Hits

Los Angeles' Jarret Stoll led the hit parade with 23 credited body checks in four outings.  He also contributed two assists, five blocks and won 39 of 65 faceoffs.  Stoll is second among the Kings' forward group with 193 hits in 71 contests this season.  Boston power forward Milan Lucic threw his weight around in four games last week.  He picked up 20 hits to give him a total of 232 on the year.  Lucic is one of only two players ranked in the top 10 for hits who also has at least 20 goals and over 50 points.  St. Louis' David Backes is the other.  Ottawa defenseman Jared Cowen and San Jose winger Tommy Wingels registered 19 hits apiece last week over four games for their respective clubs.  Cowen also chipped in with six blocks and a goal.  He has amassed 214 body collisions in 68 games this campaign.  Wingels is tops among the Sharks with 201 hits in 71 matches in 2013-14.

Blocks

Calgary blueliner Kris Russell racked up 22 blocks in four games.  He ranks second on the Flames with 177 shot defenses this year.  Winnipeg rookie Jacob Trouba stopped 12 pucks in three contests last week.  The 20-year-old defenseman has a bright future ahead of him and he should be able to help out your fantasy squad in several categories.  He has 26 points, 95 hits, 117 blocks and a plus-3 rating in 58 appearances this season.  Michael Stone of the Phoenix Coyotes had 12 blocks over four games this past week.  He has skated in a career high 64 contests this year and he's amassed 142 hits and 103 blocks.  David Backes led all forwards with seven shot blocks in three outings.  He also collected 13 hits and six points.

Draws

Patrice Bergeron amassed five goals and one assist in four games en route to the second star of the week honor.  He was also great in the faceoff circle, where he won 53 of the 94 draws he took.  He earned a 71.4% success rate against Chicago on Thursday and scored two goals in the contest.  Bergeron also chipped in two hits and four blocks this past week.  He sits third in the league among the NHL's faceoff leaders with an impressive 58.7 win rate.  Jonathan Toews led the way in faceoff wins last week by taking 57 of 82 draws from the opposition in four games.  He was especially impressive in Tuesday's game versus Dallas when he won 23 draws and lost only five.  The Blackhawks center owns a 57.2 winning percentage on the year, which ranks him sixth overall in the league.  Toews was injured in Sunday's game against Pittsburgh and his status is still uncertain at this time.  Nashville's Mike Fisher won 53 puck drops and lost 32 in four appearances for the period ending Mar. 30.  He also recorded four assists and 10 hits.  He has taken the second-most faceoffs on the Predators this season, at 1,048, and he's won 51% of them.  Philadelphia center Claude Giroux won 51 of 90 draws last week in four matches.  The talented center also registered a goal, three assists, eight hits and two blocked shots.
