This article aims to highlight some of the best NBA DFS Plays at every position for your cash game lineups. Keep in mind that the following player write-ups were constructed earlier in the day, and sometimes injury/rest situations can alter the fantasy landscape. Monitoring our NBA News & Headlines Feed throughout the day will keep you in the loop while giving you the subsequent DFS consequences of each information piece.

We’ll take a look at the six-game slate starting at 7:00 ET on Sunday.

POINT GUARD

Jeff Teague - Minnesota (vs. Milwaukee)

The matchup vs. Milwaukee doesn’t look great on paper, but Teague is poised to enjoy a significant usage boost with Karl-Anthony Towns serving the second game of his suspension. That was the case on Saturday at Washington, where Teague unleashed full “takeover mode” for 44 fantasy points through 27 minutes in a blowout victory. We can expect him to post a solid return on investment given the mid-range salary in this competitive home draw against the Bucks.

Also Consider: Kyrie Irving, Ricky Rubio

SHOOTING GUARD
James Harden - Houston (at Memphis)

Russell Westbrook (rest) won’t play tonight, so that removes the usage conflict in the Houston backcourt. In other words, Harden will see as much usage as he wants in this high-scoring (230.5 over/under) matchup at Memphis. Needless to say, that makes the former MVP a virtual lock for cash games and risky fade in tournaments.

Also Consider: Bruce Brown, Andrew Wiggins

SMALL FORWARD

Giannis Antetokounmpo - Milwaukee (at Minnesota)

From a former MVP to the reigning award winner, it’s a great idea to stack both in your lineup tonight. There’s enough value to make that possible (see Ryan Knaus’ NBA DFS Bargains article), and Giannis has the benefit of playing up in pace at Minnesota. The Wolves rank first in possessions per game (113.5) to start the season, which should inflate the scoring from both sides tonight. The Wolves have a few legitimate defenders to throw at Antetokounmpo (namely Robert Covington), but their team/help defense should enable Giannis to do his thing. Minnesota ranks 22nd in defensive efficiency to the small forward position so far, so this could be a “ceiling game” for the MVP.

Also Consider: Markieff Morris, Luke Kennard

POWER FORWARD

Brandon Clarke - Memphis (vs. Houston)

Jaren Jackson Jr. has been ruled out while Brandon Clarke is probable. The latter is slated for an increased role while coming off an efficient 42 FP performance (22 minutes) vs. Phoenix on Saturday. The Summer League MVP should benefit from playing up in pace against Houston (4th in possessions/game) tonight.

Also Consider: Robert Covington, Rui Hachimura

CENTER

Gorgui Dieng - Minnesota (vs. Milwaukee)

As mentioned earlier, Towns will be serving out the last game of his suspension tonight. Dieng stepped up for 42 fantasy points through 23 minutes while starting for the All-Star last game, and he should continue to produce with expanded playing time tonight. The matchup against Milwaukee will provide more resistance, so don’t expect a repeat of that 40+ FP outing. However, Dieng should be able to pay fantasy dividends on his non-imposing salary.

Also Consider: Andre Drummond, Jahlil Okafor
