POINT GUARD
John Wall – Washington (at New York)
You’ll notice a few themes throughout this article: taking players from WAS-NYK and LAC-NO. Those appear to be the two best game environments of the night, and there’s plenty of viable DFS streamers within that. John Wall checks in as a headline pick following a sweet 51 FP effort vs Brooklyn on Saturday. He’s looking at an even better matchup this time around while facing a New York team that ranks 26th in overall defensive efficiency. Wall and the other Washington starters have fallen victim to some blowouts in recent games, but this is expected to be a tight and high-scoring clash in New York.

SHOOTING GUARD
Tim Hardaway Jr. – New York (vs Washington)
As mentioned in the previous write-up, this Washington-New York tilt is ripe for the picking in daily fantasy. Tim Hardaway Jr has been up-and-down lately, but I’m expecting a solid performance tonight. He’ll step in against a Washington team that ranks ninth in pace and 28th in overall team defensive efficiency. It helps that THJR is brimming with confidence following a nice effort in Saturday’s upset win vs Milwaukee. He’ll continue to see plenty of shots and minutes while leading the Knicks.

SMALL FORWARD
DeMarre Carroll – Brooklyn (vs Cleveland)
This pick is somewhat contingent on an injury. Joe Harris is questionable for Brooklyn tonight. He has missed the past two games, leading DeMarre Carroll to step up by averaging 29 minutes and 30 fantasy points over that span. If Harris is out, we can look towards Carroll as a decent bargain filler. It helps that he’s playing a Cleveland team that ranks 28th in defensive efficiency vs opposing small forwards.
Also Consider: Danilo Gallinari, Otto Porter Jr, Gary Harris (better on DK)
POWER FORWARD
Markieff Morris – Washington (at New York)
Morris flopped in a blowout at Philadelphia last week, but he has posted 35+ fantasy points in four straight games otherwise. He has an excellent chance to exceed that threshold in this strong matchup at New York. The Knicks rank 28th in defensive efficiency vs opposing power forwads, and Washington will continue to lean heavily on Markieff with Dwight Howard out indefinitely. I like Morris through all formats on both FanDuel and DraftKings this evening.

CENTER
Tristan Thompson – Cleveland (at Brooklyn)
Karl-Anthony Towns and Clint Capela are strong fantasy picks while going against each other tonight. However, I’m leaning towards the value route with Tristan Thompson here. After all, we’ll need to find savings wherever we can get it while trying to stack guys like Anthony Davis, John Wall, and others into our lineup. Thompson makes for a fine mid-range pick with a confident floor/ceiling combination. He has racked up 35+ fantasy points in five of his last six games, even hitting totals of 54 and 48 FP through that span. As if that wasn’t good enough, tonight’s draw at Brooklyn is probably his best matchup in recent memory. The Nets dead last in defensive efficiency vs opposing centers and 26th in rebound rate. Don’t be surprised if Thompson turns in another dominant performance.
