Feb. 17-23

Great Options

Andrei Vasilevskiy – Tampa Bay Lightning

Schedule: Mon at COL, Thu at VGK, Sat at ARZ

Vasilevskiy has been amazing. He’s won seven games in a row and he hasn’t dropped a game in regulation since Dec. 14. Even though the Bolts will be on the road all week, they’ll still find a way to collect victories.

Connor Hellebuyck – Winnipeg Jets

Schedule: Tue vs. LAK, Thu at OTT, Sat at PHI

Hellebuyck has dropped back-to-back games to San Jose and the New York Rangers. The Jets are battling for a playoff spot and they’ll have an opportunity to play two bad teams in Ottawa and Los Angeles.

Jordan Binnington – St. Louis Blues

Schedule: Tue vs. NJ, Thu vs. ARZ, Fri at DAL, Sun at MIN

Binnington is coming into this week on a cold streak. He’s dropped four of his last five games and he’s given up at least three goals in each of his last eight contests. He has a 24-10-7 record with a 2.74 goals-against-average and a .909 save percentage.

Braden Holtby – Washington Capitals

Schedule: Mon at VGK, Thu vs. MTL, Sat at NJ, Sun vs. PIT

Holtby has been in and out of various funks throughout the season. The fact that he’s a pending unrestricted free agent could be weighing on him. He has a 21-11-4 record with a 3.14 goals-against-average and a .896 save percentage.

Good Options

Tuukka Rask – Boston Bruins

Schedule: Wed. at EDM, Fri at CGY, Sat at VAN

The Bruins are hitting the road, but their starting netminder has won six of his last seven games. Boston is an elite team and Rask should continue having strong fantasy value next week and beyond.

Sergei Bobrovsky – Florida Panthers

Schedule: Mon at SJ, Wed at ANA, Thu at LAK, Sat at VGK

Bobrovsky will head into next week riding a four-game losing streak. The Panthers will head to the West Coast in search of points. He has a 20-17-5 record with a 3.32 goals-against-average and a .896 save percentage this season.

Carter Hart – Philadelphia Flyers

Schedule: Tue vs. CBJ, Thu at CBJ, Sat vs. WPG

Hart has won each of his last two appearances (both against Florida). He’s given up just three goals in those two outings. Two matchups against the Blue Jackets will be difficult, but the Flyers need every point they can get if they want to make the playoffs. They’ll need their goalie to play at a high level.

Bad Options

Carter Hutton – Buffalo Sabres

Schedule: Tue at OTT, Sat at PIT, Sun vs. WPG

Hutton comes into this week having won three games in a row, but don’t expect the Sabres to continue rolling. He has a 10-9-4 record with a 3.17 goals-against-average and a .896 save percentage this season.

Devan Dubnyk – Minnesota Wild

Schedule: Wed at VAN, Fri at EDM, Sun vs. STL

The Wild have fired coach Bruce Boudreau, traded away Jason Zucker, and more moves should continue coming. Even though GM Bill Guerin has the right intentions, it’s tough to envision this team getting hot and making the playoffs.
