Ketel Marte smacked a two-run single on Saturday, helping to lead the Diamondbacks to a lopsided victory over the Rangers in Game 2 of the World Series.
Marte did his damage late in this one, delivering a two-run knock off of Martin Perez in the eighth inning that made it a 6-1 ballgame. That would be his only hit in five trips to the plate on the evening. For the postseason, Marte is hitting .333 (21-for-63) with a pair of homers, 11 RBI, six runs scored and three stolen bases. The Series will now shift to Arizona on Monday with the two sides knotted up at one game each.
