Wednesday's Pickups of the Day

Well, things got even messier for the Lakers on Tuesday. Jodie Meeks going down totally threw a wrench in the rotation and it led to some surprising moves. This was going to be a big day to help us on how things will go, but we're even less in the know.

One thing I'll be trying to do is trade for Jodie Meeks. If you can trade for him on the cheap, it makes a lot of sense. He should get his minutes regardless. Well, here goes this mess.

Markieff Morris - His 30 minutes tonight were a great sign, but not much else is encouraging. Morris had 12 points, five boards, two steals, two blocks and one 3-pointer.

Steve Blake - He played big minutes and did everything except score. Blake had five boards, six assists and three steals.

Robert Sacre - I guess he's a strong add with the Jordan Hill injury. Ugh.

Mike Scott - He scored 15 points, but he's not going much else.

Elton Brand - The aging veteran played very well, but he's still hurt too much to be relied upon in most leagues.

Wes Johnson - Jodie Meeks going down should open up a lot of minutes for Wes on the wing.

Steve Nash - He was much better than expected, but I definitely would not cut anyone with value.

Danny Granger - Lance Stephenson seems like he's going to be fine.

Manny Harris - The Lakers have a decision on their hands.
