Thursday's Pickups of the Day

Updated On: October 4, 2018, 4:04 pm ET

Bobby Portis is free! He won't be starting, but he will likely be closing. This team needs offense, so expect a lot of points after his career-high 38 on Thursday. Also, guys like Aaron Gordon returned, so make sure they're owned.

Not much to like on the Cavs, by the way. It'll probably be a bumpy ride besides LeBron James.

Tomas Satoransky - Has to be owned.

Kelly Oubre - I still believe he will be awesome over the next month.

David Nwaba - Career-high 21 points before fouling out. Won't be this good and Justin Holiday won't be DNP-CD every game, but Nwaba is Hoiberg's guy.

Emmanuel Mudiay - I still think I'd take him over Burke, but it's close.

Trey Burke - Hornacek likes him, but Ntilikina has to play more at some point, right?

Mario Hezonja - Getting SF minutes, so that's big for him.

Skal Labissiere - Actually looked OK, but he's like Marquese Chriss with consistency.

Denzel Valentine - Looked good early, but folded very late. Could hurt his minutes next time.

Dante Cunningham - I can't do it, but maybe he won't fall off when RHJ returns.

Cameron Payne - He looked OK and maybe he can see minutes in the low 20s.

Frank Mason - Clearly had a minutes cap.

Cristiano Felicio - Not much upside.

Garrett Temple - Will probably rest at some point, so that caps his upside big time.
