Jabari Smith Jr. ended Tuesday’s win over Orlando with 23 points, seven rebounds, five assists, two blocks and three triples across 41 minutes.
Smith Jr. finished behind only Fred VanVleet (37 points) for team lead in the scoring department, as he posted a strong final stat line. Smith Jr. has averaged fewer than 14 points per game but he’s been on a roll as a scorer as of late. Over his last games, the second-year man has averaged 18.7 points to go with 6.3 boards, 1.1 blocks and 3.0 triples.
  • CHA Point Guard #1

LaMelo Ball (ankle) is listed as questionable for the Hornets’ home game against the Pistons on Wednesday.
Ball unexpectedly popped up on the injury report after a poor showing against the Timberwolves his last time out. He hasn’t missed a game this season, but Tre Mann could thrive if given the chance to step into the starting lineup.
  • DAL Center #2
Dereck Lively (right shoulder sprain) is listed as doubtful for the Mavericks-Bulls game on Wednesday.
Lively appears set to miss his second game of the season. Daniel Gafford will take on the bulk of the work at center. While he didn’t do much with Lively’s first missed contest he can put up impressive numbers in a featured role.
  • LAL Small Forward #28
Rui Hachimura (illness) is listed as questionable for the Lakers’ Wednesday matchup against the Grizzlies.
Hachimura isn’t in the best shape after posting a 20-point double-double his last time out. Los Angeles is short on longer wings, so Dalton Knecht or Max Christie could have to step into the starting lineup if Hachimura is ruled out.
  • SAC Shooting Guard #9
Kevin Huerter (illness) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Raptors.
Huerter has missed Sacramento’s last two games, with Doug McDermott (at TOR) and Keon Ellis (at MIA) filling the resulting void. Of the two, Ellis offers higher streaming value should Huerter remain sidelined. Also of note was McDermott being a DNP-CD for the win over Miami, which is even more reason to leave him on the waiver wire.
  • PHI Small Forward #8
Paul George (left knee bone bruise) is probable for Wednesday’s game against the Clippers.
Based on the preliminary injury report, there’s a chance George won’t play against his former employer on Wednesday. If so, Kyle Lowry would return to the starting lineup. Lowry isn’t an elite fantasy option, but he would be worth rostering in deep leagues if George sits.
  • DEN Power Forward #31
Vlatko Cancar (right ankle sprain) is doubtful for Wednesday’s game against the Thunder.
Cancar’s likely absence will not impact fantasy basketball, as he’s rarely in the rotation when healthy. With Aaron Gordon (calf) sidelined, expect to see a lot of Peyton Watson and Julian Strawther, with the former likely moving into the starting lineup.
  • PHX Shooting Guard #3
Bradley Beal (right elbow strain) is probable for Wednesday’s game against the Heat.
Beal’s status as probable suggests he’ll play against the Heat, meaning the Suns will have their preferred starting five on the floor. Ryan Dunn, who has been Beal’s replacement in the past, only played 10 minutes in Monday’s win over Philadelphia. Given Beal’s status for Wednesday, there’s no need to hold onto the rookie wing.
  • DAL Power Forward #25
PJ Washington (right knee sprain) is doubtful for Wednesday’s game against the Bulls.
Washington played 35 minutes in Monday’s loss to the Pacers, but he’ll miss at least one game with a knee injury. Naji Marshall is the player most likely to move into the starting lineup, with the move giving his fantasy value a welcome boost.
  • TOR Shooting Guard #5
Immanuel Quickley (right pelvic contusion) is doubtful for Wednesday’s game against the Kings.
Quickley will likely miss another game, meaning Davion Mitchell will remain in the starting lineup. While he doesn’t offer much as a scorer, the assists and steals make Mitchell a worthwhile stream.
  • HOU Center #12
Steven Adams (right knee injury management) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Spurs.
Adams heads back to the sideline after playing 14 minutes off the bench in Monday’s win over the Knicks. His absence likely means Jock Landale will slide into the back end of the rotation, but he is not worth streaming in any league.
