Malik Beasley posted a stat line of 17 points (5-of-10 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, and five 3-pointers in 20 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Celtics.
To begin the season, Beasley has scored 13 points or more in all three of Detroit’s games, with Saturday’s performance being the most productive. Primarily a points and 3-pointers option, he’s averaging 14.7 points and 3.3 3-pointers per game. There’s no need to rush out and add Beasley now, even with Detroit playing four games in Week 2. But keep an eye on him.
