Wednesday's PUDs

Andrew Bogut – Warriors – Bogut went nuts against the Pelicans, racking up eight points, eight boards, a steal and nine blocks! There’s no telling when he’ll play well again, or if he will play in the next one, but at least put him on your radar.

Gerald Henderson – Hornets – Hendo hit 11-of-18 shots and two 3-pointers for 29 points, three boards and an assist. He won’t do much besides score, so tread carefully with him.

Mike Muscala – Hawks – Muscala started for Paul Millsap, who should miss another game or two with his shoulder injury, and hit 7-of-8 shots for 16 points, seven rebounds, four steals and a block on Tuesday. If Muscala continues to start, he could be an interesting fantasy play.

Marvin Williams – Hornets – Williams started again on Tuesday and hit just 4-of-11 shots for eight points, but also had 13 rebounds, a steal and a block. He’s usually good for some 3-pointers, but didn’t hit one tonight. With Cody Zeller out, Marvin’s a decent fantasy play.

Justin Hamilton – Wolves – Hamilton made another start and while he didn’t exactly fill it up, he did have four points, four rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks. With Nikola Pekovic done for the year and Gorgui Dieng still hurting from a concussion, Hamilton is at least worth owning.

Quincy Pondexter – Pelicans – QP went off for 20 points and four 3-pointers on 6-of-7 shooting Tuesday. Ryan Anderson is back and playing well, but QP is getting starts right now.

Bismack Biyombo – Hornets – Al Jefferson was out with a sore knee and Biyombo had 12 points, 12 boards, two steals and four blocks in the loss. As long as Jefferson is out, BB is worth a look if you need a big man.

Brandan Wright – Suns – Wright started again for Alex Len and had eight points, six boards and two blocks in 28 minutes in a loss to the Hawks. The Suns were terrible in this one, but Wright should be grabbed if you need a center, because Alex Len is out for a few days with a broken nose that required surgery.

Derrick Williams – Kings – Williams went off for 18 points, eight rebounds and a block on 8-of-12 shooting on Tuesday. Apparently, George Karl’s calling out of Williams by saying a Coke machine could get more rebounds was an effective tactic.

Gerald Green – Suns – Green had 15 points and two 3-pointers on Tuesday after going for 24 points on Saturday. With the Suns all but eliminated, maybe it’s time for Green to shine.

James Ennis – Heat – Ennis played 26 minutes off the bench and had nine points, five boards, a block and two 3-pointers for the Heat. He looks a lot better as a starter, but has been playing well for the Heat.

Tarik Black, Wes Johnson, Jeremy Lin & Jordan Clarkson – Black had 16 points and nine rebounds, Johnson had 15 points, three 3-pointers and six boards, Lin had 14 points, five dimes and two 3-pointers, and Clarkson scored 20 with six assists, four rebounds and a 3-pointer. All of these guys are worth a look and none of them are fully trustworthy.
