NHL Plays will highlight the best and the most underrated daily fantasy options among forwards, defensemen and goaltenders.
Please note, these players were chosen early in the day, so make sure to check Rotoworld’s player news for any lineup changes, injuries and potential changes in the crease for starting goaltenders.
Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 4W, 2D, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL). Yahoo has a $200 cap for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 2G).

There are only three games in the NHL on Sunday.
Anze Kopitar (Los Angeles) - C - $7,300 (FanDuel), $5,200 (DraftKings) $22 (Yahoo)
Kopitar is a great bargain in DraftKings. He is off to a great start with two goals and seven points in only four games after a 60-point season last year. Kopitar has been the Kings stud center for over a decade and there is no reason to think that won’t continue this year.
Patrik Laine (Winnipeg) - W - $7,900 (FanDuel), $7,300 (DraftKings) $22 (Yahoo)
Laine is a real bargain in Yahoo pools. He has three goals and seven assists in five games this season and looks to be the player he was in the first two years and two months of his NHL career, rather than the slumping forward in his last four months of the 2018-19 season. He should be a must-start.
Johnny Gaudreau (Calgary) - C - $7,700 (FanDuel), $7,000 (DraftKings), $30 (Yahoo)
Gaudreau is one of the top talents in the NHL and plays in his 400th NHL game tonight. He is off to a good start with three goals and seven points in five games and could pour it on against a suspect San Jose defense.
Bargain Bin: Timo Meier (San Jose) - W - $5,700 (FanDuel)/$5,700 (DraftKings)/ $20 (Yahoo) , Paul Stastny (Vegas) - C - $4,800 (FanDuel)/$4,200 (DraftKings)/ $18 (Yahoo) , Elias Lindholm (Calgary) - $5,700 (FanDuel)/$5,200 (DraftKings)/ $21 (Yahoo) Carl Grundstrom -W- (Los Angeles) - $3,000 (FanDuel)/$3,300 (DraftKings) /$11 (Yahoo)
Josh Morrissey (Winnipeg) - $4,500 (FanDuel), $4,500 (DraftKings), $18 (Yahoo)
The Jets have been decimated on the blueline due to trades, free agency and a suspension (Dustin Byfuglien is still contemplating retirement). Morrissey is now the top dog in Winnipeg and will quarterback the power play. With offensive studs like Mark Scheifele, Blake Wheeler, Patrik Laine and Kyle Connor, the Jets power play looks potent with Morrissey back there. He has three assists in four games thus far.
Kris Letang (Pittsburgh) - $7,100 (FanDuel), $6,400 (DraftKings), $25 (Yahoo)
Letang has a five-game points streak and has two goals and six points thus far, including a goal and two assists on the power play. The Penguins power play runs through Letang who has always been a high scorer when healthy.
Cam Talbot (Calgary) - $7,300 (FanDuel), $7,300 (DraftKings), $28 (Yahoo)
The Flames have been floundering and could come out of their slump against the Sharks. Talbot is expected to make his seasonal debut Sunday and he obviously wants to give the Flames some solid goalkeeping after they signed him as a UFA in the off-season.
Oscar Dansk (Vegas)- $6,500 (DraftKings)/$39 (Yahoo)
