Anthony Davis shot 5-of-10 from the field and 6-of-8 from the foul line in Thursday’s 133-89 win over the Pelicans, accumulating 16 points, 15 rebounds, five assists, two steals, and two blocked shots in 31 minutes.
Not only was Davis the only Lakers starter to play more than 30 minutes, he was the only one to log at least 25. That’s how good things went for his team, with Darvin Ham resting his starts for the entire fourth quarter. Davis may not have done as much scoring as fantasy managers (and bettors) would have liked, but the full stat line should make up for that. This season, he’s providing top-5 per-game value in 9-cat formats, outperforming his Yahoo ADP of 12. Next up for Davis and the Lakers are the Pacers in Saturday’s In-Season Tournament final, which will not count toward the league standings or statistics.
