Keegan Kolesar scored twice on Saturday, ending a two-game point drought, which might not be significant, except to say that it was his longest slump of the season.  The Columbus Blue Jackets prospect has 12 goals and 24 points in 17 contests.  With an assist on Saturday, Luke Philp extended his point streak to eight games.  The 20-year-old has 11 goals and 27 points in 19 games with the Kootenay Ice.  Kailer Yamamoto has recorded at least two points in three of his last four contests.  That’s brought the Spokane Chiefs forward up to five goals and 23 points in 18 contests in 2015-16.  Noah Gregor scored twice on Saturday to extend his goal scoring streak to three games.  He has eight goals and 22 points in 18 contests.

Will Bitten scored three goals and seven points in three games played on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  The 17-year-old has 10 goals and 13 assists in 17 contests with the Flint Firebirds.  Spencer Watson has only been held off the scoresheet once in his last six games.  That’s brought him up to 12 goals and 23 points in 19 contests.  He was taken by the Los Angeles Kings with the 209th overall pick in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.  Dylan Strome has been on fire so far this month with two goals and eight assists in just three games.  He has six goals and 26 points in 13 contests with the Erie Otters as he remains a huge part of their offense post-Connor McDavid.  He’s not the Otters’ most prolific scorer this season though.  That title belongs to Alex DeBrincat, who leagues the lead with 25 goals and 35 points in 16 contests.  The 17-year-old forward had 104 points as a rookie last season.

Quebec Major Junior Hockey League

Conor Garland has played in 16 games this season and he hasn’t been held off the scoresheet yet.  In fact, the 19-year-old forward has only been limited to one point on four occasions.  The Arizona Coyotes prospect has 11 goals and 36 points in 16 contests.  Pierre-Luc Dubois is on a six-game point streak after scoring two goals and an assist on Sunday.  He has 13 goals and 28 points in 23 contests with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles.  Alex Barre-Boulet has only been held off the scoresheet once in his last five contests.  He had 51 points in 68 contests as a rookie in 2014-15, but he’s well on his way to shattering that mark with 13 goals and 21 assists in 21 games this season.  Guillaume Gauthier had a hat trick and two assists on Sunday.  That brought the 20-year-old up to 20 goals and 37 points in 22 contests with the Sherbrooke Phoenix           .
