Wednesday's PUDs

Wednesday’s pickups of the day were few and far between, but there were some interesting things to note, like Marvin Williams and Lou Amundson.

Reggie Jackson – Pistons – PG – Jax went off for 23 points and a career-high 20 assists on Tuesday. He must really love St. Patrick’s Day, and should already be owned in your league.

Ersan Ilyasova – Bucks – F – EI had 15 points, eight boards and three 3-pointers on 6-of-15 shooting in 36 minutes on Tuesday. It’s time.

Zaza Pachulia – Bucks – C – Pachulia had 11 points, 11 rebounds, two steals and a block on Tuesday. He’s locked in as the starting center in Milwaukee. John Henson had 14 points, seven rebound and four blocks in 24 minutes off the bench, but those minutes may not happen again.

Louis Amundson – Knicks – PF/C – Amundson started and had 12 points, a season-high 17 rebounds and two assists for the Knicks. He hit 5-of-11 shots and the Knicks are terrible, but Lou is still only worth a close look in fantasy, as he had just two points and four boards in his previous game.

Langston Galloway – Knicks - Guard – Gallo blew up for 22 points, four boards, four assists, a steal and two 3-pointers on 10-of-18 shots on Tuesday. I have no idea if he’ll keep it going, but I like him.

Marvin Williams – Hornets – PF – Marvin bounced back with 10 points, 11 boards, a steal and a 3-pointer on 4-of-10 shooting. He sucked on Monday, but bounced back tonight, and is always worth a look as long as Cody Zeller is out.

Gerald Henderson – Hornets – G/F – Hendo bounced back from an awful night with 16 points, one rebound, four assists and two steals on 5-of-13 shooting in 37 minutes. He stunk on Monday, but bounced back on Tuesday.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope – Pistons – SG – KCP got hot on Tuesday with 24 points and two 3-pointers on 10-of-16 shooting. Now let’s see him do it again.

Marco Belinelli – Spurs – SG – Manu Ginobili is down, so Bello is going to see some run. He had 12 points, four boards, two steals and a 3-pointer, and could be even better from here on out.

Beno Udrih – Grizzlies – PG – Beno started again for Mike Conley (ankle) and had nine points, four boards, nine assists and a block in 30 minutes. Conley should be considered day-to-day going forward, and Udrih only has value if Conley is going to miss more time.  Conley is questionable for Sunday.

Anthony Tolliver – Pistons – F – Tolliver started on Tuesday and had 15 points, seven rebounds, one steal and four 3-pointers starting in place of Greg Monroe (right knee) on Tuesday. Monroe is expected back on Wednesday, so Tolliver looks like a flash in pan.
