Cedi Osman started Wednesday’s 102-94 loss to the Timberwolves and played 32 minutes, finishing with six points (3-of-8 FGs, 0-of-2 FTs), eight rebounds, six assists, and two steals.
Osman made his first start of the season on Wednesday, and while the scoring wasn’t there, the rebounds and assists were. Rostered in two percent of Yahoo leagues, he’s ranked outside the top 250 in 9-cat per-game value. Due to that production, there weren’t many fantasy managers lining up to stream Osman after he was announced as a starter. And that’s unlikely to change with 13 games on the schedule for Friday, including the Spurs’ home tilt with the Bulls. However, fantasy managers should monitor Osman’s place in the rotation. If he gets another start and cleans up the shooting, he could be worth a look during Week 8, with San Antonio playing four games.
