Cardinals optioned RHP Jacob Bosiokovic to Triple-A Memphis.
Bosiokovic was added to the major league roster last Sunday, but didn’t appear in a game for the Cardinals. He has a 3.00 ERA and 38 strikeouts in 30 innings at Triple-A this year. Now that he’s on the 40-man roster, he could come back and make his major league debut later this season.

Pirates signed LHP Joe La Sorsa to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
The 27-year-old La Sorsa added considerable velocity last season, with his fastball climbing on average from 88 mph in 2024 to 92 mph during his time with the Reds. Still, it didn’t help him establish himself in the majors. He has a 5.21 ERA in 57 innings with the Rays, Nationals and Reds the last three years.
Kershaw: 'I'm just glad I got that last out'
Clayton Kershaw talks about how happy he was to end his career with a World Series win, if he was nervous pitching in relief during Game 3, what his retirement plans are, if he considered playing another year and more.
  • FA Left Fielder #74
Eloy Jiménez has elected free agency.
Once considered one of the premier sluggers in all of baseball, Jiménez has seen his production fall off of a cliff in recent years. He spent the entire 2025 campaign in the minor leagues, slashing just .247/.326/.347 with three homers and 30 RBI in 215 plate appearances between the Orioles’ and Blue Jays’ organizations. There will probably be teams interested in taking a flier on him, but it won’t be anything more than a minor league deal with an invitation to spring training.
  • FA Relief Pitcher #35
Joe Mantiply has elected free agency.
The 34-year-old southpaw was inked to a minor league contract by the Blue Jays back in July but spent his entire time with the organization at Triple-A Buffalo. There he registered a 3.45 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and a 19/0 K/BB ratio over 15 2/3 innings. Once considered one of the better setup men in the National League, Mantiply shouldn’t have any trouble finding another opportunity on the open market.
  • FA Relief Pitcher #29
Michael Grove has elected free agency.
The 28-year-old right-hander was removed from the Dodgers’ 40-man roster earlier in the week. That’s the unfortunate cost of business of having such a deep and talented roster, as the Dodgers simply can’t keep everyone. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Grove land a major league deal elsewhere this winter. At the very least he’ll have a plethora of minor league options to choose from.
  • KC 2nd Baseman #65
Royals signed INF Connor Kaiser to a minor league contract.
Kaiser fortifies Kansas City’s infield depth heading into spring training. The 28-year-old got into 11 games for the Diamondbacks this past season, going 2-for-18 with a pair of RBI during that span. He can be safely ignored for fantasy purposes.
  • ARI Catcher #66
Diamondbacks re-signed C Aramis Garcia to a minor league contract.
Garcia will be in camp next spring as emergency catching depth for Arizona behind Gabriel Moreno and Adrian Del Castillo. The well-traveled soon-to-be 33-year-old backstop got into a pair of contests for the Diamondbacks this past season.
  • TEX Shortstop #76
Rangers re-signed SS Richie Martin to a minor league contract.
Martin provides the Rangers with some additional infield depth entering next season after hitting .258/.348/.369 with three homers and 25 steals in 303 plate appearances over 79 games for Triple-A Round Rock this past season. The soon-to-be 31-year-old journeyman got into 170 games for the Orioles from 2019-2022.
  • TEX Starting Pitcher #63
Rangers re-signed RHP Trey Supak to a minor league contract.
Supak was a second-round pick in the 2014 MLB Draft and has yet to reach the big leagues. The 29-year-old hurler posted a solid 3.85 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 131/33 K/BB ratio over 128 1/3 innings over 26 starts between Double-A Friso and Triple-A Round Rock this past season. He’s merely organizational fodder at this stage of his career.
  • ATL Starting Pitcher #59
Braves re-signed RHP Carlos Carrasco to a minor league contract.
Carrasco returns to the fold as emergency depth for Atlanta after compiling a bloated 7.09 ERA, 1.71 WHIP and 34/17 K/BB ratio across 45 2/3 innings over 11 appearances (nine starts) between the Braves and Yankees last season. The long-time fixture in Cleveland’s rotation would be back for his 17th season in the big leagues if he makes it to Truist Park at some point next year.
  • ATL Starting Pitcher #61
Braves re-signed RHP Darius Vines to a minor league contract.
Vines returns as organizational depth after missing all of last season due to an undisclosed injury. The 27-year-old righty holds an underwhelming 5.82 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 23/11 K/BB ratio across 34 innings over nine appearances (four starts) in the majors since 2023.
