Patric HornqvistEven though the Penguins acquired right winger Phil Kessel from Toronto in a June trade to presumambly play alongside Sidney Crosby, Patric Hornqvist is still going to have a very strong season on the Pens' second line flanking Evgeni Malkin. In only 64 games last season, Hornqvist tallied 25 goals and registered 51 points, good for 0.8 points per game. We believe he do better than that this season will a full year in PIttsburgh under his belt and playing on the team's first power play in place of Chris Kunitz. Hornqvist was among the NHL shot leaders per games played which bodes well for his potential scoring totals. With the opponent's checking line focussing its attention on Crosby and Kessel, the Malkin/Hornqvist paring will flourish in 2015-16.
