It’s the best-case scenario as Vientos will continue receiving treatment for the next two weeks before he’s ready to resume baseball activities. The 25-year-old third baseman is still facing a multi-week absence, but it sounds like there’s a chance he’s back before the end of June. It’ll be Brett Baty and Ronny Mauricio handling the hot corner in his absence.

Collyer was sent down just five days ago, but he’s back in the Rangers pen to replace an ailing Cole Winn. He had a 2.84 ERA and a 10/8 K/BB in 12 2/3 innings prior to his demotion.

Heriberto Hernández

MIA Left Fielder #13

Heriberto Hernández went 2-for-4 with a grand slam against the Mets on Sunday.

Hernández entered the game as a pinch hitter in the seventh inning and hit a single. In a tied game in the ninth inning, he came up with the bases loaded and one out and hit a walk-off grand slam off Mets closer Devin Williams. Hernández is still hitting just .193 with little power in limited at-bats for the Marlins.

Devin Williams

NYM Relief Pitcher #38

Devin Williams allowed four runs and took the loss against the Marlins on Sunday.

Williams started the ninth inning by allowing a double to Christopher Morel. After a sacrifice bunt and a walk, the Mets decided to intentionally walk Xavier Edwards to load the bases for Heriberto Hernández, who promptly hit a walk-off grand slam. It’s Williams’ second loss of the year and his ERA is now 6.35. Williams had a 1.83 ERA in six seasons with the Brewers before his drop-off in production with the Yankees and Mets over the last two years.

Tyler Phillips

MIA Relief Pitcher #30

Tyler Phillips tossed 3 2/3 scoreless innings and got a no-decision against the Mets on Sunday.

Phillips gave up two hits, walked two and struck out four. The 28-year-old converted reliever threw 59 pitches. Phillips had been excellent out of the bullpen this year and was no different in his first start as he wasn’t scored upon. He now has a 1.07 ERA on the season. Phillips is lined up to face the Mets again next weekend, but isn’t pitching deep enough into games yet to be in fantasy lineups.

Christian Scott

NYM Starting Pitcher #45

Christian Scott tossed 5 2/3 scoreless innings and got a no-decision against the Marlins on Sunday.

Scott gave up four hits, walked two and struck out five. He received no run support as the Mets lost 4-0. Scott threw 94 pitches and was removed following a two-out single in the sixth inning. He lowered his ERA to 3.20 and now has 30 strikeouts in 25 1/3 innings this year. Scott is lined up to face the Marlins at home next weekend.

Bryson Stott

PHI 2nd Baseman #5

Bryson Stott went 2-for-4 against the Guardians on Sunday.

Stott didn’t get off to a good start this year. He hit .198 in his first 29 games. He’s turned it around in May, though. Stott has hits in 16 of his last 18 games and is hitting .306 with three home runs, 14 RBI, seven runs and four steals in that time. It’s safe to say his slump is over at this point.

Travis Bazzana

CLE 2nd Baseman #87

Travis Bazzana went 3-for-4 with a solo home run against the Phillies on Sunday.

Bazzana started the game with a leadoff single, but was then caught stealing second base. He later hit a home run in the eighth inning to extend the Guardians’ lead to 3-1. Bazzana is hitting .294 and already has three home runs in his first 85 at-bats in the major leagues. Steven Kwan also had three hits on Sunday, but Bazzana appears to be the team’s preferred leadoff hitter against right-handed pitching at the moment.

Cade Smith

CLE Relief Pitcher #36

Cade Smith tossed a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Phillies on Sunday.

Smith made quick work of the Phillies in the bottom of the ninth inning. With the Guardians clinging to a 3-1 lead, he induced two ground outs before he struck out Trea Turner to end the game. Smith now has 18 saves, which leads the league. With the exception of Mason Miller, he has a case as the top reliever in baseball.

Andrew Painter

PHI Starting Pitcher #24

Andrew Painter allowed two runs in 6 2/3 innings and took the loss against the Guardians on Sunday.

Painter gave up six hits, walked two and struck out three. He fell to 1-5 with the loss. Painter has a 5.40 ERA on the season, though his 4.35 xFIP points to better days ahead. He was a popular pickup in fantasy, but he’s not contributing much in any of the categories right now. Painter’s WHIP is 1.46 and he has 40 strikeouts in 50 innings. Fantasy managers need to find a better option than using Painter against the Dodgers on the road next weekend.
