NHL Plays will highlight the best and the most underrated daily fantasy options among forwards, defensemen and goaltenders.
Please note, these players were chosen early in the day, so make sure to check Rotoworld’s player news for any lineup changes, injuries and potential changes in the crease for starting goaltenders.
Additionally, it is worth reminding everyone that FanDuel allows you to roster nine players (2C, 4W, 2D, 1G) with a salary cap of $55,000, while DraftKings has a cap of $50,000 for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 1G, 1UTIL). Yahoo has a $200 cap for nine players (2C, 3W, 2D, 2G).

There are four games in the NHL on Monday.
Connor McDavid (Edmonton) - C - $8,700 (FanDuel), $7,900 (DraftKings) $35 (Yahoo)
McDavid saw his four-game points streak end in Pittsburgh Saturday but the Oilers return home this week after spending last week on the road. McDavid has 23 points in 15 games this season and you can’t go wrong having the best player in the world in your fantasy lineup.
Filip Forsberg (Nashville) - W - $7,400 (FanDuel), $7,300 (DraftKings) $22 (Yahoo)
Forsberg returned to action on Thursday after missing a couple of weeks with a lower-body injury. He has five goals and nine points in eight games thus far and faces lowly Detroit on Monday. He is a better move in FanDuel and Yahoo than in DraftKings where he is highly priced.
Anthony Mantha (Detroit) - W - $6,700 (FanDuel), $6,100(DraftKings), $23 (Yahoo)
Mantha got off to a great start this season and while he has slowed down, he did manage to score a couple of goals Friday in Carolina to give him nine in 15 games. Mantha has four on the power play and his 14 points in 15 games gives him plenty of upside in DFS.
Bargain Bin: James Neal (Edmonton) - W - $5,600 (FanDuel)/$6,000 (DraftKings)/ $22 (Yahoo) , Alex Galchenyuk (Pittsburgh) - W - $4,700 (FanDuel)/$4,200 (DraftKings)/ $14 (Yahoo) , Conor Garland (Arizona) -W- $4,000 (FanDuel)/$5,200 (DraftKings)/ $17 (Yahoo) Nick Schmaltz -C- (Arizona) - $5,300 (FanDuel)/$4,900 (DraftKings) /$17 (Yahoo)
Roman Josi (Nashville) - $6,600 (FanDuel), $6,700 (DraftKings), $25 (Yahoo)
Josi is tied for the Nashville lead in points with 14 with fellow blueliner Ryan Ellis. Josi has been a stud offensively the last five seasons, missing the 50-point mark only once in that span when he had 49 in 2016-17 despite missing 10 games to injury.
Tony DeAngelo (New York Rangers) - $4,600 (FanDuel), $4,700 (DraftKings), $18 (Yahoo)
DeAngelo has taken over quarterbacking the Rangers first power play from Jacob Trouba and New York could get Mika Zibanejad back to improve the top unit even more. DeAngelo has been held off the scoresheet the last two games but had three goals and six points in his three previous games. The Senators have struggled this season and provide a good spot to turn things around again.
Ethan Bear (Edmonton) - $3,600 (FanDuel)/$3,500 (DraftKings)/ $10 (Yahoo) Filip Hronek (Detroit) - $4,200 (FanDuel), $4,600 (DraftKings)/ $16 (Yahoo) Jakob Chychrun (Arizona) - $3,600 (FanDuel), $4,200 (DraftKings)/ $16 (Yahoo)
Pekka Rinne (Nashville) - $8,500 (FanDuel), $7,800 (DraftKings), $40 (Yahoo)
Rinne is coming off his worst performance of the season, giving up six goals on 27 shots in an overtime loss to Calgary. Despite the poor outing, Rinne is still 7-0-2 with a sparkling 2.19 GAA and a .920 save percentage. Look for him to turn it around against Detroit.
