Nov. 25-Dec. 1

Great Options

Tuukka Rask – Boston Bruins

Schedule: Tue at MTL, Wed at OTT, Fri vs. NYR, Sun vs. MTL

Rask heads into this weekend without a regulation loss in his last four games. He’s also won 10 of his 14 starts and he’s allowed two goals or fewer in each of his last three outings. Rask’s fantasy value will depend on how many starts he makes this week (it could be two or three).

Jordan Binnington – St. Louis Blues:

Schedule: Mon at NSH, Wed at TB, Fri at DAL, Sat vs. PIT

Alright, the Blues’ schedule is far from a cakewalk next week, but Binnington’s been terrific this season. The 26-year-old has an 11-3-4 record with a 2.19 goals-against-average and a .926 save percentage. He’ll get three opportunities to earn you some fantasy points.

Marc-Andre Fleury – Vegas Golden Knights

Schedule: Mon at DAL, Wed at NSH, Fri vs. ARZ

Fleury hasn’t lost in regulation since he allowed five goals in a loss to Chicago on Nov. 13. He owns an 11-5-2 record with a 2.45 goals-against-average and a .922 save percentage. Fleury continues to impress as he gets older.

Carey Price – Montreal Canadiens

Schedule: Tue vs. BOS, Thu vs. NJ, Sat vs. PHI, Sun at BOS

The Habs enter this weekend’s action riding a three-game losing streak, but Price will get plenty of work over the next week. Also, he could realistically play the first three games of the week, which are all at the Bell Center. He’s a strong play.

Good Options

Thomas Greiss – New York Islanders

Schedule: Mon at ANA, Wed at LAK, Sat vs. CBJ

The Islanders have been rotating Greiss and Semyon Varlamov game-to-game. If that holds true next week, it means that Greiss will make two of the three starts. The 33-year-old owns an impressive 9-1-0 record this season and that only loss came on Oct. 11. He’ll be a strong fantasy play if the Islanders keep using their goalies the same way they have been all season.

Frederik Andersen – Toronto Maple Leafs:

Schedule: Wed at DET, Fri at BUF, Sat vs. BUF

Last week, Andersen was on our “bad options” list because the Leafs were struggling badly. Since then, Toronto has made a coaching change and it seems to have given the entire team some new life. Andersen will likely make two starts against bad teams next week. He’s a good play.

Braden Holtby – Washington Capitals

Schedule: Wed vs. FLA, Fri vs. WSH, Sat at DET

Don’t be surprised if Holtby starts the two home games against Florida and Washington next week. His personal seven-game winning streak came to an end Wednesday night against the Rangers, but he should be able to get back in the win column next week.

Matt Murray – Pittsburgh Penguins

Schedule: Mon vs. CGY, Wed vs. VAN, Fri at CBJ, Sat at STL

The Pens get to open up the week against the struggling Flames, which is a nice fantasy boost for Murray. The 25-year-old has dropped four games in a row, but three of them have come in overtime. He was given the night off on Friday against the Devils, so he should be fresh for a week full of action.

Bad Options

Jimmy Howard – Detroit Red Wings

Schedule: Wed vs. TOR, Fri vs. PHI, Sat vs. WSH

Howard called himself out by saying he needs to make some saves for his team. He hasn’t been good at all so far, but the team in front of him isn’t playing well either. You need to have a better fantasy option between the pipes.

Robin Lehner – Chicago Blackhawks

Schedule: Tue vs. DAL, Fri vs. COL, Sat at COL

The Blackhawks rotate their goalies from game-to-game just like the Islanders do, which means Lehner should play one game while Crawford plays two next week. It doesn’t matter who is between the pipes for the Hawks, they have a brutal schedule next week.
