This sucks, you guys. Chris Paul is going to miss a lot of time with a shoulder injury and he gets added to a laundry list of players who have suffered a major injury. Here's are some of the guys worth a look in fantasy leagues:
Darren Collison - Chris Paul is going to be out for a while and it will be the Darren Collison show. He was spectacular in the preseason and should have no problem getting it going this year. He's a must-own guy.
Terrence Ross - He keeps playing well and has quietly been one of the most improved sophomores. Well, expect it to continue in fantasy. Ross keeps hitting treys and finished with 14 points, three boards, two assists, two steals, one block and four 3-pointers.
Editor's Note: Rotoworld's partner FanDuel is hosting a one-day $40,000 Fantasy Basketball league for Saturday night's games. It's $25 to join and first prize is $5,000. Starts at 7pm ET on Saturday. Here's the FanDuel link.
Brandan Wright - He should be owned in almost all leagues after his improved play. His jumper is phenomenal and he could really turn into a nice offensive guy. Of course, the blocks are going to come around soon.
Jodie Meeks - The Lakers are going to continue to play him huge minutes. Meek had 18 points, three boards, six assists, one steal and three 3-pointers. He played some point guard in his Kentucky days, so these massive minutes are for real.
DeMarre Carroll - The Hawks aren't playing him at power forward or anything, but he had 12 points, seven boards, one assist, four steals and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes.
Kendall Marshall - I can't believe how great he was to start, especially since he's failed at almost every professional level until now. Marshall had 20 points, six assists, 15 assists and two 3-pointers.
Iman Shumpert - I'm still not sold. He was so bad for a prolonged period of time and he's just suddenly hitting tons of 3-pointers. Shump finished with 26 points, four boards, five assists, one steal and six 3-pointers.
Kenneth Faried - Of course he blows up with 29 minutes. Faried had 16 points, six boards and one assist.
Trevor Booker - He has a handful of good games going now and the Wizards might keep Nene at bay-bay for a while. Booker had eight points, 13 boards, two assists and two steals in 32 minutes.
Brandon Bass - The Celtics are a mess up front right now. Bass was hot for a change with 16 points, 11 boards and one block in 35 minutes.
Kris Humphries - He was the first big man off the bench finishing with seven points, 12 boards, three assists, one block and one turnover.
Randy Foye -He's an interesting add with Andre Miller out on Sunday. Foye had 13 points, seven boards, four assists and two 3-pointers.
Shelvin Mack - He is playing some solid ball and still found minutes with the Hawks getting DeMarre Carroll back. He finished with 15 points, four assist, three steals and one 3-pointer.
Pero Antic - He had his best game as a pro with 16 points, seven boards, one steal and four 3-pointers.
Nate Robinson - He played 23 minutes and had 15 points, two boards, seven assists, one steal and three 3-pointers.
Mike Scott - His numbers really fell off with the return of DeMarre Carroll. Scott finished with 12 points, three boards, one assist, one steal and one 3-pointer. For whatever reason, the Hawks play him like a small forward.
Robert Sacre - He started and the Lakers might stick with him. Sacre finished with four points, 10 boards and one block.
Greg Stiemsma - Stiemer got hot with 12 points on 6-of-7 shooting with three rebounds and a block. Jason Smith shouldn't be out too long, though.
Alexis Ajinca - He started. Who cares?
