Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

This article aims to highlight some of the best NBA DFS Plays at every position for your FanDuel and DraftKings lineups. Keep in mind that the following player write-ups were constructed earlier in the day, and sometimes injury/rest situations can alter the fantasy landscape. Monitoring our NBA News & Headlines Feed throughout the day will keep you in the loop while giving you the subsequent DFS consequences of each information piece.

Take note that we are looking at the main slate (six games) starting at 7:00 ET.

POINT GUARD

De’Aaron Fox – Sacramento (at Washington)

Fox has really turned it on this year while averaging 17 points, 4 rebounds, and 7 assists per contest. He’s pretty fun to watch while facilitating the offense for this fast-paced Kings team. Fox and his teammates should have plenty of opportunities to put on a show while playing within an inflated 240 point over/under at Washington. Both teams rank top five in pace and bottom five in defensive efficiency to several positions. In fact, the Wizards are currently 26th in d-eff to point guards and 28th in opponent assist rate. Fox is coming off a satisfying 48 fantasy point outing at New York on Saturday, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he posted a similar total here.

Also Consider: Kyrie Irving, Tomas Satoransky

SHOOTING GUARD

Donovan Mitchell – Utah (vs Oklahoma City)

Ricky Rubio and Raul Neto have been ruled out, meaning we’ll see Mitchell absorb significant minutes at point guard. He was in that role Friday at Memphis, ending up with 38 points, 4 boards, and 5 assists (50 fantasy points). Mitchell finds himself in a competitive home draw against Oklahoma City, and he posted 50 FP on the Thunder in their last meeting (2OT on 2/22). While the matchup doesn’t look great on paper, Mitchell will see his numbers boosted by handling the ball more. It also helps that OKC ranks second in the league for possessions per game.

Also Consider: Bradley Beal, Buddy Hield

SMALL FORWARD

Joe Ingles – Utah (vs Oklahoma City)

Ingles should benefit from the absence of Rubio and Neto as well. Citing the previous write-up, Mitchell will slide over to point guard, which leaves Ingles with more opportunities on the wing. The Utah forward has posted 42 and 34 fantasy points respectively over the past two games with Rubio sidelined. That represents his range of outcomes tonight, potentially finding upside if the deep-ball is on target. Ingles has been putting together some well-rounded stat-lines lately, and Oklahoma City ranks 24th in defensive efficiency to small forwards.

Also Consider: Harrison Barnes, Trevor Ariza, Royce O’Neale (punt)

POWER FORWARD

Frank Kaminsky – Charlotte (at Houston)

Cody Zeller and Marvin Williams have been ruled out tonight. Kaminsky was already playing very well while averaging 22 fantasy points and 22 minutes per contest over his past five. The absence of those two starters makes Kaminsky a strong value candidate while pushing for 30 minutes. Go ahead and look towards him through all formats tonight.

UPDATE: Jayson Tatum has been ruled out for Boston tonight, so Gordon Hayward (SF) and Marcus Morris (PF) become viable DFS bargains through all formats. A promising matchup at the Clippers serves as the proverbial cherry-on-top.

Also Consider: Blake Griffin, Bobby Portis

CENTER

Willie Cauley-Stein – Sacramento (at Washington)

If you haven’t caught on yet, this Sacramento-Washington game looks perfect from a fantasy point of view. I’ll definitely be stacking both teams in my lineup tonight, as Fox, Hield, Portis, Ariza, Barnes, Beal, and Satoransky are all legitimate plays through all formats. Let’s not forget about the Sacramento big man either, as Cauley-Stein will look to take advantage of a Wizards frontcourt that ranks 27th in defensive efficiency to centers. He has produced 36+ fantasy points in two of his last four, and this is an excellent spot to eclipse that threshold yet again.

Also Consider: Clint Capela, Andre Drummond
