Now let’s move on to the NBA DFS Plays for Monday!
Eric Bledsoe – Milwaukee (vs Toronto)
In case you haven’t heard, Giannis Antetokounmpo has been ruled out for tonight’s game vs Toronto. That creates a huge usage void for Milwaukee, and Eric Bledsoe figures to pick up some of the slack. Bledsoe’s recent fantasy production has been abbreviated due to less minutes in back-to-back blowout situations. However, he owns a fantastic fantasy point per minute ratio near 1.20. If we extrapolate that to a full 35 minute workload, that’s a raw projection of 42 fantasy points. This is a competitive matchup vs Toronto, and Bledsoe has upside beyond that with Giannis out.
Khris Middleton – Milwaukee (vs Toronto)
Bledsoe and Middleton are the most prominent beneficiaries of Giannis Antetkounmpo’s absence. You’ll want to strongly consider both of them on DraftKings and FanDuel through all formats this evening. As mentioned earlier, this is expected to be a competitive matchup vs Toronto. The absence of Kawhi Leonard on the other side could help Middleton find fantasy production in easier matchups. Similar to his teammate, Bledsoe, Middleton has been an efficient fantasy producer this season. He’ll get a strong boost across the board tonight with Giannis out, and a projection of 40-45 FP seems likely.
Nikola Mirotic – New Orleans (at Denver)
More injury news: Anthony Davis is out tonight. At least we are getting this information in the afternoon, allowing us to make proper adjustments without scrambling before tip-off. Nikola Mirotic has been fantastic this season, and his role will likely expand with more shot attempts, rebounds, usage, and overall fantasy production with AD out. This is a high-scoring, competitive tilt at Denver that should bring the best out of Mirotic.
Pascal Siakam – Toronto (at Milwaukee)
As I briefly mentioned earlier, Kawhi Leonard is another superstar who is sitting out tonight. That should help solidify minutes and usage for Siakam, who saw 37 minutes in his previous game vs Dallas. The Toronto forward is still cheap on both sites ($4400 on FD / $3900 on DK) to be considered through all formats. He’s a strong value play that will allow you to lock in the other primary plays mentioned in this article.
Julius Randle – New Orleans (at Denver)
Julius Randle is another direct beneficiary of Anthony Davis’ absence. He should see plenty of minutes in a high-scoring matchup at Denver this evening. Randle has always been a strong FP/minute producer, but a role around 20 minutes usually limited his upside. That concern will obviously be lifted while the Pelicans will need him to fill in for AD. Randle could see 30+ minutes in this game, which makes him a fantastic play for the price through all formats on both sites.
