Colt Keith went 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI on Friday night, leading the Tigers to a 2-1 victory over the Rangers and their fifth consecutive victory.
Keith reached on a fielder’s choice in the second inning and raced around to score the game’s first run on a bloop RBI double off the bat of Dillon Dingler. Keith then drove in a run of his own with an RBI single in the fourth inning that plated Riley Greene from second. As a team, the Tigers totaled just three hits in the ballgame, with Keith accounting for two of them. He’s slowly bringing his slash line back to respectability, hitting .229/.357/.375 to go with four homers and 12 RBI.
