Tuesday's Pickups of the Day

Wes Johnson- A nice source of defensive stats and triples while Blake Griffin is out (1.2 steals, 1.2 blocks and 1.1 triples in 12 previous starts).

Jawun Evans- He’s one of my favorite pickups of the night. Evans is averaging 12.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 2.5 steals in his last two starts and it’s unclear how soon Milos Teodosic will be back.

C.J. Williams- He had a monster game with 15 points, three rebounds, two assists, four steals, two blocks and four triples, but his production has been all over the place. Just monitor him in deeper leagues.

Tyrone Wallace- He’s impressive for a player that has just two NBA games under his belt. I like him more than C.J. Williams and he could be interesting while Austin Rivers is out.

John Collins- If somebody drops him after his dud tonight, pick him up because he’s a high-upside stash. I’m confident that he will be unleashed soon.

Dewayne Dedmon- He’s a quality player that will get the job done in two-center leagues as long he gets his 20+ minutes.

John Henson- He’s still widely available in a lot of leagues and the Bucks have three more games this week. They are expected to upgrade their center position at the trade deadline, though.

Domantas Sabonis- He should be owned everywhere, though he did tweak his wrist Monday.

Jarrett Allen- He continues to produce, but he’s more of a stash until the minutes trend up.

Caris LeVert- Despite the bad game, he’s a must-own player in all formats.

Allen Crabbe- He’s worth owning if you need triples and can stomach his horrible FG% and inconsistency.

Joe Harris- He’s played really well for the past couple weeks and is a big winner while DeMarre Carroll is out.

Delon Wright- Kyle Lowry could barely walk after his hard fall, but Wright was a solid pickup before the Lowry injury.

Tyus Jones- He’ll continue to have low-end value until Jeff Teague is back.

Ish Smith- He’s probably no longer available in competitive leagues.

Gerald Green- He’s been one of the best fantasy pickups over the last 1.5 weeks. James Harden could be out a long time.

Bobby Portis- He had a big game with Mirotic (illness) out, but keep in mind that Mirotic is expected to be traded soon after Jan. 15.

Denzel Valentine- He’s been a lot more consistent lately and is a nice source of 3s, dimes and steals.

Davis Bertans- He had one of the lines of the night with 28 points and six treys, and he’s been much more involved since the new year.

Bogdan Bogdanovic- Not only is he a solid scorer, but he also has 5+ assists in five out of his last six games.

De’Aaron Fox- His floor is obviously a lot higher when he’s the only active PG.

Trey Lyles- He’s been a mid-round fantasy value for the past month.

Jordan Bell- As long as he hangs around 20 minutes, I’ll keep stashing the per-minute monster.
