhawks play four games including three games in four nights so look for Jeff Glass to play once with Corey Crawford getting the call thrice. Scott Darling is out another two weeks with an upper body injury. Patrick Kane has been amazingly hot with 11 goals and four assists in nine games before he was shut down on Thursday. Johnny Oduya made his seasonal debut for Chicago on Thursday. Richard Panik has six goals and 14 points in his last 12 games. While Brian Campbell has been surprisingly good with a plus-21, his offense has been weak this season with five goals and 16 points in 64 games.

COLORADO

Games this week

@ Arizona, vs. Detroit, @ Detroit, @ Chicago

Rested Team: None

Tired Team: None

Notes

The Avalanche play four games this week but not three in four nights. Jeremy Smith should still get one start with Calvin Pickard picking up the rest. The Avs play a home-and-home series with Detroit and if there is any rough stuff they may need to rely on Gabriel Landeskog to do the dirty work. It's hard to believe that Nathan MacKinnon has only 14 goals this season even with one each in his last two games as he went the previous 15 without one. Landeskog is not much better as he has 15 goals and 28 points in 56 games. The Avs need more production from players who were selected in the top-two.

COLUMBUS

Games this week

@ Philadelphia, vs. Florida, @ New York Islanders, @ New Jersey

Rested Team: None

Tired Team: @ New Jersey (Sunday)

Notes

The Blue Jackets play four games with three coming in four nights. Sergei Bobrovsky should get the call in three games with Joonas Korpisalo starting once. Bobrovsky is less than 20 minutes away from a Columbus record for a shutout streak as he has gone 179:29 without allowing a puck past him, just short of Steve Mason’s 199:19 set in 2008-09. Bobrovsky gets the chance to establish the record on March 10. Cam Atkinson hit the 30 goal mark on Tuesday. As I said previously, keep an eye on Oliver Bjorkstrand who has played quite well of late. He has four goals and eight points in 15 games this season but is capable of lots more.

DALLAS

Games this week

@ Edmonton, @ Vancouver, @ Calgary

Rested Team: None

Tired Team: @ Calgary (Friday)

Notes

The Stars are in Western Canada this week and play three games in four nights. Kari Lehtonen will likely get the start in two games with Antti Niemi getting the call once but if you have either Dallas goalie on your starting roster, you are asking for trouble. Despite the poor season from the Stars, Tyler Seguin continues to pile up the points as he has 67 in 67 games, including five goals in his last four. Jiri Hudler was a healthy scratch Wednesday, a far cry from the offensive star he was with Calgary just two years ago with 31 goals and 76 points in 78 games. The winger has only three goals and 10 points in an injury-filled 29 games thus far.

DETROIT

Games this week

@ Colorado, @ Arizona, vs. Colorado

Rested Team: None

Tired Team: @ Arizona (Thursday)

Notes

The Red Wings play three games in four nights so look for Jimmy Howard to get the call a couple of times as he has finally returned from a knee injury that kept him out since December 20. Jared Coreau was sent to the minors so Petr Mrazek should start once. The Wings also play Colorado twice this week but they don’t have too many players who will drop the gloves so there may not be any fights. Niklas Kronwall finally scored his first of the season Wednesday. He used to be a fine fantasy defenseman as recently as a couple of years ago but has only nine points in 41 games thus far.

EDMONTON

Games this week

vs. Dallas, vs. Boston, vs. Vancouver

Rested Team: vs. Boston (Thursday)

Tired Team: None

Notes

The Oilers seemed to have made a big mistake when they drafted Ryan Nugent-Hopkins first overall in 2011. They had a chance to take  Adam Larsson, the big defenseman that every team needs but instead are stuck with a 40-50 point center who is a minus. They had to trade Taylor Hall, a forward who is a lot better than Nugent-Hopkins, for Larsson so it was a big, big mistake when they drafted him. After years of having a weak blueline, the Oilers finally have the semblance of a good one with Larsson, Oscar Klefbom and Darnell Nurse on the backend. Leon Draisaitl has 55 points, four shy of Marco Sturm's seasonal record for a German-born player.

FLORIDA

Games this week

vs. Toronto, @ Columbus, @ New York Rangers, @ Pittsburgh

Rested Team: None

Tired Team:@ New York Rangers (Friday)

Notes

The Panthers play four games including three games in four nights. Roberto Luongo did not react well to his first time working out since his lower body injury and is doubtful this week. Therefore James Reimer should see the net three times and Reto Berra will likely get the crease once. The Panthers switched up the lines in practice on Wednesday and Jonathan Huberdeau left the Aleksander Barkov line and played alongside Vincent Trochek and Colton Sceviour while Reilly Smith took Huberdeau's spot with Barkov and Jaromir Jagr. Thomas Vanek scored his first as Panther Tuesday.

LOS ANGELES

Games this week

vs. St. Louis, vs. Arizona, vs. Buffalo, @ Calgary

Rested Team: None

Tired Team: None

Notes

The Kings play four games including three in four nights. Jonathan Quick should get three starts with Ben Bishop playing once, barring any injury to Quick. Quick is 3-0-1 since his return from a groin injury that sidelined him for 59 games. The Jarome Iginla trade paid benefits on Thursday as he popped two goals including the overtime winner. Trevor Lewis scored on the power play for the first time in his career Saturday. The Kings have 15 games remaining and play them in 28 days. That's a lot of hockey. Only three Kings have more than 10 goals and Jeff Carter has 30, Tanner Pearson 22 and Tyler Toffoli has 12. Anze Kopitar has only eight goals and 38 points this season.

MINNESOTA

Games this week

@ Washington, @ Carolina, vs. New York Rangers, @ Winnipeg

Rested Team: vs. New York Rangers (Saturday)

Tired Team: @ Winnipeg (Sunday)

Notes

The Wild play four times this week including three games in four nights so expect to see Darcy Kuemper play once with Devan Dubnyk playing three games. The Wild finish a five game road trip when they return home Saturday to play the Rangers. Christian Folin is out three weeks with an upper body injury. The Wild recalled Gustav Olofsson to replace him. I'm still confused as to why Zach Parise's offensive skills seem to have left him as he has only 15 goals and 29 points in 53 games this season. Defenseman Jared Spurgeon has more points than the forward as Spurgeon has eight goals and 30 points.

MONTREAL

Games this week

vs. Chicago, @ Ottawa, vs. Ottawa

Rested Team: None

Tired Team: None

Notes

The Canadiens play a home-and-home series against the Senators. Montreal picked up a lot of toughness at the trade deadline and look for Andrew Shaw, Steve Ott, and/or Brendan Gallagher to add to their penalty minute totals if there are any fights. Tomas Plekanec is having a horrible offensive season with seven goals and 24 points in 66 games. He had 60 and 54 points in each of his last two seasons and may not hit half that this season if his slumping continues. Carey Price missed Thursday's game with the flu. Alexander Radulov has missed the last three games with a lower body injury but could play this week.

 NASHVILLE

Games this week

vs. Winnipeg, @ Washington, @ Carolina

Rested Team: None

Tired Team: None

Notes

Calle Jarnkrok has two goals and four points on his three game points streak. Viktor Arvidsson had only 16 points in 56 games last season and has 23 goals and 47 points thus far, the biggest jump in points by an NHLer over the past season. Filip Forsberg and Ryan Johansen are tied for the team lead in points with 51. Forsberg leads with 27 goals. I've been impressed with the play of backup goaltender Juuse Saros who could be poised to take over the starting gig in Nashville in the next couple of seasons, has impressed me.

NEW JERSEY

Games this week

vs. Winnipeg, vs. Philadelphia, @ Pittsburgh, vs. Columbus

Rested Team: vs. Winnipeg (Tuesday), vs. Philadelphia (Thursday), vs. Columbus (Sunday)

Tired Team: @ Pittsburgh (Friday)

Notes

The Devils play four games this week including three games in four nights so look for Cory Schneider to play three times with Keith Kinkaid playing once if healthy. If not, Ken Appleby could get a start. Andy Greene will be back this week after missing the last four games due to the death of his father. Our condolences go out to Greene and his family. Mike Cammalleri is out week-to-week with an upper body injury. He has been in a terrible slump since December 3 as he has a goal and 12 assists in 37 games so his absence should not affect your team. Damon Severson is a minus-30 while Kyle Palmieri has 20 goals, the most on the Devils.

NEW YORK ISLANDERS

Games this week

vs. Carolina, @ Carolina,  vs. Winnipeg, vs. Columbuss

Rested Team: None

Tired Team: None

Notes

The Islanders play three games in four nights as part of their four game week so look for Thomas Greiss to play three times with Jean-Francois Berube playing once. The Islanders play a home-and-home series against Carolina this week and if there are any fisticuffs, Travis Hamonic could be in the middle of things. Joshua Ho-Sang scored the first of his NHL career. There should be plenty more in the career of the talented but troubled forward. Josh Bailey had  three assists Thursday and is up to 12 goals and 37 assists in 66 games. he is also a plus-12 this season.

NEW YORK RANGERS

Games this week

vs. Tampa Bay, vs. Florida, @ Minnesota

Rested Team: vs. Florida (Thursday)

Tired Team: vs. Tampa Bay (Monday), @ Minnesota (Saturday)

 Notes

The Rangers have been much better on the road than at home this season but only play once away this week while spending two games at Madison Square Garden. Michael Grabner has missed the last five games with a hip injury and has lost his NHL lead in even strength goals to Auston Matthews of the Maple Leafs who has 26 to Grabner's 25. Rick Nash is day-to-day with an upper body injury but with only 33 points this season and 36 last year, his time of being a star in the NHL may have come to an end. Tanner Glass was recalled from the minors and had a goal and an assist in his second game.

OTTAWA

Games this week

vs. Tampa Bay, vs. Chicago, vs. Montreal, @ Montreal

Rested Team: vs. Tampa Bay (Tuesday)

Tired Team: None

Notes

The Senators play four games this week including three in four nights so expect to see Mike Condon once with Craig Anderson playing three games. Congratulations to Fredrik Claesson who scored his first NHL goal on Wednesday. Kyle Turris should be back this week after missing some action with an injured finger. Erik Karlsson scored twice and had an assist Thursday to give the talented defenseman 13 goals and 61 points this season. He likely won't catch Brent Burns who has 70 points to lead all NHL defensemen, but Karlsson is great offensively.

PHILADELPHIA

Games this week

vs. Columbus, vs. Pittsburgh, @ New Jersey, vs. Carolina

Rested Team: vs. Carolina (Sunday)

Tired Team: @ New Jersey (Thursday)

Notes

The Flyers play four games this week including three in four nights. Steve Mason and Michal Neuvirth will likely share the net. Mason is 3-0-1 in his last four contests. Valtteri Filppula who was dealt to the Flyers at the deadline from Tampa Bay, refused a deal to Toronto as he thought the Maple Leafs might send him to the minors. With Filppula getting second line minutes, Sean Couturier has been dropped to the third unit. Claude Giroux halted a 12 game goalless drought on Tuesday with his 13th of the season. He has only 47 points in 66 games this season, his worst since 2009-10 when he had 47 points in 82 games.

PITTSBURGH

Games this week

@ Calgary, @ Philadelphia, vs. New Jersey, vs. Florida

Rested Team: vs. New Jersey (Friday)

Tired Team: None

Notes

The Penguins play four games this week but  not three games in four nights. Nevertheless, Matt Murray should see action in three games while Marc-Andre Fleury gets the net once. Evgeni Malkin picked up the Gordie Howe hat trick Wednesday while Nick Bonino got a regular one. Malkin hit the 30 goal mark for the sixth time in his career. Evgeni Malkin picked up the Gordie Howe hat trick Wednesday while Nick Bonino got a regular one. Malkin hit the 30 goal mark for the sixth time in his career. Kris Letang is out with an upper body injury that coach Mike Sullivan is a hockey injury. Justin Schultz has scored in each of his last three games.

ST. LOUIS

Games this week

@ Los Angeles, @ Anaheim, @ San Jose, @ Arizona

Rested Team: None

Tired Team: @ San Jose (Thursday)

Notes

The Blues are on the road out West for all four games this week as well as playing three games in four nights. Jake Allen will likely get the cage for three games with Carter Hutton getting the call once. The amazing thing is that the Blues were the worst team in the NHL in save percentage by the time they canned Ken Hitchcock but have been the best in the NHL since at .951. Patrik Berglund has 18 goals this season while Paul Stastny has 17 as well as 37 points. Jaden Schwartz moved up to the top line earlier in the week with Vladimir Tarasenko and Stastny.

SAN JOSE

Games this week

vs. Buffalo, vs. St. Louis, vs. Anaheim

Rested Team: vs. St. Louis (Thursday), vs. Anaheim (Saturday)

Tired Team: None

Notes

Brent Burns had a three assist night Thursday after going a pair of games with nary a point. He is up to 70 points, just five shy of last season's career high. Nice to see Joe Thornton score a goal on Thursday his sixth of the season. He now has three goals into the empty net and finally has three with a goalie in net. Logan Couture has 23 goals with 10 coming on the power play. Martin Jones has 31 victories this season and has not allowed more than two goals in any of his last five contests. Jannik Hansen finally got his visa problems resolved and has extra fantasy value in San Jose as he is playing with Joe Pavelski and Thornton.

TAMPA BAY

Games this week

@ New York Rangers, @ Ottawa, vs. Toronto, vs. Washington

Rested team: @ New York Rangers (Monday)

Tired Team: @ Ottawa (Tuesday)

Notes

The Lightning play three games in four nights as part of their four game week. Andrei Vasilevskiy will get the cage three times with Peter Budaj playing once. Vasilevskiy has really come on of late as he is 4-0-1 in his last five games, giving up seven goals on 170 shots. He is the Lightning's goalie of the future. Tyler Johnson suffered a lower body injury Thursday and is day-to-day. Alex Killorn has not found the back of the net in 12 games. Victor Hedman has 13 goals and 57 points this season. The 57 points are a career high while the 13 markers tie his career best. There is still no timetable for Steven Stamkos' (knee) return although he has been skating with the team.

TORONTO

Games this week

@ Florida, @ Tampa Bay, vs. Chicago

Rested team:  None

Tired Team: None

Notes

Fredrik Andersen has won his last two starts after being winless in his last four contests. The Maple Leafs finally put Alexey Marchenko in against his former Detroit teammates and he potted his first of the season in only seven games. I have been quite disappointed with the regression of Morgan Rielly this season. He has only three goals and 20 assists this season with a minus-22 rating, by far the worst on the Toronto squad. By comparison, Jake Gardiner is a plus-23. William Nylander tied a Leafs rookie record with his ninth power play goal. It may be the last time you hear names like Dan Daoust and Walt Poddubny although Alexander Steen, now with the Blues, also did the trick.

VANCOUVER

Games this week

vs. Boston, vs. Dallas, @ Edmonton

Rested Team: None

Tired Team: None

Notes

It looks like everyone who was suffering from the mumps has returned to the Vancouver lineup. Sven Baertschi is up to 16 goals and with Bo Horvat, the duo are the future of the Canucks. Vancouver does have some highly regarded prospects including Adam Gaudette, Brock Boeser and Olli Juolevi. Loui Eriksson is out a week or two with a lower body injury. He has only 11 goals and 24 points in 65 games. Eriksson was replaced by Nikolay Goldobin on a line with Horvat and Baertschi. Markus Granlund has been playing with the Sedin twins and has five goals and nine points in 14 games.

WASHINGTON

Games this week

vs. Minnesota, vs. Nashville, @ Tampa Bay

Rested team: None

Tired Team: None

Notes

Braden Holtby has had a couple of poor games in a row as he was pulled on Monday against the Stars after giving up three goals on 11 shots and was not much better on Thursday when he gave up four goals on 21 shots. That's eight goals on 32 shots and that sounds more like a lacrosse goalie than an NHL one. Still, he has a GAA of 1.97. Andre Burakovsky has missed the last 11 games. It has been 16 games since Alex Ovechkin has scored an even strength goal. Nicklas Backstrom is up to 67 points this season with 25 points coming on the power play.

WINNIPEG

Games this week

@ Nashville, @ New Jersey, @ New York Islanders, vs. Minnesota

Rested team: vs. Minnesota (Sunday)

Tired Team: @ New Jersey (Tuesday)

Notes

The Jets play three games in four nights as part of a four game week. Connor Hellebuyck should play at least twice and maybe three times with Michael Hutchinson getting the remainder of the starts. Ondrej Pavelec may be gone for the remainder of the regular season after undergoing a knee scope Monday. Nikolaj Ehlers has three goals and seven points in his last six games. Toby Enstrom is out for a while with facial fractures after he was hit into the boards by Tom Sistito of the Penguins Wednesday. Josh Morrissey has four goals and 17 points in 68 games as well as a plus-eight rating. He is worth looking at in deeper formats.
