Keith reached on a fielder’s choice in the second inning and raced around to score the game’s first run on a bloop RBI double off the bat of Dillon Dingler. Keith then drove in a run of his own with an RBI single in the fourth inning that plated Riley Greene from second. As a team, the Tigers totaled just three hits in the ballgame, with Keith accounting for two of them. He’s slowly bringing his slash line back to respectability, hitting .229/.357/.375 to go with four homers and 12 RBI.

Shelby Miller picked up a save with a scoreless ninth inning against the Giants on Monday.

Miller was handed just a one-run cushion, but handled it without issue. He threw 7-of-9 pitches for strikes, and was able to pick up a punchout while lowering his ERA to a shiny 1.02 mark. Miller now has two saves on the season, and it seems very plausible that he’s going to get more looks to end games based on the results over the first six weeks.

Justin Verlander

SF Starting Pitcher #35

Justin Verlander allowed just two runs over six innings but still took a loss Monday against the Diamondbacks.

Verlander pitched solidly, but still remains without his first win as a member of the Giants. The only two runs allowed came on solo homers by Corbin Carroll, and he was able to strike out five while allowing just one walk. Verlander has lowered his ERA from 6.75 to 4.31 over his last four starts, and he’ll get a chance to lower it again when he faces the Athletics over the weekend.

Merrill Kelly

ARI Starting Pitcher #29

Merrill Kelly struck out eight while working seven strong innings of one-run baseball to get a win over the Giants on Monday.

Kelly was able to work seven innings for the first time in 2025, and they were seven excellent innings. He allowed eight hits, but all were singles sans a double from Willy Adames, and the only run came in the fifth on a single by Christian Koss. He threw 68-of-103 pitches for strikes, and he was able to generate a solid 12 swings-and-misses in the outing. Kelly will look to continue lowering his 3.71 ERA when he faces off against the dreadful Rockies on Sunday.

Austin Wells

NYY Catcher #28

Austin Wells hit a three-run homer and drove in four runs Monday in a victory over the Mariners.

Wells broke the game open with a three-run homer in the fifth off Emerson Hancock to extend the Yankees’ lead to 7-2. He drove in another run seventh to make it an 8-2 cushion. Wells has gone deep eight times in 2025, and his .479 slugging percentage helps negate a less-than-desirable .215 average to go with it.

Cal Raleigh

SEA Catcher #29

Cal Raleigh hit a two-run homer in a loss to the Yankees on Monday.

Raleigh drew within a homer of Aaron Judge for the MLB lead with his 13th homer of the season; a two-run shot off Tim Hill. He’s also driven in 27 runs, putting him on pace for his second straight 100-RBI campaign. Raleigh strikes out too much to ever hit for a high average, but this kind of power production is well worth the hit in that category.

Aaron Judge

NYY Right Fielder #99

Aaron Judge reached four times and drove in a run Monday in a win for the Yankees over the Mariners.

Is this getting boring yet? Judge doubled and singled while drawing a pair of free passes to up his slash to .414/.500/.783. The double was his 12th of the year and he now has 28 extra-base hits on the season. There are really, really good fantasy players who will never have a week with an OPS of 1.283. Aaron Judge has done it over a quarter of a season.

Trent Grisham

NYY Center Fielder #12

Trent Grisham homered twice to help the Yankees to an 11-5 win over the Mariners on Monday.

Grisham also added a single. Both homers were to center field; just out of the reach of Julio Rodriguez, and it gives Grisham a remarkable 12 homers on the year and .663 slugging percentage. This comes a year after the 28-year-old hit nine homers total, and he’s never hit more than 17 in a single campaign. At some point the power production is going to subside, but it’s more than possible that this is the breakout season fantasy managers have been waiting for.

Clarke Schmidt

NYY Starting Pitcher #36

Clarke Schmidt worked six-plus innings of three-run baseball while picking up a win over the Mariners on Monday.

Schmidt gave up a long homer to Julio Rodriguez in the first, and gave up another roundtripper two innings later to Jorge Polanco. After that he settled down quite nicely before giving up another run after he had exited the game in the seventh. He walked a pair while allowing just three hits, and he was able to strike out six. Schmidt has looked good as of late, and he’ll be on the mound Sunday for the Subway Series against the Mets.
