Arozarena took hard-throwing Chicago reliever Jordan Hicks deep for a 396-foot moonshot to left-center field that gave Seattle a three-run lead that they wouldn’t relinquish. It was his fifth round-tripper of the season. The 31-year-old power/speed combo fantasy threat is hitting a robust .324/.413/.515 with 14 runs scored, three homers, 10 RBI and seven steals in 19 games since the start of May.

Torkelson will undoubtedly be in there for the nightcap against left-hander Trevor Rogers and will likely make an appearance off of the bench in the first game. Dillon Dingler will function as the team’s designated hitter while Colt Keith covers first base and bats sixth against Brandon Young and the O’s.

Fans tuning in to MLB Sunday Leadoff on Peacock will miss out on seeing one of the most exciting rookies in the game as the 20-year-old shortstop is getting a breather in this one. Jared Triolo will start in his place at shortstop and will bat ninth for the Bucs against Blue Jays’ right-hander Dylan Cease on Sunday afternoon in Toronto.

The 29-year-old left-hander had been sidelined since May 9 due to a lower back strain. He’ll serve as the 27th man for Sunday’s doubleheader against the Tigers before potentially heading back to Triple-A Norfolk. Wolfram holds a 4.85 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and a stellar 20/1 K/BB ratio over 13 innings with the O’s this season.

Jones allowed just two hits in the contest, though he also issued three free passes. The important note is that he got stretched out to 76 pitches in this one after throwing only 52 his last time out. He’s eligible to return from the injured list this week, so it’s possible the Pirates decide to bring him back or his next start rather than having him make one final minor league rehab start. Fantasy managers who have been anxiously awaiting Jones’ return may finally start to see returns this week.

The 28-year-old southpaw struck out three batters on the night while allowing one base on balls. Ragans threw 68 pitches in the contest (44 strikes) while racking up 10 swings and misses. His fastball touched as high as 97.6 mph. The Royals may want him to make one additional start to get fully stretched out, but his return appears to be near.

Speier didn’t show any signs of rust in this one, needing just nine pitches (eight strikes) to retire the side in order — including a pair of strikeouts. He’ll probably need just one more tune-up there before he’s ready to rejoin the Mariners’ bullpen.

Rumfield cut the Diamondbacks’ lead in half with a solo homer in the eighth inning. The 26-year-old also scored a second run, and he’s been one of the few bright spots for the lowly — again — Rockies with a slash of .289/.359/.460. Solid numbers even before you consider how far off the radar Rumfield was to begin 2026.

Osuna singled for all three hits. The 23-year-old has shown very little power since being promoted near the end of April, but he’s also hit .295 with a .427 on-base percentage over his month of work. Osuna is more than likely a fourth outfielder, but there have certainly been flashes that suggest he’s a little more. Not enough to trust him in redraft leagues just yet, but flashes.

Nathan Eovaldi left a cutter in the middle of the plate in the first inning, and Trout took advantage of it with a long homer to center field. That’s the 13th homer of the season for the future Hall of Famer, and he’s now driven in 27 runs over the first third of the season. Trout has now homered three times in May, and it’s just fun to see the 34-year-old healthy and productive on the baseball field more than anything.

Yates failed in his first chance for a save with the Angels on Wednesday, but he was able to convert this one without issue. The 39-year-old didn’t allow a hit, and he struck out a batter while throwing 9-of-11 pitches for strikes. Yates has plenty of closing experience, but it’s tough to trust him even before you consider how bad the Angels are.
