  • NBA Point Guard #10

Undrafted Iona PG Scott Machado has received calls from the Cavaliaers, Hawks, Hornets, Raptors and Rockets, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
Machado averaged 9.9 assists vs. 3.3 turnovers for Iona last season, adding 13.6 points per game on solid shooting averages (49.5 percent FGs, 40.4 percent 3-pointers). He could develop into a worthwhile backup PG for any of the teams mentioned, and will likely get a few invites to Summer League.
  • MIN Guard #13

Ayo Dosunmu (thumb) is questionable to play against the Clippers on Thursday.
Dosunmu dealt with an injury in his right thumb earlier this season, and it has popped back up again. If he ends up missing this matchup with the Clippers, Bones Hyland, Jaylen Clark and Terrence Shannon Jr. would likely be in line for a few extra minutes, with Hyland playing the largest role off the bench.
Look for Miller to have redemption game vs. Kings
Pierre Andresen is eyeing Paolo Banchero and Brandon Miller for his pick 6 set on DraftKings Sportsbook.
  • CLE Guard-Forward #2
Max Strus has been assigned to the Cleveland Charge.
Strus’ rehab will continue with the Cavaliers’ G League affiliate. Strus was able to participate in practice last week, so this is likely just an opportunity to get him more reps while the Cavs play a game in Orlando. Strus could return for one of their two games against the Mavericks this weekend, though his role will likely be limited.
  • GSW Guard #30
Stephen Curry (knee) will be re-evaluated in 10 days.
Though Curry has returned to on-court work, he will be re-evaluated in March 21 before deciding when he will return to the lineup. He has already missed 15 games, with the Warriors going 5-10 during that stretch, and he will miss at least five more. Gui Santos will continue to start in his place, with extra minutes and shots to go around for everyone.
  • Dorian Finney-Smith (ankle) is out against the Nuggets on Wednesday.
DFS still isn’t playing back-to-backs, so after suiting up on Tuesday, he will sit for this game. Josh Okogie should take on extra minutes off the bench with DFS sidelined.
  • NYK Guard #3
Josh Hart (knee) has been downgraded to doubtful to play against the Jazz on Wednesday.
Hart was initially listed as questionable but is now expected to miss this game. Both Landry Shamet and Mohamed Diawara are candidates to replace Hart in the starting unit, though both should see a bump in minutes regardless.
  • Trayce Jackson-Davis (finger) is questionable to play against the Pelicans on Wednesday.
Jackson-Davis could be back after a one-game absence, but he has barely seen the floor when available. His status won’t alter the Raptors’ rotation.
  • Collin Murray-Boyles (thumb) will remain out for Wednesday’s game against the Pelicans.
This will be a sixth straight absence for the rookie, with no end in sight. Jakob Poeltl will start if he plays, with Sandro Mamukelashvili filling out the minutes behind Poeltl. Jonathan Mogbo should fill out any other minutes down low with CMB out.
  • TOR Center #19
Jakob Poeltl (illness) is questionable to play against the Pelicans on Wednesday.
Poeltl was sidelined for Tuesday’s game but could return to take on New Orleans. However, if he remains out, Sandro Mamukelashvili would be in line for a second straight start. Mamu played 30 minutes on Wednesday and posted an 8/4/4/2 line.
  • Jazz signed Andersson Garcia to a 10-day contract.
Garcia has played this season with the Mexico City Capitanes in the G League, averaging 10.9 points, 9.8 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game. He’ll get the chance to suit up for Utah and make his NBA debut after going undrafted last summer. If the Jazz are looking to improve their lottery odds, Garcia could end up playing a significant role.
  • UTA Guard #55
John Konchar (calf) has been ruled out against the Knicks on Wednesday.
Konchar will be sidelined after starting Utah’s last game. However, with Ace Bailey (illness) available, Konchar likely would’ve returned to playing a role off the bench. Brice Sensabaugh should see a bump in minutes with Konchar sidelined.
